✍️Verse/ref:
20:103 whispering unto one another, "You have spent but ten [days on earth].

Note.
As in several other places in the Qur'an (e.g., in 2:259, 17:52, 18:19, 23:112, 30:55, 79:46, etc.), this and the next verse touch upon the illusory character of man's consciousness of "time" and, thus, upon the relativity of the concept of "time" as such. The number "ten" is often used in Arabic to denote "a few"(as).

✍️Verse/Note:
20:107 [so that] thou wilt see no curve thereon, and no ruggedness.

Note:
In the eschatology of the Qur'an, the "end of the world" does not signify an annihilation i.e., reduction to nothingness-of the physical universe but, rather, its fundamental, cataclysmic transformation into something that men cannot now visualize. This is brought out in many allegorical allusions to the Last Day, e.g., in 14:48, which speaks of "the Day when the earth shall be changed into another earth, as shall be the heavens".(sa).

✍️Note on INTERCESSION (Part)-raf:
They (messengers of God) do not intercede except for those whom He is pleased with, and they are apprehensive out of fear of Him. 21:28 (also 53:26).

These words state categorically that even the messengers of God do not have the authority to intercede except for "those whom He is pleased with" by God.

Needless to say, those whom God is "pleased with", and thus already redeemed by God, would not be in need of any intercession.

Everyone in Paradise will probably try to intercede on behalf of his/her loved ones: "Please God, admit my mother into Paradise." If the person's mother deserves to go to Paradise, and is approved by God, she will be in Paradise whether her loved ones interceded for her or not. Thus, intercession, though it will take place in this manner, will be utterly useless.

This is confirmed in the following words:

On that Day, intercession will benefit no one except the one who has been permitted by the Almighty and whose utterance is accepted by Him. 20:109

Just like in 21:28, the words in 20:109 tell us is that the ones who will have any benefit are in fact the ones who are already approved by God to be pardoned. Their benefit is a result of God's mercy and not a benefit of human intercession. This confirms that even though intercession will take place, it can never change God's Judgement nor benefit anyone who is not pardoned by God. Intercession will be nothing more than a good word said in favour of other believers who are also redeemed. The misunderstanding regarding the following verses is thus resolved: 2:255, 10:3, 20:109, 19:85-87, 21:25-29, 34:23, 43:86, 53:26.

20:114. Likewise these people should observe with reason and conviction that, in
reality, supremacy is achieved by being firmly attached to the Divine Laws. This is
because these Laws are given by the ultimate sovereign and master. And while
implementing the Quranic system, O Rasool, do not be in haste and wait until the full
text of Wahi in respect of that matter is revealed to you. Wait until your knowledge
is further increased (and only then you should take the next step ~ 75:16).

✍️Verse/ref:
20:115. (It is dangerous to follow one's instincts without receiving guidance from
Wahi or to ignore it after it has been acquired. This has been earlier explained in the Quran in an allegorical manner, when narrating the story of Adam. As has been
explained there, the story of Adam is not that of an individual. It is in fact the story of
mankind ~ 2:30-38; 7:11-25.) Earlier We had commanded Adam (mankind) not to
lose sight of the guidance revealed in Wahi, but he disregarded it. In fact we did not
find him resolute. (That he generally lacks firmness in his resolutions is the
fundamental weak point in a human being. And this weakness can be overcome by
believing in the Divine Laws.)

🎁WORD BY WORD MEANING:
[20:98] "Your (-kumu) only (Innamaa) god (ilaahu-) is the GOD (Ellahu); whom (Ellazii) there is no god (Laa ilaaha) except (illa) HIM (Huwa). And (Wa) HE has encompassed (WasiÃĨ) all (Kulla) things (Shai'in) in
knowledge (il'maa)."
[20:99] We thus (Kazaalika) narrate (-Naqussu) to you (s)(Ålai'ka) from (Min') the news (Anbaai) of what (Maa) had (Qad') preceded (Sabaqa). And (Wa) We have (Qad’) given you (s) (Aatai'naa-ka) a remembrance
(38:1) (Zik'raa) from Us (Min Ladunnaa).
[20:100] Whoever (Man') turns away from it (A'rada Ån'hu), then (Fa) indeed, he (Innahu) will bear (Yah'milu) a burden (Wiz'raa) on the Day of Resurrection (Yaw'mal' Qiyaamati).
[20:101] They will be therein (Fiihi) eternally (Khaalidiina), and (Wa) evil (Saa'a)
it is for them (Lahum') on
the Day of Resurrection (Yaw'mal' Qiyaamati) as a load (Him'laa);
[20:102] the day (Yaw'ma) the horn (Es'Suuri) will be blown (Yunfakhu Fii), and (Wa) We will assemble
(Nah'shuru) the criminals (El'Muj'rimiina) on that day (Yaw'maizin), blue in colour (Zur'qaa).
[20:103] They will be talking privately (Yatakhaafatuuna) among themselves (Bai'nahum'), "You only (In
illa) lingered (Labith'tum') for ten days (Åsh'raa)!"
[20:104] We (Nah'nu) are aware (A'lamu) of what (Bimaa) they say (Yaquuluuna) when (Iz') the optimal of them (Am'thalu-hum') in way (Tariiqatan) will say (Yaquulu), "You only (In illa) lingered (Labith'tum')for a day (Yaw'maa)."
[20:105] And (Wa) they ask you (s) (Yas'aluunaka) about (Åni) the mountains (El'Jibaali), then (Fa) say (Qul'):
"My LORD (Rabbii) will blow them up (Yansifu-haa) by explosion (Nas'faa).
[20:106] "And (Fa) HE will leave them (Yazaru-haa) as a barren (Sof'sofaa) lowland (Qaa'ÃĨn);
[20:107] neither (Laa) will you see (Taraa) a bend (Ewajan) nor (Walaa) a curve (Am'tan) therein (Fiihaa)."
[20:108] On that day (Yaw'maizin), they (p) will follow (Yattabiuuna) the Caller (54:6) (Ed'Daaeya) without (Laa) a bend (twist) (Ewaja) to him (Lahu), and (Wa) all voices (El'As'waatu) will humble (KhashaÃĨti) before the GRACIOUS (Lir' Rah'maani), then (Fa) you will only (Laa illa) hear (Tas'mau) whispers (Ham'saa).
[20:109] On that day (Yaw'maizin), intercession (2:123) (Es'Shafaa'ÃĨtu) will not (Laa) be useful (benefit) (Tanfau),
except (illa) for (Lahu) whom (Man') the GRACIOUS (Er' Rah'maanu) has permitted (Azina) and (Wa)
approved (Radiya) a speech (Qaw'lan) for him (Lahu).
[20:110] HE (God) knows (Ya'lamu) what (Wa) is before them (Bai'na Ai'dii-him) and what (Wamaa) is
behind them (Khal'fahum'), but (Wa) they do not (Laa) encompass HIM (Yuhiituuna Bihi) in knowledge (il'maa).
[20:111] All faces (El'Wujuuhu) will yield (Ånati) to the LIVING (Lil' Hayyi), the ETERNAL (El' Qayyuumi);
and (Wa) whoever (Man') carries (Hamala) an injustice (Zul'maa) will indeed (Qad') fail (Khaaba).
[20:112] And (Wa) whoever (Man) acts (Ya'mal') of (Mina) good deeds (Es'Soalihaati) while (Wa) being
(Huwa) a believer (Mu'minun), then (Fa) he will not (Laa) fear (Yakhaafu)
any injustice (Zul'man) nor (Walaa)
harm (Had'maa).
[20:113] And (Wa) thus (Kazaalika) We have revealed it (Anzal'naa-hu) as an Arabic (Årabiyyan) reading
(Qur'aanan) and (Wa) have conducted (Sorraf'naa) therein (Fiihi) of (Mina) all threat (El'Waeedi) perhaps
they (LaÃĨllahum) will reverence (Yattaquuna) or (Aw') it would cause (Yuh'dithu) remembrance (Zik'raa) for
them (Lahum).
[20:114] So (Fa) exalted is GOD (Ta'ÃĨÃĨla-llahu), the KING (El' Maliku), the TRUTH (El' Haqqu). And (Wa) do
not (Walaa) hasten (Ta'jal') with (Bi) the Koran (El'Qur'aani) before (Min Qab'li) its inspiration (6:19)(Wah'yu-
hu) is (An) completed (Yuq'daa) to you (s)
(ilai'ka), and say (Qul): "LORD (Rabbi), increase me (Zid'nii) in
knowledge (il'maa)."
[20:115] And (Wa) We certainly (Laqad') made an agreement with (Åhid'naa ilaa) Adam (Aadama) before
(Min Qab'lu), but (Fa) he forgot (Nasiya); and (Wa) We did not (Lam') find (Najid') a determination (Åz'maa)
in him (Lahu).
