فَمَا زَالَتْ تِلْكَ دَعْوَاهُمْ حَتَّىٰ جَعَلْنَاهُمْ حَصِيدًا خَامِدِينَ

এতেকে সিহঁতৰ এই আৰ্তনাদ চলিয়ে আছিল যেতিয়ালৈকে আমি সিহঁতক দাই নিয়া শস্য আৰু নুমাই যোৱা জুইৰ দৰে কৰা নাছিলো।

21:15 And that cry of theirs did not cease until We made them as the stubble of a reaped field, silent as ashes. [36:28]

21:15. (But then feeling sorry is of no use. When one is confronted with the outcome of one’s deeds, nothing can be reversed.) Thus they continued crying, lamented the wrongs they had done and were extremely ashamed. However 

Our Law of Mukafat turned them into a mowed-down field in which nothing could grow (like an extinguished flame devoid of any life ~ 36:28).pz.

۞ وَمَا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ مِنْ جُنْدٍ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَمَا كُنَّا مُنْزِلِينَ

আমি তেওঁৰ (মৃত্যুৰ) পিছত তেওঁৰ সম্প্ৰদায়ৰ বিৰুদ্ধে আকাশৰ পৰা কোনো বাহিনী প্ৰেৰণ কৰা নাই আৰু সেয়া প্ৰেৰণ কৰাৰ কোনো প্ৰয়োজনো নাছিল।)

وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاءَ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا لَاعِبِينَ

আকাশ-পৃথিৱী আৰু এই দুয়োৰে মাজত যি আছে সেয়া আমি খেল-ধেমালিৰ ছলেৰে সৃষ্টি কৰা নাই।

৪৪:৩৮-৩৯

وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا لَاعِبِينَ

আকাশসমূহ, পৃথিৱী আৰু এই দুয়োৰে মাজত যি আছে ইয়াৰ একোৱেই আমি ধেমালিৰ ছলেৰে সৃষ্টি কৰা নাই;

৪৪:৩৯

مَا خَلَقْنَاهُمَا إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

আমি এই দুয়োকে যথাযথভাৱেই সৃষ্টি কৰিছো, কিন্তু সিহঁতৰ সৰহভাগেই নাজানে।

21:16. (They thought that) We have created this heaven and earth and all that is in between (the universe) just for fun; an 

idle play. No, not at all! We have created all this for a great purpose. And the purpose is that no work would be done 

without producing a result, whether it involves a person or a nation. All actions will continue producing very accurate results (11:71; 45:22 ; 53:31).pz.

(৪৫:২২

وَخَلَقَ اللَّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ وَلِتُجْزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ

আল্লাহে আকাশসমূহক আৰু পৃথিৱীক যথাযথভাৱে সৃষ্টি কৰিছে, এই উদ্দেশ্যে যে, যাতে প্ৰত্যেক ব্যক্তিক তাৰ কৰ্ম অনুযায়ী ফল প্ৰদান কৰা যায়; আৰু সিহঁতৰ প্ৰতি কোনো অন্যায় কৰা নহ’ব।

৫৩:৩১

وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ لِيَجْزِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسَاءُوا بِمَا عَمِلُوا وَيَجْزِيَ الَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا بِالْحُسْنَى

আৰু আকাশমণ্ডলত যি আছে আৰু পৃথিৱীত যি আছে সকলো আল্লাহৰেই। যাতে তেওঁ সিহঁতৰ কামৰ প্ৰতিফল দিব পাৰে যিসকলে বেয়া কাম কৰে আৰু যাতে সেইসকল লোকক উত্তম পুৰস্কাৰ দিব পাৰে যিসকলে সৎকৰ্ম কৰে,

لَوْ أَرَدْنَا أَنْ نَتَّخِذَ لَهْوًا لَاتَّخَذْنَاهُ مِنْ لَدُنَّا إِنْ كُنَّا فَاعِلِينَ

খেল-ধেমালিৰ বস্তু সৃষ্টি কৰাই যদি আমাৰ অভিপ্ৰায় হ’লেহেঁতেন, তেন্তে আমি সেয়া আমাৰ পৰাই কৰিলোহেঁতেন; কিন্তু আমি সেয়া কৰা নাই।

بَلْ نَقْذِفُ بِالْحَقِّ عَلَى الْبَاطِلِ فَيَدْمَغُهُ فَإِذَا هُوَ زَاهِقٌ ۚ وَلَكُمُ الْوَيْلُ مِمَّا تَصِفُونَ

বৰং আমি সত্যৰ দ্বাৰা অসত্যক আঘাত কৰোঁ, ফলত ই অসত্যক চূৰ্ণ-বিচূৰ্ণ কৰি দিয়ে আৰু তৎক্ষণাৎ অসত্য নিচিহ্ন হৈ যায়, আৰু তোমালোকে আল্লাহক যি গুণেৰে* আখ্যায়িত কৰিছা সেয়ে তোমালোকৰ বাবে আছে দুৰ্ভোগ!

وَجَعَلُوا لِلَّهِ شُرَكَاءَ الْجِنَّ وَخَلَقَهُمْ ۖ وَخَرَقُوا لَهُ بَنِينَ وَبَنَاتٍ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ ۚ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

আৰু সিহঁতে জ্বিনক আল্লাহৰ সৈতে শ্বৰীক সাব্যস্ত কৰে, অথচ তেৱেঁই এইবোৰক সৃষ্টি কৰিছে; আৰু সিহঁতে অজ্ঞতাবশতঃ আল্লাহৰ প্ৰতি পুত্ৰ-কন্যা আৰোপ কৰে; তেওঁ পৱিত্ৰ মহিমান্বিত আৰু সিহঁতে যি কয় তেওঁ তাৰ পৰা বহু ঊৰ্দ্ধত।

🟢২১:১৯(God has no Partner in His Dominion).

وَلَهُ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ وَمَنْ عِنْدَهُ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِهِ وَلَا يَسْتَحْسِرُونَ

আকাশসমূহ আৰু পৃথিৱীত যি আছে সেই সকলো তেওঁৰেই; আৰু তেওঁৰ সান্নিধ্যত যিসকল আছে তেওঁলোকে অহংকাৰ কৰি তেওঁৰ ইবাদতৰ পৰা বিমুখ নহয় আৰু বিৰক্তিবোধো নকৰে।

According to the classical commentators, this refers to the angels; but it is possible to understand the expression ''those who are with Him" in a wider sense, comprising not only the angels but also all human beings who are truly God-conscious and wholly dedicated to Him. In either case, their "being with Him" is a metaphorical indication of their spiritual eminence and place of honour in God's sight, and does not bear any spatial connotation of "nearness" : obviously so, because God is limitless in space as well as in time. الَّذِينَ يَحْمِلُونَ الْعَرْشَ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهُ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَيُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا رَبَّنَا وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ رَحْمَةً وَعِلْمًا فَاغْفِرْ لِلَّذِينَ تَابُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا سَبِيلَكَ وَقِهِمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ

يُسَبِّحُونَ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ لَا يَفْتُرُونَ

তেওঁলোকে দিনে-ৰাতি তেওঁৰেই পৱিত্ৰতা আৰু মহিমা ঘোষণা কৰে, তেওঁলোক ক্লান্তও নহয়।

How can people glorify God? Glorification, as this verse shows, is through good works 

underpinned by Quranic values. Willingly following and implementing His guidance is the best way 

to glorify and honour God. The more we accept Permanent Values that are self-imposed, the 

more free we are. This is why there is freedom of belief in the Quran. It is the commitment to 

these values that develop the Self. See verse 2:30.sig.

أَمِ اتَّخَذُوا آلِهَةً مِنَ الْأَرْضِ هُمْ يُنْشِرُونَ

সিহঁতে (কাফিৰসকলে) পৃথিৱীৰ পৰা যিবোৰক উপাস্য হিচাপে গ্ৰহণ কৰিছে সেইবোৰে কোনো মৃতক জীৱিত কৰিবলৈ সক্ষম নে?

21:21 Or, have they chosen gods from the earth that can revive them to glory?

The Supreme Creator must be the law-giving Authority to mankind as He is in the entire Universe. 23:84, 29:60, 31:25, 39:38, 43:9(sa)

21:21. (These people also accept that the universe has been created by Allah and is in operation according to His Laws 

~ 23:84-85; 29:60-62; 31:25; 39:38; 43:9. However they are not ready to admit that their own socio-economic system and 

life should also be subordinated to His Laws.) They carve separate deities for their earthly affairs (thinking that lives should 

be governed by their own or other man-made Laws) and believe that they should progress and flourish accordingly. (In 

short, they profess that there should be two different Ilahas; one for the outer universe and the other for life on earth. 

God should rule the physical world and earth should be ruled by man. What a terrible mistake they are committing!)pz.

لَوْ كَانَ فِيهِمَا آلِهَةٌ إِلَّا اللَّهُ لَفَسَدَتَا ۚ فَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

যদি এই দুয়োৰে (আকাশ আৰু পৃথিৱীৰ) মাজত আল্লাহৰ বাহিৰে বহু ইলাহ থাকিলহেঁতেন, তেন্তে উভয়েই বিশৃংখল হৈ গ’লহেঁতেন। এতেকে সিহঁতে যি বৰ্ণনা কৰে তাৰ পৰা আৰছৰ অধিপতি আল্লাহ অতি পৱিত্ৰ।

21:22. If there had been a sovereign other than Allah (meaning that Divine Laws were in force in one sphere while laws 

by other authorities were being obeyed in another) the entire system of the universe would have run into chaos. Allah, Who 

is the Supreme Authority, has kept in His own hands the central control of the universal Nizam-e-Rabubiat. He is far 

above what human beings may devise about Him in their own minds (6:3; 16:51; 39:67; 43:84).pz.

তেওঁ যি কৰে সেই বিষয়ে তেওঁ জবাবদিহি নহ’ব; বৰং সিহঁতকেই প্ৰশ্ন কৰা হ’ব।

أَمِ اتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِهِ آلِهَةً ۖ قُلْ هَاتُوا بُرْهَانَكُمْ ۖ هَٰذَا ذِكْرُ مَنْ مَعِيَ وَذِكْرُ مَنْ قَبْلِي ۗ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ الْحَقَّ ۖ فَهُمْ مُعْرِضُونَ

সিহঁতে তেওঁৰ বাহিৰে বহু ইলাহ গ্ৰহণ কৰিছে নেকি? কোৱা, ‘তোমালোকৰ প্ৰমাণ লৈ আহা। মোৰ লগত যি আছে এইটোৱে তাৰ উপদেশ আৰু এইটোৱে উপদেশ আছিল মোৰ পূৰ্বৱৰ্তীসকলৰ’। কিন্তু সিহঁতৰ বেছি ভাগেই প্ৰকৃত সত্য নাজানে; ফলত সিহঁতে মুখ ঘূৰাই লয়।

21:24. (Inspite of such sound arguments) These people have chosen other rulers, instead of Him? Ask them to produce 

arguments in support of their stand. (They will certainly be unable to bring any argument in their support ~ 23:117.)

 Tell them that, “My people are with me for the manifesto which I present; as was the case of other people (Anbia

and their companions) before me. This is a source of exaltation for these people, just as it was for those before them. 

These opponents do not know the facts and are therefore avoiding this manifesto which is based on truth and reality. (They 

are either doing so under the influence of their emotions; or they are simply blindly following their ancestors.)pz.

(২৩:১১৭

وَمَنْ يَدْعُ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا آخَرَ لَا بُرْهَانَ لَهُ بِهِ فَإِنَّمَا حِسَابُهُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِ ۚ إِنَّهُ لَا يُفْلِحُ الْكَافِرُونَ

আৰু যিয়ে আল্লাহৰ লগতে আন কোনো উপাস্যক আহ্বান কৰে, যি বিষয়ে তাৰ ওচৰত কোনো প্ৰমাণ নাই, তাৰ হিচাপ-নিকাচ কেৱল তাৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ ওচৰত, নিশ্চয় কাফিৰসকল সফল হ’ব নোৱাৰিব।)

وَقَالُوا اتَّخَذَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ وَلَدًا ۗ سُبْحَانَهُ ۚ بَلْ عِبَادٌ مُكْرَمُونَ

আৰু সিহঁতে কয়, ‘ৰহমানে (আল্লাহে) সন্তান গ্ৰহণ কৰিছে’। তেওঁ পৱিত্ৰ মহান! বৰং তেওঁলোক তেওঁৰ সন্মানিত বান্দা।

وَمَا يَنْبَغِي لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا

অথচ সন্তান গ্ৰহণ কৰা ৰহমানৰ বাবে শোভনীয় নহয়।

لَا يَسْبِقُونَهُ بِالْقَوْلِ وَهُمْ بِأَمْرِهِ يَعْمَلُونَ

তেওঁলোকে তেওঁৰ আগধৰি নামাতে*; তেওঁলোকে কেৱল তেওঁৰ আদেশ অনুসাৰেই কাম কৰে।

২৮:৫১

۞ وَلَقَدْ وَصَّلْنَا لَهُمُ الْقَوْلَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ

আৰু অৱশ্যে আমি সিহঁতৰ ওচৰত এটাৰ পিছত এটাকৈ বাণী পৌঁচাই দিছো; যাতে সিহঁতে উপদেশ গ্ৰহণ কৰে।

يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلَا يَشْفَعُونَ إِلَّا لِمَنِ ارْتَضَىٰ وَهُمْ مِنْ خَشْيَتِهِ مُشْفِقُونَ

তেওঁলোকৰ সন্মুখত আৰু পিছত যি আছে সেই সকলো তেওঁ জানে। আৰু তেওঁলোকে ছুপাৰিছ কৰে কেৱল সিহঁতৰ বাবেই যিসকলৰ প্ৰতি তেওঁ সন্তুষ্ট* আৰু তেওঁলোকে তেওঁৰ ভয়ত ভীত সন্ত্ৰস্ত।

يَوْمَئِذٍ لَا تَنْفَعُ الشَّفَاعَةُ إِلَّا مَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ الرَّحْمَٰنُ وَرَضِيَ لَهُ قَوْلًا

21:28. (This is also not the case in which their outward behaviour does not reflect the different views which they hold 

inside their hearts.) Allah is fully aware of their circumstances and conditions with regard to their past (and present), as well 

as the future. Nobody except those whose actions are in conformity with the Divine Laws enjoys his corroboration 

and support. They in fact are afraid of the consequences of defying Divine Laws (6:15).pz.

(৬:১৫

قُلْ إِنِّي أَخَافُ إِنْ عَصَيْتُ رَبِّي عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ

কোৱা, ‘মই যদি মোৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ অবাধ্যতা কৰো, তেন্তে নিশ্চয় মই মহা দিৱসৰ শাস্তিৰ পৰা ভয় কৰো’।)

۞ وَمَنْ يَقُلْ مِنْهُمْ إِنِّي إِلَٰهٌ مِنْ دُونِهِ فَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِيهِ جَهَنَّمَ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الظَّالِمِينَ

আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ মাজত যিয়ে ক’ব, ‘আল্লাহৰ বাহিৰে ময়েই ইলাহ’, তাক আমি জাহান্নামৰ শাস্তিৰ প্ৰতিদান দিম; এইদৰেই আমি যালিমসকলক প্ৰতিদান দিওঁ।

وَإِذْ قَالَ اللَّهُ يَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ أَأَنْتَ قُلْتَ لِلنَّاسِ اتَّخِذُونِي وَأُمِّيَ إِلَٰهَيْنِ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ ۖ قَالَ سُبْحَانَكَ مَا يَكُونُ لِي أَنْ أَقُولَ مَا لَيْسَ لِي بِحَقٍّ ۚ إِنْ كُنْتُ قُلْتُهُ فَقَدْ عَلِمْتَهُ ۚ تَعْلَمُ مَا فِي نَفْسِي وَلَا أَعْلَمُ مَا فِي نَفْسِكَ ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوبِ

আৰু স্মৰণ কৰা, আল্লাহে যেতিয়া ক’ব, ‘হে মাৰইয়ামৰ পুত্ৰ ঈছা! তুমি মানুহক এই কথা কৈছিলা নেকি যে, তোমালোকে আল্লাহৰ বাহিৰে মোক আৰু মোৰ মাকক উপাস্যৰূপে গ্ৰহণ কৰা? তেওঁ ক’ব, ‘তুমি মহিমান্বিত! যিটো কোৱাৰ অধিকাৰ মোৰ নাই সেইটো কোৱা মোৰ পক্ষে কেতিয়াও শোভনীয় নহয়। যদি মই এনেকৈ ক’লোহেঁতেন তেন্তে তুমিতো সেয়া জানিলাহেঁতেন। মোৰ অন্তৰৰ কথাতো তুমি জানা, কিন্তু তোমাৰ অন্তৰৰ কথা মই নাজানো, নিশ্চয় তুমি অদৃশ্য সম্পৰ্কে সৰ্বজ্ঞানী’।

21:29. (None of them can claim that he is also an Ilaha ~ 3:78.) If (for the sake of argument) anyone of them ever claims 

that beides Him, he is also an Ilah (that he also wields the same authority as that of Allah), then We will send him to 

Jahanum, in the same way we requite other zalimeen.pz.

🟪WORD BY WORD MEANING:

[21:15] And (Fa) these (Til'ka) allegation of theirs (Da'waa-hum’) did not (Maa) cease (Zaalati-) until 

(Hattaa) We rendered them (Jaål'naa-hum) as a dead (Khaamidiin) crop (Hasiidan).

[21:16] And (Wa) We did not (Maa) create (Khalaq'naa) the heaven (Es'Samaa'a) and the earth (Wal' Ar'do)

and whatever (Wamaa) is between them (Bai'nahuma) to play (Laaebiin).

[21:17] If (Law') We had (Nattakhiza) intended (Arad'naa) to (An) play (Lah'wan), We could have (La) had it 

(Ettakhaz'naa-hu) with Us (Min Ladunnaa), if (In) were (Kunna) to do (Faaeliin). 

[21:18] In fact (Bal'), We pelt (Naq'zifu Ålaa) falsehood (El'Baatili) with the truth (Bil' Haqqi), and (Fa) it (the 

truth) refutes it (Yad'magu-hu) and (Fa) then (Izaa) it becomes falsity (untrue) (Zaahiqun). And (Wa) for you (p)

(Lakum) is the distress (El'Wai'lu) of what (Mimmaa) you describe (Tasifuun).

[21:19] And (Wa) to HIM belongs (Lahu) whoever (Man) is in (Fii) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the 

earth (Wal' Ar'di). And those (Waman') with HIM (Endahu) are not (Laa) arrogant (Yas'tak'biruuna) from 

(Ån) worshipping HIM (Ebaadati-hi), nor (Walaa) do they get tired (Yas'tah'siruun);

[21:20] they (the Angels) glorify (Yusabbihuuna) night (Ellai'la) and (Wa) day (En'Nahaara), they do not (Laa)

slack (Yaf'turuun).

[21:21] Or (Ami) do they have (Ettakhazuu') gods (Aalihatan) from (Mina) the earth (El'Ar'di) who (Hum)

can resurrect (Yunshiruun)?

[21:22] Had there been (Law' Kaana) gods (Aalihatun) in them (heaven & earth) (Fiihimaa) besides (illa) GOD 

(Ellahu), they would have been (La) corrupted (Fasadata). So (Fa) glory be to GOD (Sub'haana-llahi), LORD 

(Rabbi) of the Throne (El'År'shi), above what (Åmmaa) they describe (Yasifuun).

[21:23] HE (God) will not (Laa) be questioned (Yus'alu) about what (Åmmaa) HE does (Yaf'ålu), but (Wa) they 

(the idols) (Hum') will be questioned (Yus'aluun).

[21:24] Or (Ami) do they have (Ettakhazu') gods (Aalihatan) besides HIM (Min Duuni-hi)? Say (Qul'): "Bring 

(Haatu') your proof (Bur'haana-kum). This (Haaza) is a remembrance (Zik'ru) for those (Man) with me 

(Maeya) and (Wa) a remembrance (Zik'ru) for those (Man) before me (Qab'lii)." In fact (Bal'), most of them 

(Ak'tharu-hum) do not (Laa) know (Ya'lamuuna) the truth (43:78) (El'Haqqa); so (Fa) they (Hum) are avoiding 

(Mu'riduun).

[21:25] And (Wa) We did not (Maa) send (Ar'sal'naa) any (Min) messenger (Rasuulin) before you (s)

(Min

Qab'li-ka) except (illa) We inspired to him (Nuuhii ilai'hi) that (Annahu), "There is no god (Laa ilaaha)

except (illaa) ME (Ana'); So (Fa) worship ME (E'buduuni)."

[21:26] And (Wa) they say (Qaalu'), "The GRACIOUS (Er' Rah'maanu) has (Ettakhaza) a son (Waladan)." 

Glory be to HIM (Sub'haana-hu)! Rather (Bal'), they are honourable (Muk'ramuun) servants (Ebaadun). 

[21:27] They (the messengers)

do not (Laa) precede HIM (Yas'biquuna-hu) in (Bi) word (28:51) (El'Qaw'li), but (Wa)

they (Hum) act (Ya'maluun) by (Bi) HIS command (Am'ri-hi). 

[21:28] HE knows (Ya'lamu) what (Maa) is before them (Bai'na Ai'dii-him) and what (Wamaa) is behind 

them (Khal'fahum), and they (the messengers) cannot (Walaa) intercede (Yash'fauuna) except (illa) for those 

(Limani) HE approves (20:109) (Er'tadoa). And (Wa) they (Hum) are fearful (Mush'fiquun) from (Min') fear of 

HIM (Khash'yati-hi).

[21:29] And (Wa) whoever (Man) among them (the messengers) (Min'hum) should say (Yaqul'), "I am (Innii) a 

god (ilaahun) besides HIM (Min Duuni-hi),” then (Fa) for that (Zaalika) We would requite him (Naj'zii-hi)

with Hell (Jahannama). Thus (Kazaalika) do We requite (Naj'zii) the transgressors (Ez'Zoalimiin).
