[9:122] And (Wa) the believers (El'Mu'minuuna) are (Kaana) not (Maa) to (Li) all (Kaaffa') hasten (Yanfiru');

return (Rajauu') to them (ilai'him) perhaps they (LaÃĨllahum) will be cautious (Yah'zaruun).
.
📍Verse/Note-1
9:122 The believers shall not go to an expedition or mission all together. Of every group of believers, let some of them come forth to gain sound knowledge of Deen (the Qur’anic System of life). Then, upon return, they can warn their people against straying.sa.
.
📍Verse/Note-2
9:122 With all this, it is not desirable that all of the believers take the field [in time of war]. From within every group in their midst, some shall refrain from going forth to war, and shall devote themselves [instead] to acquiring a deeper knowledge of the Faith. and [thus be able to] teach their home-coming brethren, so that these [too] might guard themselves against evil.

Note.
Lit., "admonish their people when they come back to them, so that they might be on their guard". Although the above injunction mentions specifically religious knowledge, it has a positive bearing on every kind of knowledge-and this in view of the fact that the Qur'an does not draw any dividing-line between the spiritual and the worldly concerns of life but, rather, regards them as different aspects of one and the same reality. In many of its verses, the Qur'an calls upon the believer to observe all ✔️nature and to discern God's creative activity in its manifold phenomena and ✔️"laws", as well as to mediate upon the lessons of ✔️history with a view to gaining a deeper insight into man's motivations and the innermost springs of his behaviour: and, thus, the Qur'an itself is characterized as addressed to ✔️"those who think". In short, intellectual activity as such is postulated as a valid way to a better understanding of God's will and - if pursued with moral consciousness-as a valid method of worshipping God.(as).

📍Verse/Note:
9:123 O you who have attained to faith! Fight against those deniers of the truth who are near you, and let them find you adamant ;🍒and know that .God is with those who are conscious of Him.

Note🍒
I.e., uncompromising with regard to ethical principles. For the general circumstances in which fight is permitted, see *2:190, **22:39, ***60:8, and the corresponding notes, as well as notes 7 and 9 on verse 5 of this surah. The reference to "those deniers of the truth who are near you" may arise from the fact that only "those who are near" can be dangerous in a physical sense or, alternatively, that - having come from afar- they have already approached the Muslim country with an aggressive intent(as).

📍Note: Trials: The two verses [9:126-127] state that people are given frequent opportunities in their
lives, but as the saying goes, once in a while everyone gets knocked down by the truth, but most
people get up, dust themselves and walk on as if nothing had ever happened. Repentance: what is
it? See verses 9:112; 68:32.sig

ensured its preservation verbatim. The Quran is in fact, the moral compass for leading a virtuous
life for the welfare and progress of humankind. Living such a life is important because it develops
the Self, the human spirit or personality, making it fit for the next stage in evolution: the life yet to come. While religions and other lifestyles may include some positive moral aspects for a social
order, the Deen-Islam is underpinned by ultimate accountability to the One God. This makes Deen-Islam the perfect system, over and above any other, for those who are concerned for the progress and welfare of individuals and society as a whole. These are the ones who want to
protect themselves from lasting harm and are the true benefactors of humanity.
Why does a person have to do good or be munificent? In all religions and secular systems there
are common ethical values that encourage people to do good. However, it is only good deeds
based on Permanent Values and underpinned by accountability that develop the Self. All religions
are shaped by susceptibilities and prejudices of individuals, their values change with time. While
people can append innovations and fabricated doctrines to Quranic values, laws and decrees, they
can never be part of Deen-Islam. Just as importantly, it is always possible to check back with the
Quran, the original unchanged text, whereas with other systems it may not be feasible.sig.
