🟤১৮:২৯(Absolute Freedom of Religion).

وَقُلِ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ ۖ فَمَنْ شَاءَ فَلْيُؤْمِنْ وَمَنْ شَاءَ فَلْيَكْفُرْ ۚ إِنَّا أَعْتَدْنَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ نَارًا أَحَاطَ بِهِمْ سُرَادِقُهَا ۚ وَإِنْ يَسْتَغِيثُوا يُغَاثُوا بِمَاءٍ كَالْمُهْلِ يَشْوِي الْوُجُوهَ ۚ بِئْسَ الشَّرَابُ وَسَاءَتْ مُرْتَفَقًا

আৰু কোৱা, ‘সত্য তোমালোকৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ তৰফৰ পৰা (আহিছে), সেয়ে যাৰ ইচ্ছা সি ঈমান আনক আৰু যাৰ ইচ্ছা সি কুফৰী কৰক’। নিশ্চয় আমি যালিমসকলৰ বাবে প্ৰস্তুত কৰি ৰাখিছো অগ্নি, যাৰ প্ৰাচীৰবোৰে সিহঁতক পৰিবেষ্টন কৰি ৰাখিছে। সিহঁতে পানীয় বিচাৰিলে সিহঁতক দিয়া হ’ব গলিত ধাতুৰ দৰে পানীয়, যিয়ে সিহঁতৰ মুখমণ্ডল দগ্ধ কৰিব, এইটো বৰ নিকৃষ্ট পানীয়! আৰু জাহান্নাম কিমান যে নিকৃষ্ট বিশ্ৰামস্থল!

📍Verse/Notes:

18:29 And proclaim, "This is the truth from your Lord. Whoever accepts it let him accept it, and whoever rejects it, let him reject it.” Surely, for all those who wrong their own ‘self’, We have readied billowing folds of fire to surround them. When they beg for water, they will be given their burning hot deeds that backfire on their faces, a drink of distress they gave others. How dreadful a drink! And how terrible a resting place! [9:34-35]

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ إِنَّا لَا نُضِيعُ أَجْرَ مَنْ أَحْسَنَ عَمَلًا

নিশ্চয় যিসকলে ঈমান আনিছে আৰু সৎকৰ্ম কৰিছে – নিশ্চয় আমি উত্তমৰূপে কৰ্ম সম্পাদনকাৰীৰ শ্ৰমফল বিনষ্ট নকৰোঁ।

أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهِمُ الْأَنْهَارُ يُحَلَّوْنَ فِيهَا مِنْ أَسَاوِرَ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَيَلْبَسُونَ ثِيَابًا خُضْرًا مِنْ سُنْدُسٍ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٍ مُتَّكِئِينَ فِيهَا عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ ۚ نِعْمَ الثَّوَابُ وَحَسُنَتْ مُرْتَفَقًا

তেওঁলোকৰ বাবেই আছে স্থায়ী জান্নাত, যাৰ তলত নদীসমূহ প্ৰবাহিত, তাত তেওঁলোকক সোণৰ কংকনেৰে অলংকৃত কৰা হ’ব, তেওঁলোকে পৰিধান কৰিব সূক্ষ্ম আৰু মিহি ৰেছমৰ সেউজীয়া বস্ত্ৰ, আৰু তেওঁলোকে তাত সুসজ্জিত আসনত আউজি বহিব, কিমান যে ধুনীয়া পুৰস্কাৰ আৰু উত্তম বিশ্ৰামস্থল!

🟤১৮:৩২(Idolizing One's Wealth).

۞ وَاضْرِبْ لَهُمْ مَثَلًا رَجُلَيْنِ جَعَلْنَا لِأَحَدِهِمَا جَنَّتَيْنِ مِنْ أَعْنَابٍ وَحَفَفْنَاهُمَا بِنَخْلٍ وَجَعَلْنَا بَيْنَهُمَا زَرْعًا

আৰু তুমি সিহঁতৰ বাবে এটা দৃষ্টান্ত দাঙি ধৰা, দুজন ব্যক্তি আছিল, সিহঁতৰ এজনক আমি প্ৰদান কৰিছিলো দুখন আঙুৰৰ বাগিচা আৰু দুয়োখনকে আমি খেজুৰ গছেৰে পৰিবেষ্টিত কৰিছিলো আৰু দুয়োখনৰে মধ্যৱৰ্তী স্থানত ৰাখিছিলো শস্যক্ষেত্ৰ।

🟤১৮:৩৩

كِلْتَا الْجَنَّتَيْنِ آتَتْ أُكُلَهَا وَلَمْ تَظْلِمْ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا ۚ وَفَجَّرْنَا خِلَالَهُمَا نَهَرًا

উভয় উদ্যানে ফল দান কৰিছিল আৰু তাত কোনো ত্ৰুটি কৰা নাছিল আৰু আমি উভয় উদ্যানৰ মাজেৰে প্ৰবাহিত কৰিছিলো এটা নিজৰা।

🟤১৮:৩৪

وَكَانَ لَهُ ثَمَرٌ فَقَالَ لِصَاحِبِهِ وَهُوَ يُحَاوِرُهُ أَنَا أَكْثَرُ مِنْكَ مَالًا وَأَعَزُّ نَفَرًا

আৰু তাৰ প্ৰচুৰ ফল-সম্পদ আছিল। তাৰ পিছত কথা প্ৰসঙ্গত সি তাৰ বন্ধুক ক’লে, ‘তোমাতকৈ মোৰ ধন-সম্পদ বেছি আৰু জনবলতো মই তোমাতকৈ শক্তিশালী’।

🟤১৮:৩৫

وَدَخَلَ جَنَّتَهُ وَهُوَ ظَالِمٌ لِنَفْسِهِ قَالَ مَا أَظُنُّ أَنْ تَبِيدَ هَٰذِهِ أَبَدًا

আৰু সি অহংকাৰ কৰি তাৰ উদ্যানত প্ৰৱেশ কৰিলে। সি ক’লে, ‘এইখন কেতিয়াবা ধ্বংস হ’ব বুলি মোৰ ধাৰণা নহয়;

📍Verse/Note:

(18:35-36) (His friend used to say to him not to be proud and unmindful of the laws of Allah, but he 

would not take this seriously.) Offended by what his friend said, he entered his garden and said to 

himself I do not think that this garden will ever perish nor that the Day of Reckoning about which 

my friend speaks so often will ever come, and even if this happens, I have so managed [*1] that 

over there I shall have a better abode than this.pz.

🟤১৮:৩৬

وَمَا أَظُنُّ السَّاعَةَ قَائِمَةً وَلَئِنْ رُدِدْتُ إِلَىٰ رَبِّي لَأَجِدَنَّ خَيْرًا مِنْهَا مُنْقَلَبًا

‘আৰু কিয়ামত সংঘটিত হ’ব বুলিও মোৰ ধাৰণা নহয়, আৰু মোক যদি মোৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ ওচৰত ওভোতাই নিয়া হয়, তেন্তে নিশ্চয় মই ইয়াতকৈও উৎকৃষ্ট(*1) প্ৰত্যাৱৰ্তনস্থল পাম’।

[(*1)The rich people are made to believe that by spending paltry amount on charity and religious 

purposes they will enter Jannat irrespective of how they have amassed their wealth.-ধনী ব্যক্তিসকলে বিশ্বাস কৰেযে দাতব্য আৰু ধর্মীয় কামত যথেষ্ট পৰিমাণ খৰচ কৰিছে,

ভাৱেযে তেওঁলোকে সম্পদ যিভাবেই আহৰণ নকৰক কিয় তেওঁলোক জান্নাতত প্রবেশ কৰিবই।😆।]

🟤১৮:৩৭

قَالَ لَهُ صَاحِبُهُ وَهُوَ يُحَاوِرُهُ أَكَفَرْتَ بِالَّذِي خَلَقَكَ مِنْ تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ سَوَّاكَ رَجُلًا

ইয়াৰ উত্তৰত তাৰ বন্ধুজনে বিতৰ্কমূলকভাৱে তাক ক’লে, ‘তুমি সেই সত্তাৰ লগত কুফৰী কৰিছা নেকি, যিজনে তোমাক সৃষ্টি কৰিছে মাটিৰ পৰা আৰু তাৰ পিছত বীৰ্যৰ পৰা আৰু তাৰ পিছত তোমাক পুৰ্ণাংঙ্গ পুৰুষ আকৃতি দান কৰিছে’?

📍Verse/Note:

(18:37-38) When his friend came to know about such ideas of his, he said: Do you deny that law of 

Mukaf at of that Allah who initiated your creation by clay, then by a life-germ and finally gave you 

full form of man? Do you, notwithstanding all this, still think that what you have is the result of 

your merit and efforts (28/78) and has nothing to do with Allah s laws? You may deny these facts 

but I have firm belief that whatever I got is through Allah law of Rabubiyyat to whom I do not set up any peers (56/63-73).pz.

18:37 And his friend answered him in the course of their argument: "Wilt thou blaspheme against Him who has created thee out of dust,* and then out of a drop of sperm, and in the end has fashioned thee into a [complete] man?

وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ مِنْ سُلَالَةٍ مِنْ طِينٍ

অৱশ্যে আমি মানুহক সৃষ্টি কৰিছো মাটিৰ উপাদানৰ পৰা)

🟤১৮:৩৮

لَٰكِنَّا هُوَ اللَّهُ رَبِّي وَلَا أُشْرِكُ بِرَبِّي أَحَدًا

‘কিন্তু তেৱেঁই আল্লাহ, মোৰ ৰব; আৰু মই মোৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ লগত কাকো(anyone or "anything") অংশী নকৰো’।

📍Verse/Note:

18:38 But as for myself, [I. know that] He is God, my Sustainer; and I cannot attribute divine powers to any but my Sustainer."

Note.

Lit., "I shall not for "do not"] associate anyone [or "anything"] with my Sustainer" - i.e., "I cannot associate in my mind wealth or poverty with any power or creative cause other than Him"(as).

وَلَوْلَا إِذْ دَخَلْتَ جَنَّتَكَ قُلْتَ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ ۚ إِنْ تَرَنِ أَنَا أَقَلَّ مِنْكَ مَالًا وَوَلَدًا

‘তুমি যেতিয়া তোমাৰ উদ্যানত প্ৰৱেশ কৰিলা তেতিয়া তুমি কিয় এইদৰে কোৱা নাছিলা যে, আল্লাহে যিটো বিচাৰে সেইটোৱেই হয়, আল্লাহৰ সহায় অবিহনে কোনো শক্তি নাই? যদি তুমি তোমাৰ ধন-সম্পত্তি আৰু সন্তান-সন্ততিৰ ক্ষেত্ৰত মোক হীন বুলি ধাৰণা কৰা,

18:39 And [he continued:] "Alas,* if thou hadst but said, on entering thy garden, `Whatever God wills [shall come to pass, for] there is no power save with God!' Although, as thou seest, I have less wealth and offspring than thou,

فَلَوْلَا كَانَتْ قَرْيَةٌ آمَنَتْ فَنَفَعَهَا إِيمَانُهَا إِلَّا قَوْمَ يُونُسَ لَمَّا آمَنُوا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمْ عَذَابَ الْخِزْيِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَمَتَّعْنَاهُمْ إِلَىٰ حِينٍ

এতেকে কোনো এটা জনপদবাসী কিয় এনেকুৱা নহ’ল যিসকলে ঈমান আনিলে হয় আৰু সিহঁতৰ ঈমান সিহঁতৰ উপকাৰত আহিলেহেঁতেন? কিন্তু ইউনুছৰ সম্প্ৰদায়ৰ বাহিৰে, সিহঁতে যেতিয়া ঈমান আনিলে তেতিয়া আমি সিহঁতৰ পৰা পাৰ্থিৱ জীৱনৰ লাঞ্ছনামূলক শাস্তি দূৰ কৰিলো আৰু সিহঁতক কিছু সময়ৰ বাবে জীৱনোপভোগ কৰিবলৈ দিলো।

🟤১৮:৪০

فَعَسَىٰ رَبِّي أَنْ يُؤْتِيَنِ خَيْرًا مِنْ جَنَّتِكَ وَيُرْسِلَ عَلَيْهَا حُسْبَانًا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فَتُصْبِحَ صَعِيدًا زَلَقًا

‘তথাপিও এয়া অসম্ভৱ নহয় যে, হয়তো মোৰ প্ৰতিপালকে মোক তোমাৰ উদ্যানতকৈ উৎকৃষ্ট কিবা দান কৰিব আৰু তোমাৰ উদ্যানত আকাশৰ পৰা নিৰ্ধাৰিত বিপৰ্যয় পঠাব, যাৰ ফলত ই উদ্ভিদশূন্য পথাৰত পৰিণত হ’ব।

📍Verse:

18:40 He said, “So my Lord may grant me something better than your garden. (The luxuries of this life are bound to vanish.) He may send a calamity from heaven to wipe out this garden, leaving it a heap of barren dust.”(sa).

🟨WORD BY WORD MEANING:

[18:29] And (Wa) say (Quli): "The truth (El'Haqqu) is from (Min) your LORD (Rabbi-kum); so (Fa) whoever 

(Man) wills (Shaa'a) then let (Fal') him believe (Yu'min), and (Wa) whoever wills (Shaa'a) then let (Fal') him 

disbelieve (Yak'fur)." Indeed (Innaa), We have prepared (A'tad'naa) for the transgressors (Liz' Zoalimiina) a 

fire (Naaran) whose canopy (Suraadiqu-ha) will encompass them (Ahaato Bi-him’). And (Wa) if (In) they 

ask for help (Yas'tagiithu'), they will be helped (Yugaathu') with (Bi) water (Maain) like (Ka) molten brass

(El'Muh'li),

which scalps (Yash'wii) the faces (El'Wujuuha). Wretched (Bi'sa) is the drink (Es'Sharaabu) and 

(Wa) evil (Saa'at’) is the support (Mur'tafaqaa). 

[18:30] Indeed (Inna), those who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu') and (Wa) do (Åmilu') good deeds 

(Es'Soalihaati); indeed (Innaa), We will not (Laa) waste (Nudii’u) the reward (Aj'ra) of those who (Man') did

well (Ah'sana) in deed (Åmalaa).

[18:31] Those (U'laaika) will have (Lahum) gardens (Jannaatu) of Eden (Åd'nin); rivers (El'An'haaru) will 

flow (Taj'rii) beneath them (Min Tah'ti-him). They will be adorned (Yuhallaw'na) with (Min') bracelets 

(Asaawira) of (Min) gold (Zahabin) therein (Fiiha) and (Wa) they will wear (Yal'basuuna) green (Khud'ran)

garments (Thiyaaban) of (Min) silk (Sundusin) and (Wa) brocade (Is'tab'raqin), resting (Muttaki'iina) on 

(Ålaa) couches (El'Araa'iki) therein (Fiiha). Wonderful (Ni'ma) is the reward (Etthawaabu) and (Wa) good 

(Hasunat’) is the support (Mur'tafaqaa). 

[18:32] And (Wa) cite (Ed'rib') for them (Lahum) the example (Mathalan) of two men (Rajulai'ni), "We 

allocated (Jaål'naa) two gardens (Jannatai'ni) of (Min') grapes (A'naabin) to (Li) one of them (Ahadi-humaa), 

and (Wa) We surrounded both (Hafaf'naa-humaa) with (Bi) date palms (Nakh'lin) and (Wa) placed 

(Jaål'naa) vegetation (Zar'å) between both (Bai'nahumaa).

[18:33] Both of (Kil'taa) the two gardens (El'Jannatai'ni) brought forth (Aatat’) their fruit (Ukula-haa) and 

(Wa) nothing (Lam Shai'a) transgressed (Taz'lim) thereof (Min'hu). And (Wa) We caused a river (Naharaa)

to gushed forth (Fajjar'naa) through both (Khilaala-humaa). 

[18:34] While (Wa) there was (Kaana) fruit (Thamarun) for him (Lahu), then (Fa) he said to (Qaala Li) his 

companion (Soahibi-hi) as (Wa) he (Huwa) was conversing with him (Yuhaawiru-hu), "I am (Ana') greater

(Ak'tharu) than you (Minka) in wealth (Maalan) and (Wa) mightier (Aåzzu) as an individual (Nafaraa)." 

[18:35] So (Wa) he entered (Dakhala) his garden (Jannata-hu) while (Wa) he (Huwa) was unjust (Zoalimun)

to (Li) his soul (Naf'si-hi), he said (Qaala), "I do not (Maa) think (A'zunnu) that (An) this (Haazihi) will ever 

(Abadaa) perish (Tabiida). 

[18:36] "And (Wa) I do not (Maa) think (A'zunnu) the Hour (Es'Saa'åta) will take place (Qaaimatan). And 

(Wa) if (La'in) I should be returned (Rudidttu) to (ilaa) my LORD (Rabbii), I will (La) find (Ajidanna)

one

better (Khai'ran) than it (Min'haa) in recourse (Munqalabaa)."

[18:37] His companion (Soahibu-hu) said to him (Qaala La-hu) as (Wa) he (Huwa) was conversing with 

him (Yuhaawiru-hu), "Have you disbelieved (A'kafar'ta) in the One who (Billazii) created you (Khalaqa-ka)

from (Min) dust (Turaabin) and then (Thumma) from (Min) sperm (Nut'fatin) and then (Thumma) organized 

you (Sawwaa-ka) a man (Rajulaa)?

[18:38] "But for me (Laakinna'); HE (Huwa) is GOD (Ellahu), my LORD (Rabbii), and I do not (Walaa)

associate (Ush'riku) anyone (Ahadan) with (Bi) my LORD (Rabbii).

[18:39] "And (Wa) why (Law') when (Iz') you entered (Dakhal'ta) your garden (Jannata-ka) did you not 

(Laa) say (Qul'ta), 'What (Maa) GOD has willed (Shaa'a-llahu); there is no (Laa) power (Quwwata) except 

(illaa) by GOD (Billahi)?' Although (In) you see me (Tarani Ana') less (Aqalla) than you (Minka) in wealth

(Maalan) and (Wa) children (Waladaa),

[18:40] but (Fa) perhaps (Åsaa An) my LORD (Rabbii) would give me (Yu'tiyani) better (Khai'ran) than (Min)

your garden (Jannati-ka), and (Wa) HE would send (Yur'sila) a pouring (Hus'baanan) from (Mina) the sky 

(Es'Samaai) upon it (Ålai'haa), and (Fa) it would become (Tus'biha) a slippery (Zalaqaa) field (Soeedan),
