وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَجَعَلَكُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَلَٰكِنْ يُضِلُّ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۚ وَلَتُسْأَلُنَّ عَمَّا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
আৰু আল্লাহে ইচ্ছা কৰিলে তোমালোকক এটা জাতি কৰি দিব পাৰিলেহেঁতেন, কিন্তু তেওঁ যাক ইচ্ছা বিভ্ৰান্ত কৰে আৰু যাক ইচ্ছা সৎপথত পৰিচালিত কৰে। আৰু তোমালোকে যি কৰিছিলা সেই বিষয়ে অৱশ্যে তোমালোকক প্ৰশ্ন* কৰা হ’ব।

وَإِنَّهُ لَذِكْرٌ لَكَ وَلِقَوْمِكَ ۖ وَسَوْفَ تُسْأَلُونَ
নিশ্চয় এই কোৰআন তোমাৰ আৰু তোমাৰ সম্প্ৰদায়ৰ বাবে স্মৰণিকাস্বৰূপ; অনতিপলমে তোমালোকক (ইয়াৰ বিষয়ে) সোধ-পোছ কৰা হ’ব।)

📍Verse/Imp.Note:
16:93 Had God so willed, He could have made you all one single community. However, He lets go astray him that wills (to go astray) and guides him that wills (to be guided). And you will be called to account for all that you ever did.

Note.
A common error of translation: “God sends astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills.” In that case, the very revelations of God come into question! لَا إِكْرَاهَ فِي الدِّينِ ۖ قَدْ تَبَيَّنَ الرُّشْدُ مِنَ الْغَيِّ ۚ فَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِالطَّاغُوتِ وَيُؤْمِنْ بِاللَّهِ فَقَدِ اسْتَمْسَكَ بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقَىٰ لَا انْفِصَامَ لَهَا ۗ وَاللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ
দ্বীন গ্ৰহণৰ ক্ষেত্ৰত কোনো জোৰ-জবৰদস্তি নাই; সত্য পথ ভ্ৰান্ত পথৰ পৰা সুস্পষ্ট হৈছে। এতেকে যিয়ে তাগুতক অস্বীকাৰ কৰিব আৰু আল্লাহৰ প্ৰতি ঈমান আনিব সি এনেকুৱা এডাল ৰছীত খামুচি ধৰিলে যিডাল কেতিয়াও বিচ্ছিন্ন নহ’ব; আৰু আল্লাহ সৰ্বশ্ৰোতা, সৰ্বজ্ঞানী।

৪:৮৮
۞ فَمَا لَكُمْ فِي الْمُنَافِقِينَ فِئَتَيْنِ وَاللَّهُ أَرْكَسَهُمْ بِمَا كَسَبُوا ۚ أَتُرِيدُونَ أَنْ تَهْدُوا مَنْ أَضَلَّ اللَّهُ ۖ وَمَنْ يُضْلِلِ اللَّهُ فَلَنْ تَجِدَ لَهُ سَبِيلًا
এতেকে তোমালোকৰ কি হ’ল, তোমালোকে মুনাফিকসকলৰ বিষয়ে দুই দলত বিভক্ত হৈ গ’লা? অথচ সিহঁতে যি অৰ্জন কৰিছে তাৰবাবে আল্লাহে সিহঁতক পূৰ্বাৱস্থালৈ ওভোতাই দিছে। আল্লাহে যাক পথভ্ৰষ্ট কৰিছে তোমালোকে তাক সৎপথত পৰিচালিত কৰিব বিচৰা নেকি? আৰু আল্লাহে কাৰোবাক পথভ্ৰষ্ট কৰিলে তুমি তাৰবাবে কেতিয়াও কোনো পথ বিচাৰি নাপাবা।

১৮:২৯
وَقُلِ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ ۖ فَمَنْ شَاءَ فَلْيُؤْمِنْ وَمَنْ شَاءَ فَلْيَكْفُرْ ۚ إِنَّا أَعْتَدْنَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ نَارًا أَحَاطَ بِهِمْ سُرَادِقُهَا ۚ وَإِنْ يَسْتَغِيثُوا يُغَاثُوا بِمَاءٍ كَالْمُهْلِ يَشْوِي الْوُجُوهَ ۚ بِئْسَ الشَّرَابُ وَسَاءَتْ مُرْتَفَقًا
আৰু কোৱা, ‘সত্য তোমালোকৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ তৰফৰ পৰা (আহিছে), সেয়ে যাৰ ইচ্ছা সি ঈমান আনক আৰু যাৰ ইচ্ছা সি কুফৰী কৰক’। নিশ্চয় আমি যালিমসকলৰ বাবে প্ৰস্তুত কৰি ৰাখিছো অগ্নি, যাৰ প্ৰাচীৰবোৰে সিহঁতক পৰিবেষ্টন কৰি ৰাখিছে। সিহঁতে পানীয় বিচাৰিলে সিহঁতক দিয়া হ’ব গলিত ধাতুৰ দৰে পানীয়, যিয়ে সিহঁতৰ মুখমণ্ডল দগ্ধ কৰিব, এইটো বৰ নিকৃষ্ট পানীয়! আৰু জাহান্নাম কিমান যে নিকৃষ্ট বিশ্ৰামস্থল!)

وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوا أَيْمَانَكُمْ دَخَلًا بَيْنَكُمْ فَتَزِلَّ قَدَمٌ بَعْدَ ثُبُوتِهَا وَتَذُوقُوا السُّوءَ بِمَا صَدَدْتُمْ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۖ وَلَكُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
আৰু পৰস্পৰক প্ৰবঞ্চনা কৰাৰ বাবে তোমালোকে নিজৰ শপতক ব্যৱহাৰ নকৰিবা; এনে কৰিলে, ভৰি স্থিৰ হোৱাৰ পিছত আকৌ পিচলি যাব আৰু আল্লাহৰ পথত বাধা দিয়াৰ কাৰণে তোমালোকে শাস্তিৰ সোৱাদ গ্ৰহণ কৰিব লাগিব; আৰু তোমালোকৰ বাবে আছে মহাশাস্তি।

🟪১৬:৯৫
وَلَا تَشْتَرُوا بِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا ۚ إِنَّمَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ هُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
আৰু তোমালোকে আল্লাহৰ অঙ্গীকাৰক তুচ্ছ মূল্যত বিক্ৰী নকৰিবা। আল্লাহৰ ওচৰত যি আছে সেইটোৱে তোমালোকৰ বাবে উত্তম—(হায়!) যদি তোমালোক জানিলাহেঁতেন!
📍Verse/Note:
(16:95-97) Do not barter the covenant made with Allah for a petty gain (9/111), for the reward given by Allah will be far better than what you secure by breaking the covenant; if only you could appreciate this. All what you secure in this way will pass away and what is given by Allah will abide (8/53, 13/10, 38/54). This is how Allah will recompense those who endure the trials of life
steadfastly. He surely gives the best of rewards worthy of the best deeds you have done. Our law of Mukaf at is that whoever - man or woman - believes in Allah s Laws and does good deeds will certainly live the most pleasant and good life as a reward for his actions.

🟪১৬:৯৬
مَا عِنْدَكُمْ يَنْفَدُ ۖ وَمَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ بَاقٍ ۗ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّ الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا أَجْرَهُمْ بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
তোমালোকৰ ওচৰত যি আছে সেয়া নিঃশেষ হ’ব আৰু আল্লাহৰ ওচৰত যি আছে সেয়া স্থায়ী। সেয়ে যিসকলে ধৈৰ্য ধাৰণ কৰিছে, আমি অৱশ্যে তেওঁলোকক তেওঁলোকে যি কৰিছিল তাতোকৈ শ্ৰেষ্ঠ প্ৰতিদান প্ৰদান কৰিম।

🟪১৬:৯৭(Guaranteed Happiness Now and Forever).
مَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا مِنْ ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنْثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَلَنُحْيِيَنَّهُ حَيَاةً طَيِّبَةً ۖ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْرَهُمْ بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
ঈমানৰ অৱস্থাত পুৰুষে হওঁক বা নাৰী, যিয়েই সৎকৰ্ম কৰিব, অৱশ্যে আমি তাক পৱিত্ৰ জীৱন দান কৰিম। লগতে অৱশ্যে আমি তেওঁলোকক তেওঁলোকে যি আমল কৰিছিল তাতোকৈ শ্ৰেষ্ঠ প্ৰতিদান প্ৰদান কৰিম।

🟪১৬:৯৮
فَإِذَا قَرَأْتَ الْقُرْآنَ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
এতেকে যেতিয়া তুমি কোৰআন পাঠ কৰিবা তেতিয়া অভিশপ্ত চয়তানৰ পৰা আল্লাহৰ আশ্ৰয় প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰিবা;

Why was this instruction not placed in the beginning of the Quran or every chapter? Is it because we are not asked to utter some words but to acquire a proper mental state before studying the Quran?

إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لَهُ سُلْطَانٌ عَلَى الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ
নিশ্চয় যিসকলে ঈমান আনিছে আৰু তেওঁলোকে নিজ প্ৰতিপালকৰ ওপৰতেই নিৰ্ভৰ কৰে তেওঁলোকৰ ওপৰত তাৰ (চয়তানৰ) কোনো আধিপত্য নাই।

(16:99-100) The satanic forces can have no power over those who believe in the laws of Allah and put their trust in Him. They overpower only those who seek their friendship and those who set up peers

إِنَّمَا سُلْطَانُهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ يَتَوَلَّوْنَهُ وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ بِهِ مُشْرِكُونَ
তাৰ আধিপত্য কেৱল সেইসকল লোকৰ ওপৰত যিসকলে তাক অভিভাৱকৰূপে গ্ৰহণ কৰে আৰু যিসকলে আল্লাহৰ লগত শ্বিৰ্ক কৰে।

🟪১৬:১০১
وَإِذَا بَدَّلْنَا آيَةً مَكَانَ آيَةٍ ۙ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُنَزِّلُ قَالُوا إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ مُفْتَرٍ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
আৰু যেতিয়া আমি এটা আয়াতৰ স্থান পৰিবৰ্তন কৰি আন এটা আয়াত দিওঁ—আৰু সেই সম্পৰ্কে আল্লাহেই ভালকৈ জানে কি তেওঁ অৱতীৰ্ণ কৰিব--, তেতিয়া সিহঁতে কয়, ‘নিশ্চয় তুমি এজন মিছা ৰচনাকাৰী’, বৰং সিহঁতৰ অধিকাংশই নাজানে।

📍Note:
16:101 And now that We replace one message by another* -since God is fully aware of what He bestows from on high, step by step - they [who deny the truth] are wont to say, "Thou but inventest it!" Nay, but most of them do not understand it!

Le., by substituting the message of the Qur'an for the earlier dispensations - and not, as some Muslim scholars maintain, "abrogating" one Qur'anic verse and replacing it by another. (Regarding the untenable "doctrine of abrogation", in the latter sense, see 2:106 and  41:42.)

📍v/n:
(16:101-102) One of the objections raised by the Ahl-ul-Kit ab is that if the Quran was from Allah why did it contain injunctions which were contrary to those in the earlier scriptures. The reason for this
has been adequately explained in (2/106). Still they say that you are a manipulator of words. The difficulty is that most of them do not try to understand. Tell them that Gabriel has brought the revelation based upon truth from your Rabb and this is meant to strengthen the hearts of those who
believe, giving guidance and glad tidings to those who submit to the laws of Allah (2/97, 26/192-194)(pz).

قُلْ نَزَّلَهُ رُوحُ الْقُدُسِ مِنْ رَبِّكَ بِالْحَقِّ لِيُثَبِّتَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَهُدًى وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ
কোৱা, ‘তোমাৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ তৰফৰ পৰা ৰূহুল-কুদুছে (জীব্ৰীলে) যথাযথভাৱে ইয়াক অৱতীৰ্ণ কৰিছে, যিসকলে ঈমান আনিছে তেওঁলোকক সুদৃঢ় কৰাৰ বাবে আৰু ই হৈছে হিদায়ত লগতে মুছলিমসকলৰ বাবে সুসংবাদস্বৰূপ’।

16:102 Tell them, “Ruh-ul-Qudus has brought it down from your Lord in absolute truth. This revelation will keep firm in thought and action, those who accept it. And it will provide guidance and good news to Submitters.”

[16:93] And (Wa) if (Law') GOD had willed (Shaa'a-llahu), HE could have (La) made you (Jaåla-kum') a single (Waahidatan) nation (Ummatan), but (Walaakin) HE sends astray (Yudillu) whomever (Man) HE wills
(Yahsaa'u) and (Wa) guides (Yah'dii) whomever (Man) HE wills (Yashaa'u). And (Wa) you (p) will (La) be questioned (43:44) (Tus'alunna) about what (Åmmaa) you used to (Kuntum') do (Ta'maluun).
[16:94] And (Wa) do not (Laa) take (Tattakhizuu) your oaths (Ai'maana-kum') as vice (Dakhala) between you (Bai'nakum'), then (Fa) a foot (Qadamu) would stumble (Tazilla) after (Ba'da) its stability (Thubuuti-haa), and (Wa) you would taste (Tazuuqu') evil (Es'Suu'a) because (Bimaa) you repelled (Sodadttum') from (Ån)
the way of GOD (Sabiili-llahi); and (Wa) you would have (Lakum') a terrible (Åziim) punishment (Åzaabun).
[16:95] And (Wa) do not (Laa) trade (Tash'taru') the agreement of GOD (Åh'di-llahi) for (Bi) a little (Qaliilan) price (Thamanan). Indeed, what (Innamaa) is with GOD (Endallahi) is (Huwa) better (Khai'run) for you (Lakum'), if (In) you should (Kuntum') know (Ta'lamuun).
[16:96] Whatever (Maa) is with you (Endakum') will run out (Yanfadu), but (Wa) what (Maa) is with GOD (Endallahi) remains (Baaqin). And (Wa) We will (La) repay (Naj'ziyanna) those who (Ellaziina) have been patient (Sobaruu') their reward (Aj'ra-hum) by (Bi) the best (Ah'sani) of what (Maa) they used to (Kaanu') do(Ya'maluun).
[16:97] Whoever (Man') acts (Åmila) righteous (Soalihan), a (Min) male (Zakarin) or (Aw') a female (Unthaa), while (Wa) being (Huwa) a believer (Mu'minun); then (Fa) We will (La) cause him to live (Nuh'yiyannahu) a good (Toyyibatan) life (Hayaatan), and (Wa) We will (La) repay them (Naj'ziyanna-hum')
their reward (Aj'ra-hum) by (Bi) the best (Ah'sani) of what (Maa) they used to (Kaanu') do (Ya'maluun).
[16:98] So (Fa) whenever (Izaa) you (s) read (Qara'ta) the Koran (El'Qur'aana), then (Fa) seek protection (Es'taez') with GOD (Billahi) against (Mina) the accursed (Er'Rajiim) devil (Es'Shai'toani).
[16:99] Indeed, he (the devil) (Innahu) has (Lahu) no (Lai'sa) authority (Sul'toanun) over (Ålaa) those who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu') and (Wa) rely on (Yatawakkaluun Ålaa) their LORD (Rabbi-him').
[16:100] His authority (Sul'toanu-hu) is only (Innamaa) over (Ålaa) those who (Ellaziina) befriend him (Yatawallaw'nahu) and (Wa) those (Elllaziina) to whom (Bihi) they (Hum) are polytheists (Mush'rikuun).
[16:101] And (Wa) when (Izaa) We substitute (Baddal'naa) a verse (Aayatan) in place of (Makaana) another verse (Aayatin), and (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is aware (A'lamu) of what (Bimaa) HE reveals (Yunazzilu), they say
(Qaaluu'), "You (s) (Anta) are only (Innamaa) a fabricator (Muf'tari)." In fact (Bal'), most of them (Ak'tharu- hum') do not (Laa) know (Ya'lamuun).
[16:102] Say (Qul'): "The Holy (El'Qudusi) Spirit (Ruuhu) brought it down (Nazzala-hu) from (Min) your LORD (Rabbi-ka) in truth (Bil' Haqqi) in order to (Li) reinforce (Yuthabbita) those who (Ellaziina) believe
(Aamanu') and (Wa) as guidance (Hudan) and good news (Bush'raa) to the submitters (Lil' Mus'limiin)." (26:192-194)
