[9:111] Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) has bought (Esh'taraa) from (Mina) the believers (El'Mu'miniina) their
souls (Anfusa-hum') and (Wa) their wealth (Am'waala-hum) so that (Bi'anna) they may have (Lahumu)
Paradise (El'Jannata). They fight (Yuqaatiluuna) in (Fii) the way of GOD (Sabiili-llahi), so (Fa) they kill
(Yaq'tuluuna) and (Wa) get killed (Yuq'taluuna).
Such is a true (Haqqan) promise (Wa'dan) from HIM (Ålai'hi)
in (Fii) the Torah 1
(Ettaw'raati), the Gospel 2
(El' Injiili) and the Koran 3
(Wal' Qur'aani). And (Wa) who
(Man') is more fulfilling (Aw'faa) of his agreement (Åh'di-hi) than GOD (Minallahi)? So (Fa) rejoice
(Es'tab'shiru') in (Bi) your transaction (Bai'e-kumu) to (Bihi) which (Ellazii) you have transacted (Baaya'tum).
And (Wa) that (Zaalika) is (Huwa) a great (El'Åziim) achievement (El'Faw'zu).
.
📍Verse/Note-1
THE CONTRACT BETWEEN GOD AND MAN
[9:111] God has bought from the believers their lives and their wealth in
exchange for a life of lasting serenity. Thus, they fight in the cause of God,
willing to kill and get killed. Such is His truthful pledge in the Taurah, the
Injeel and the Quran - and who fulfils His pledge better than God? You shall
rejoice in making such an exchange. This is the greatest triumph.

Note.
The believers, the mu'min, do not fear death when fighting in the cause of God to instate and
maintain order. They willingly risk their lives to ward off insurrection, tyranny, corruption and all
criminal activity to replace fear and turmoil with peace and security. See verse  ✔️3:158;
Aggression is forbidden. See verses  *2:190-194; 4:74-78; 5:87; 7:33(sig).

📍Verse/Note-2:
9:111 God has purchased from the believers their persons and their goods, for (in return) theirs is the Garden. They shall fight in the cause of God, and shall slay and be slain. It is a promise that is binding on Him in the *Torah and the *Gospel, and the Qur’an. Who can fulfill a promise better than God? Rejoice then in the bargain you have made, for that is the Supreme Triumph.

travellers (Es'Saa'ihuuna), those who genuflect (Er'Raaki'uuna), those who prostrate (Es'Saajiduuna), the

good news (Basshiri) to the believers (El'Mu'miniin).
.
📍Note/Verse-1
(9:112) Those who have entered into a transaction with Allah are:
1. They who realizing that they have taken a step in the wrong direction, immediately retreat;
2. Those who, after deep reflection come to the inevitable conclusion that every thing which is
created by Allah, deserves Hamd and also strive to make the Divine Order worthy of that!
3. Those who appreciate the creations of Allah (1/1, 3/190, 41/53);
4. Those who travel abroad in the cause of Allah;
5. Those who bow down and fully surrender before Allah;
6. Those who enjoin what has been declared to be right by the Quran and forbid the opposite;
7. Those who, in short, live within the bounds prescribed by Allah.
 O Rasool convey glad tidings to these Momineen(pz).
.
📍Note/Verse-2
9:112 Triumphant are those who: - Return to the right path and take corrective action as soon as they realize that they have erred. - Obey the commands of God. - Work to manifest the praise of God (for bestowing the most excellent guidance). - Pick up lessons about the history of previous nations whenever they travel. - Are always humble before the Divine System. - Adore and submit to God alone. - Advocate all that is virtuous and discourage all that is vice. - And remain watchful against trespassing the limits set by God. So give the good news to those who have chosen to be graced with belief (that these are the men and women who deserve a most pleasant life in both worlds).

📍Verse/Note-3
THE SINCERE ACCEPT THIS GUIDANCE
[9:112] The believers in this guidance are those who repent. They are the
ones who serve God. Their deeds glorify God. They are humble and
concede most readily to His guidance. They advocate good works and
forbid all things evil and they keep within the limits imposed by God. Give
good news to such believers in whose hearts there is integrity and
conviction.

Note.
Believers are those who not only profess to accept this guidance from God, but actively
implement it completely and fully in their lives. They do this first by repenting. What is repentance?
Repentance takes place when regressive actions are replaced by virtuous deeds, only good works
nullify the bad works. When a person has strayed off the balanced path and realises it, reappraises
the situation and moves forward in the right direction, this is repentance. Contrition just before
death is of no value because the Self develops through good deeds and death may take away the
time needed for the reparation period. Furthermore, repentance is not a passive act of regret.
Repentance means not to succumb to unrestrained grief, but to resolutely hasten back to the starting
point and choose the correct path. The individual who has realised his mistake should be eager to
rectify it and repair the damage done. Repentance, therefore, is positive effort at restoration of the
lost position. See verses 2:152; 10:90; 66:8; Repentance: See verse 66:8; 68:32 and also verses 3:89-
90; 4:17; 4:146; 5:34; 5:39; 5:74; 6:54; 7:143; 7;153; 9:3-5, 9:11; 9:74; 9:104; 9:112; 9:118; 9:126;

📍Verse/Note:
ABRAHAM'S CONFLICT WITH HIS FATHER
[9:113] It is not acceptable for the messenger nor those who believe to ask
protection for the mushrikeen: those who set up authorities to equal God, even if they were their nearest of kin once they realise that they have fallen
for a life leading to hell.

Note.
Mushrikeen: (mushrik. sing.) Traitors. Those who commit treachery and set up or accept any
authority to rival or rank with God. See verses  9:4. As this verse clearly shows,
supplications and sympathy for disbelievers is not permitted. See verses 9:3-12; 9:80-84 and 5:54;
9:73; 9:122; 48:29. What is repentance? See verses 9:112; 68:32(sig).
