🔵১২:৯৪

وَلَمَّا فَصَلَتِ الْعِيرُ قَالَ أَبُوهُمْ إِنِّي لَأَجِدُ رِيحَ يُوسُفَ ۖ لَوْلَا أَنْ تُفَنِّدُونِ

আৰু যেতিয়া যাত্ৰীদল ওলাই পৰিল(*) সেই সময়তে (ইয়াত) তেওঁলোকৰ পিতৃয়ে ক'লে, তোমালোকে যদি মোক বৃদ্ধ-অপ্ৰকৃতিস্থ বুলি নাভাৱা তেন্তে মই কওঁ যে, ‘মই ইউছুফৰ ঘ্ৰাণ পাই আছো’।

(*"had departed", i.e., from Egypt).

[12:94] And (Wa) when (Lammaa) the caravan (El'Eeru) took off (Fasolati), their father (Jacob) (Abuu-hum')

said (Qaala), "Indeed (Innii), I have (La) found (Ajidu) Joseph’s (Yuusufa) odour (Riiha), why (Law') is it that 

(An) you (the brothers) do not (Laa) deny me (Tufanniduuni)?"

🔵১২:৯৫

قَالُوا تَاللَّهِ إِنَّكَ لَفِي ضَلَالِكَ الْقَدِيمِ

সিহঁতে ক’লে, ‘আল্লাহৰ শপত! আপুনি এতিয়াও সেই পুৰণি বিভ্ৰান্তিতেই আছে’।

[12:95] They (the brothers) said (Qaalu'), "By GOD (Ta'llahi), you are indeed (Innaka) in (Lafii) your (-ka) ancient

(El'Qadiim) error (Dolaali-)."

🔵১২:৯৬

فَلَمَّا أَنْ جَاءَ الْبَشِيرُ أَلْقَاهُ عَلَىٰ وَجْهِهِ فَارْتَدَّ بَصِيرًا ۖ قَالَ أَلَمْ أَقُلْ لَكُمْ إِنِّي أَعْلَمُ مِنَ اللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ

তাৰ পিছত যেতিয়া সুসংবাদবাহক উপস্থিত হ’ল আৰু তেওঁৰ মুখমণ্ডলৰ ওপৰত চোলাটো ৰাখিলে তেতিয়া তেওঁ দৃষ্টি শক্তি ঘূৰাই পালে। তেওঁ ক’লে, ‘মই তোমালোকক কোৱা নাছিলোনে যে, মই আল্লাহৰ তৰফৰ পৰা যি জানো তোমালোকে সেয়া নাজানা’?

[12:96] So (Fa) when (Lammaa) the herald (El'Bashiiru) came to throw it (Al'qaahu) on (Ålaa) his face 

(Waj'hi-hi), thereupon (Fa) he (the father) explored (Er'tadda) seeing (Basiiran). He said (Qaala), "Did I not (A-

lam') tell you (Aqul Lakum) that I (Innii) know (A'lamu) from GOD (Minallahi) what (Maa) you do not (Laa)

know (Ta'lamuun)?"

📍Verse:

12:96 (The caravan arrived in Can’aan.) The bearer of the good news came and cast (Joseph’s royal shirt) over his (Jacob’s) face, he was delighted and his eyes saw the reality. He said, “Did I not tell you that I know from God what you do not know?”(sa).

🔵১২:৯৭

قَالُوا يَا أَبَانَا اسْتَغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا خَاطِئِينَ

সিহঁতে ক’লে, ‘হে আমাৰ পিতৃ! আমাৰ গুনাহৰ বাবে ক্ষমা প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰক; নিশ্চয় আমি অপৰাধী’।

[12:97] They (the brothers) said (Qaalu'), "O (Yaa) our father (Abaa-naa), seek forgiveness (Es'tag'fir) for (Lanaa)

our sins (Zunuuba-naa); indeed (Innaa), we were (Kunnaa) at fault (Khaati'iin)."

🔵১২:৯৮

قَالَ سَوْفَ أَسْتَغْفِرُ لَكُمْ رَبِّي ۖ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ

তেওঁ ক’লে, ‘অচিৰেই মই মোৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ ওচৰত তোমালোকৰ বাবে ক্ষমা প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰিম। নিশ্চয় তেওঁ অতি ক্ষমাশীল, পৰম দয়ালু’।

[12:98] He (the father) said (Qaala), "I will (Saw'fa) seek the forgiveness (As'tag'firu) of my LORD (Rabii) for you 

(Lakum'). Indeed, HE (Innahu) is (Huwa) the FORGIVING (El' Gafuuru), the MERCIFUL (Er' Rahiim)."

📍Verse/Note:

12:98 He said, "I will ask forgiveness for you from my Lord, He is the Forgiving, the Compassionate."

Note.

This does not justify the idea of intercession of a messenger. It is normal for those to ask someone to pray for their forgiveness, if their act or crime negatively affects that person(edip).

🔵১২:৯৯(Yusuf welcomes His Parents; His Dream comes True).

فَلَمَّا دَخَلُوا عَلَىٰ يُوسُفَ آوَىٰ إِلَيْهِ أَبَوَيْهِ وَقَالَ ادْخُلُوا مِصْرَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ آمِنِينَ

তাৰ পিছত তেওঁলোক যেতিয়া ইউছুফৰ ওচৰত উপস্থিত হ’ল, তেতিয়া তেওঁ পিতৃ-মাতৃক💚 নিজৰ কাষত স্থান দিলে, আৰু ক’লে, ‘আপোনালোকে আল্লাহৰ ইচ্ছাত নিৰাপদে মিচৰত🦜 অৱস্থান কৰক’।

[12:99] And (Wa) when (Lammaa) they entered (Dakhaluu') to (Ålaa) Joseph (Yuusufa), he provided shelter

for (Aawaa ilai'hi) his two parents (Abawai'hi) and said (Qaala), "Enter (Ed'khulu') Egypt (Mis'ra), GOD 

willing (In Shaa'a-llahu), safely (Aaminiin)."

📍Verse/Note:

[12:99] When they entered Joseph's home, he embraced his parents, 

saying, "Welcome to Misr🦜. God willing, you will be safe here."

Note:🦜

Misr: a secure trade station of which there were many. However, this bears no geographical location to Qubt or Egypt, as it is known today 2:61; 12:111)(sig).

Note:💚(Biblical analysis):

According to the Biblical account - not contradicted by the Qur'an - Joseph's mother Rachel had died while giving birth to Benjamin. We may, therefore, assume that the "mother" implied in the term "parents" was another of Jacob's wives, who had brought up Joseph and Benjamin; this would be in consonance with the ancient Arabian custom of applying the designation "mother" to a foster-mother(as).

وَرَفَعَ أَبَوَيْهِ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ وَخَرُّوا لَهُ سُجَّدًا ۖ وَقَالَ يَا أَبَتِ هَٰذَا تَأْوِيلُ رُؤْيَايَ مِنْ قَبْلُ قَدْ جَعَلَهَا رَبِّي حَقًّا ۖ وَقَدْ أَحْسَنَ بِي إِذْ أَخْرَجَنِي مِنَ السِّجْنِ وَجَاءَ بِكُمْ مِنَ الْبَدْوِ مِنْ بَعْدِ أَنْ نَزَغَ الشَّيْطَانُ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ إِخْوَتِي ۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي لَطِيفٌ لِمَا يَشَاءُ ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْعَلِيمُ الْحَكِيمُ

আৰু ইউছুফে তেওঁৰ পিতৃ-মাতৃক উচ্চ আসনত🔖 বহুৱালে আৰু তেওঁলোক সকলোৱে তেওঁৰ💥(The personal pronoun in "before Him" relates to God) সন্মানত ছাজদাৱনত হ’ল💥। তেতিয়া তেওঁ ক’লে, ‘হে মোৰ পিতৃ! এইটোৱেই মোৰ সপোনৰ ব্যাখ্যা; মোৰ প্ৰতিপালকে ইয়াক সত্যত পৰিণত কৰিছে🍩 আৰু তেৱেঁই মোক কাৰাগাৰৰ পৰা মুক্ত কৰিছে আৰু চয়তানে মোৰ আৰু মোৰ ভাতৃসকলৰ সম্পৰ্ক বিনষ্ট কৰাৰ পিছতো আপোনালোকক মৰুভূমি অঞ্চলৰ পৰা ইয়াত আনি তেওঁ মোৰ প্ৰতি অনুগ্ৰহ কৰিছে। নিশ্চয় মোৰ প্ৰতিপালকে যি ইচ্ছা কৰে🍓 সেয়া নিপুণতাৰ সৈতে কৰে। নিশ্চয় তেৱেঁই সৰ্বজ্ঞ, প্ৰজ্ঞাময়’।

[12:100] And (Wa) he (Joseph) raised (Rafaå) his two parents (Abawai'hi) upon (Ålaa) the throne (El'År'shi) and 

(Wa) they fell down (Kharru') before him (Lahu) in prostration (Sujjadan). And (Wa) he said (Qaala), "O 

(Yaa) my father (Abati), this (Haaza) is the interpretation (Ta'wiilu) of my vision (*12:4) (Ru'yaaa) before (Min

Qab'lu), my LORD (Rabbii) has (Qad') made it (Jaålaha) real (Haqqan), and (Wa) has been (Qad') good 

(Ah'sana) to me (Bii) when (Iz) HE removed me (Akh'rajanii) from (Mina) prison (Es'Sij'ni) and brought you 

(my family) (Jaa'a Bi-kum) from (Mina) Bedouin (El'Bad'wi) after (Min Ba'di An) the devil (Es'Shai'toanu) had 

incited evil (Nazaga) between me and (Bai'nii Wa Bai'na) my brothers (Ikh'watii). Indeed (Inna), my LORD 

(Rabbii) is affable (Latiifun) through what (Limaa) HE wills (Yashaau). Indeed, HE (Innahu) is (Huwa) the 

OMNISCIENT (El' Åliimu), the WISE (El' Hakiim)."

(*১২:৪

إِذْ قَالَ يُوسُفُ لِأَبِيهِ يَا أَبَتِ إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ أَحَدَ عَشَرَ كَوْكَبًا وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ رَأَيْتُهُمْ لِي سَاجِدِينَ

স্মৰণ কৰা, যেতিয়া ইউছুফে তেওঁৰ পিতাক কৈছিল, ‘হে মোৰ পিতৃ! মই (সপোনত) এঘাৰটা নক্ষত্ৰ, সূৰ্য আৰু চন্দ্ৰক দেখিছো, সেইবোৰক মোৰ প্ৰতি ছাজদাৱনত অৱস্থাত দেখিছো’।)

🔵১২:১০১(Yusuf begs Allah to die as A Muslim).

۞ رَبِّ قَدْ آتَيْتَنِي مِنَ الْمُلْكِ وَعَلَّمْتَنِي مِنْ تَأْوِيلِ الْأَحَادِيثِ ۚ فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَنْتَ وَلِيِّي فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ۖ تَوَفَّنِي مُسْلِمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ

‘হে মোৰ প্ৰতিপালক! তুমিয়েই মোক ৰাজত্ব দান* কৰিছা আৰু সপোনৰ ব্যাখ্যা শিক্ষা দিছা**। হে আকাশসমূহ আৰু পৃথিৱীৰ স্ৰষ্টা! তুমিয়েই পৃথিৱী আৰু আখিৰাতত মোৰ অভিভাৱক। তুমি মোক মুছলিম অৱস্থাত মুত্যু প্ৰদান কৰা আৰু মোক সৎকৰ্মপৰায়ণসকলৰ অন্তৰ্ভুক্ত কৰা’।

[12:101] "LORD (Rabbi) YOU have granted me (Aatai'tanii Mina) sovereignty (*3:26) (El'Mul'ki) and taught me 

(Ållam'tanii) of (Min) the interpretation (Ta'wiili) of discourses (El'Ahaadiithi). Originator (Faatira) of the 

heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'di); YOU (Anta) are my guardian (Waliyyi) in (Fii) the world 

(Ed'Dun'ya) and the hereafter (Wal' Aakhirati). Let me die (Tawaffa-nii) a submitter (Mus'liman) and (Wa)

enrol me (Al'hiq'nii) with (Bi) the righteous (Es'Soalihiin)."

(*৩:২৬

قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ مَالِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِي الْمُلْكَ مَنْ تَشَاءُ وَتَنْزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّنْ تَشَاءُ وَتُعِزُّ مَنْ تَشَاءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَنْ تَشَاءُ ۖ بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

কোৱা, ‘হে সাৰ্বভৌম শক্তিৰ মালিক আল্লাহ! তুমি যাক ইচ্ছা ক্ষমতা প্ৰদান কৰা আৰু যাৰ পৰা ইচ্ছা ক্ষমতা কাঢ়ি লোৱা; যাক ইচ্ছা তুমি সন্মানিত কৰা আৰু যাক ইচ্ছা তুমি অপমানিত কৰা। তোমাৰ হাততেই কল্যাণ। নিশ্চয় তুমি সকলো বস্তুৰ ওপৰত ক্ষমতাৱান।

📍Verse/Note:

12:101 "O my Sustainer! Thou hast indeed bestowed upon me something of power,(*) and hast imparted unto me some knowledge of the inner meaning of happenings.(**) Originator of the heavens and the earth! Thou art near unto me in this world and in the life to come: let me die🐧 as one who has surrendered himself unto Thee, and make me one with the righteous!"(as).

Lit., "of dominion", indicating that absolute power and absolute dominion belong to God alone.

وَكَذَٰلِكَ يَجْتَبِيكَ رَبُّكَ وَيُعَلِّمُكَ مِنْ تَأْوِيلِ الْأَحَادِيثِ وَيُتِمُّ نِعْمَتَهُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ يَعْقُوبَ كَمَا أَتَمَّهَا عَلَىٰ أَبَوَيْكَ مِنْ قَبْلُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْحَاقَ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ

আৰু এইদৰে তোমাৰ প্ৰতিপালকে তোমাক মনোনীত কৰিব আৰু তোমাক সপোনৰ ব্যাখ্যা শিক্ষা দিব আৰু তোমাৰ ওপৰত লগতে ইয়াকূবৰ পৰিয়ালৰ ওপৰত তেওঁৰ অনুগ্ৰহ পূৰ্ণ কৰিব, যেনেকৈ তেওঁ এইটো পূৰ্ণ কৰিছিল ইয়াৰ আগত তোমাৰ পিতৃ-পুৰুষ ইব্ৰাহীম আৰু ইছহাক্বৰ ওপৰত। নিশ্চয় তোমাৰ ৰব সৰ্বজ্ঞ, প্ৰজ্ঞাময়।)
