🟦১১:৪৫(No Nepotism, No Intercession)

وَنَادَىٰ نُوحٌ رَبَّهُ فَقَالَ رَبِّ إِنَّ ابْنِي مِنْ أَهْلِي وَإِنَّ وَعْدَكَ الْحَقُّ وَأَنْتَ أَحْكَمُ الْحَاكِمِينَ

আৰু নূহে তেওঁৰ প্ৰতিপালকক আহ্বান কৰি ক’লে, ‘হে মোৰ ৰব! নিশ্চয় মোৰ পুত্ৰ মোৰ পৰিয়ালৰ অন্তৰ্ভুক্ত আৰু নিশ্চয় তোমাৰ প্ৰতিশ্ৰুতি সত্য, আৰু তুমি বিচাৰকসকলৰ মাজত আটাইতকৈ শ্ৰেষ্ঠ বিচাৰক’।

[11:45] And (Wa) Noah (Nuuhun) called (Naadaa) his LORD (Rabba-hu) and (Fa) said (Qaala), "LORD (Rabbi), indeed (Inna) my son (Eb'nii) is of (Min') my family (Ah'lii), for (Wa) indeed (Inna), YOUR promise 

(Wa'da-ka) is true (El'Haqqu); and (Wa) YOU (Anta) are the Master (Ah'kamu) of judges (El'Haakimiin)."

📍Verse/Note:

11:45 Noah called upon his Lord, "My Lord! My son was of my family and Your promise is the True promise and You are the Most Just of judges."

So, why he was not saved while God had promised to save his family. 11:46sa.

🟦১১:৪৬(The Myth of Intercession).

قَالَ يَا نُوحُ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ مِنْ أَهْلِكَ ۖ إِنَّهُ عَمَلٌ غَيْرُ صَالِحٍ ۖ فَلَا تَسْأَلْنِ مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ ۖ إِنِّي أَعِظُكَ أَنْ تَكُونَ مِنَ الْجَاهِلِينَ

আল্লাহে ক’লে, ‘হে নূহ! নিশ্চয় সি তোমাৰ পৰিয়ালৰ অন্তৰ্ভুক্ত নহয়। সি অৱশ্যে অসৎকৰ্মপৰায়ণ। সেয়ে যি বিষয়ে তোমাৰ কোনো জ্ঞান নাই সেই বিষয়ে তুমি মোক অনুৰোধ নকৰিবা। মই তোমাক উপদেশ দিছো, তুমি যাতে অজ্ঞসকলৰ অন্তৰ্ভুক্ত নোহোৱা’।

[11:46] HE (God) said (Qaala), "O (Yaa) Noah (Nuuhu), indeed he (Innahu) is not (Lai'sa) of (Min') your family 

(Ah'li-ka); indeed, his (Innahu) work (Åmalun) was not (Gai'ru) righteous (Soalihin), so do not (Falaa)

implore ME (Tas'al'ni) about (Bihi) what (Maa) you have no (Lai'sa La-ka) knowledge (il'mun). Indeed, I 

(Innii) admonish you (Noah)

(A'ezu-ka), lest (An) you be (Takuuna) among (Mina) the ignorant (El'Jaahiliin)."

حَتَّىٰ إِذَا جَاءَ أَمْرُنَا وَفَارَ التَّنُّورُ قُلْنَا احْمِلْ فِيهَا مِنْ كُلٍّ زَوْجَيْنِ اثْنَيْنِ وَأَهْلَكَ إِلَّا مَنْ سَبَقَ عَلَيْهِ الْقَوْلُ وَمَنْ آمَنَ ۚ وَمَا آمَنَ مَعَهُ إِلَّا قَلِيلٌ

অৱশেষত যেতিয়া আমাৰ আদেশ আহিল আৰু চৌকাটো উথলি উঠিল, আমি ক’লো, ‘প্ৰত্যেক জাতৰে এযোৰ এযোৰকৈ নাৱঁত তুলি লোৱা। যিসকলৰ বিৰুদ্ধে পূৰ্ব-সিদ্ধান্ত হৈছে সিহঁতৰ বাহিৰে তোমাৰ পৰিয়ালৰ আৰু যিসকলে ঈমান আনিছে তেওঁলোককো তুলি লোৱা; আনহাতে তেওঁৰ লগত ঈমান আনিছিল কেৱল কিছুসংখ্যক লোকে’।

11:46 He said, "O Noah, he is not of your family. It is unrighteous to ask Me for something you do not know. I enlighten you, lest you be like the ignorant."

Note.

Intercession is Satan's most effective bait to entice people into idol worship. However, Abraham could not help his father, nor could Noahhelp his son, nor could Muhammad help his own relatives *(2:254, 9:80 &114)(rk).

11:46 He (God) said, "O Noah! Your son was not of your family. For, his conduct was unrighteous. So, do not expect from Me that of which you have no knowledge. I enlighten you so that you do not remain ignorant.”

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ مِنْ ذَكَرٍ وَأُنْثَىٰ وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ شُعُوبًا وَقَبَائِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوا ۚ إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ

হে মানৱ সম্প্ৰদায়! নিশ্চয় আমি তোমালোকক এজন পুৰুষ আৰু এজনী নাৰীৰ পৰা সৃষ্টি কৰিছো, আৰু তোমালোকক বিভক্ত কৰিছো বিভিন্ন জাতি আৰু গোত্ৰত, যাতে তোমালোকে এজনে আনজনৰ লগত পৰিচিত হ’ব পাৰা। তোমালোকৰ মাজত আল্লাহৰ ওচৰত কেৱল সেই ব্যক্তিয়েই বেছি মৰ্যাদাশীল যিজন তোমালোকৰ মাজত বেছি তাক্বৱা সম্পন্ন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সৰ্বজ্ঞ, সম্যক অৱহিত।)

🟦১১:৪৭

قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَسْأَلَكَ مَا لَيْسَ لِي بِهِ عِلْمٌ ۖ وَإِلَّا تَغْفِرْ لِي وَتَرْحَمْنِي أَكُنْ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ

তেওঁ ক’লে, ‘হে মোৰ ৰব! যি বিষয়ে মোৰ কোনো জ্ঞান নাই সেই বিষয়ে মই যাতে তোমাক অনুৰোধ নকৰো তাৰ বাবে মই তোমাৰ ওচৰত আশ্ৰয় প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰিছো। তুমি যদি মোক ক্ষমা নকৰা আৰু মোক দয়া নকৰা, তেন্তে মই ক্ষতিগ্ৰস্তসকলৰ অন্তৰ্ভুক্ত হৈ যাম’।

[11:47] He (Noah) said (Qaala), "LORD (Rabbi), indeed, I (Innii) seek refuge with YOU (A'uuzu Bi-ka), lest (An')

I implore YOU (As'ala-ka) about (Bihi) what (Maa) I have no (Lai'sa Lii) knowledge (il'mun). And (Wa)

unless (illa) YOU forgive me (Tag'fir' Lii) and have mercy upon me (Tar'ham'nii), I would be (Akun) of 

(Mina) the losers (El'Khaasiriin)."

قِيلَ يَا نُوحُ اهْبِطْ بِسَلَامٍ مِنَّا وَبَرَكَاتٍ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَىٰ أُمَمٍ مِمَّنْ مَعَكَ ۚ وَأُمَمٌ سَنُمَتِّعُهُمْ ثُمَّ يَمَسُّهُمْ مِنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ

কোৱা হ’ল, ‘হে নূহ! অৱতৰণ কৰা (নাৱৰ পৰা) আমাৰ ফালৰ পৰা শান্তি(*بِسَلَامٍ) আৰু কল্যাণৰ সৈতে তোমাৰ প্ৰতি আৰু যিবোৰ সম্প্ৰদায় তোমাৰ লগত আছে তেওঁলোকৰ প্ৰতি(**); আৰু কিছুমান এনেকুৱা সম্প্ৰদায়ো আছে আমি সিহঁতক জীৱন উপভোগ কৰিবলৈ দিম, কিন্তু পিছত আমাৰ ফালৰ পৰা যন্ত্ৰণাদায়ক শাস্তিয়ে সিহঁতক স্পৰ্শ কৰিব;

[11:48] It was said (Qiila), "O (Yaa) Noah (Nuuhu), come down (descend) (Eh'bit') in (Bi) peace (Salaamin) from 

Us (Minnaa) and (Wa) blessings (Barakaatin) upon you (Ålai'ka) and upon (Ålaa) nations (Umamin) among 

those (Mimman) with you (Maåka). As for (Wa)

other nations (Umamun) We will make them enjoy (Sa 

Numattiu-hum'), then (Thumma) a painful (Aliim) punishment (Åzaabun) from Us (Minnaa) will touch 

them (Yamassu-hum)."

11:48 [Thereupon] the word was spoken: "O Noah! Disembark in peace from Us,!(*) and with [Our] blessings upon thee as well as upon the people [who are with thee, and the righteous ones that will spring from thee and] from those who are with thee.(**) But [as for the unrighteous] folk [that will spring from you] - We shall allow them to enjoy life [for a little while], and then there will befall them grievous suffering from Us."

Note*

The term salam - here translated as "peace" - comprises the notions of both external and internal security from all that is evil. For a fuller explanation of the term, see surah 5:16-note🔖.

Note**

The above interpolation is based on the consensus of most of the classical commentators. The phrase "the people [or "generations"] from those who are with thee" points to generations as yet unborn; but since God's blessing extends to all believers, it eo ipso comprises the believers of Noah's generation as well; and since "those who deny the truth" (al-kafirun) are excluded from God's blessing, only the righteous from among the offspring of these early believers are promised a share in His grace (cf. a similar allusion, relating to Abraham's descendants, in 2:124🔖🔖): hence interpolation of the words "as for the unrighteous that will spring from you" in the next sentence(as).

📍Verse/Note-2

11:48 He was told, “O Noah! Disembark and descend from the hills in peace from Us and blessings upon you, and some generations (that will spring forth) from your companions (*11:41). There will be other peoples to whom We shall give enjoyment a long while, but in the end a painful chastisement will reach them from Us.”

And other communities, all of them will be awarded according to their deeds.11:15**(sa).

۞ وَقَالَ ارْكَبُوا فِيهَا بِسْمِ اللَّهِ مَجْرَاهَا وَمُرْسَاهَا ۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي لَغَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ

আৰু তেওঁ ক’লে, ‘তোমালোকে ইয়াত আৰোহণ কৰা, ইয়াৰ গতি আৰু স্থিতি হ’ব আল্লাহৰ নামত, নিশ্চয় মোৰ ৰব, অতি ক্ষমাশীল, পৰম দয়ালু’।

১১:১৫**

مَنْ كَانَ يُرِيدُ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا وَزِينَتَهَا نُوَفِّ إِلَيْهِمْ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فِيهَا وَهُمْ فِيهَا لَا يُبْخَسُونَ

যিয়ে পাৰ্থিৱ জীৱন আৰু ইয়াৰ সৌন্দৰ্য কামনা কৰে, পৃথিৱীতেই আমি সিহঁতৰ আমলৰ পূৰ্ণ ফল প্ৰদান কৰো আৰু তাত সিহঁতক কম দিয়া নহ’ব।)

🟦১১:৪৯

تِلْكَ مِنْ أَنْبَاءِ الْغَيْبِ نُوحِيهَا إِلَيْكَ ۖ مَا كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُهَا أَنْتَ وَلَا قَوْمُكَ مِنْ قَبْلِ هَٰذَا ۖ فَاصْبِرْ ۖ إِنَّ الْعَاقِبَةَ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ

‘এইবোৰ গায়েবৰ সংবাদ আমি তোমাক অহীৰ জৰিয়তে অৱহিত কৰিছো, যিবোৰ ইয়াৰ আগতে তুমি জনা নাছিলা আৰু তোমাৰ সম্প্ৰদায়েও জনা নাছিল। গতিকে তুমি ধৈৰ্য ধাৰণ কৰা। নিশ্চয় শুভ পৰিণাম কেৱল মুত্তাক্বীসকলৰ বাবে’*।

[11:49] That (Til'ka) is from (Min') the news (Anbaai) of the unseen (El'Gai'bi) which We inspire (Nuuhiya-

haa) to you (Mohammed) (ilai'ka). You (s) (Anta) did (Kunta) not (Maa) know it (Ta'lamu-haa) before (Min Qab'li)

this (Haaza), nor (Walaa) your people (Qaw'mu-ka). So (Fa) be patient (Es'bir'); indeed (Inna), the outcome

(end) (El'Ååqibata) is for the pious (Lil' Muttaqiin).

إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْكُمْ ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ

মুমিনসকল পৰস্পৰে ভাই-ভাই; সেয়ে তোমালোকে নিজ ভাতৃসকলৰ মাজত আপোচ-মীমাংসা কৰি দিয়া। লগতে আল্লাহৰ তাক্বৱা অৱলম্বন কৰা, যাতে তোমালোকে অনুগ্ৰহপ্ৰাপ্ত হোৱা।)

৩৭:১৭১-১৭২

وَلَقَدْ سَبَقَتْ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا الْمُرْسَلِينَ

নিশ্চয় আমাৰ প্ৰেৰিত বান্দাসকলৰ বিষয়ে আমাৰ এই কথা পূৰ্বেই নিৰ্ধাৰিত হৈছে যে,

৩৭:১৭২

إِنَّهُمْ لَهُمُ الْمَنْصُورُونَ

নিশ্চয় তেওঁলোক সাহায্যপ্ৰাপ্ত হ’ব।

🟦১১:৫০

وَإِلَىٰ عَادٍ أَخَاهُمْ هُودًا ۚ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مَا لَكُمْ مِنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرُهُ ۖ إِنْ أَنْتُمْ إِلَّا 👈مُفْتَرُونَ

আৰু আদ জাতিৰ ওচৰত সিহঁতৰ ভাতৃ হূদক🔖 প্ৰেৰণ কৰিছিলো, তেওঁ কৈছিল, ‘হে মোৰ সম্প্ৰদায়! তোমালোকে কেৱল আল্লাহৰ ইবাদত কৰা। তেওঁৰ বাহিৰে তোমালোকৰ আন কোনো সত্য ইলাহ নাই। তোমালোকে কেৱল মিছাহে👈 ৰচনা কৰা’🦜।

[11:50] And (Wa) to (ilaa) Ad (Åådin); their brother (Akhaa-hum') Hud (Huudan)*. He said (Qaala), "O (Yaa)

my people (Qaw'mi), worship GOD (E'buduu'llaha); you have (Lakum) no (Maa Min') god (ilaahin) other 

than HIM (Gai'ruhu). You (Antum') are only (In' illa) fabricators (Muf'taruun).

11:50 AND UNTO [the tribe of] `Ad [We sent] their brother Hud.🔖 He said: "O my people! Worship God [alone]: you have no deity other than Him. [As it is,] you are but inventors of falsehood!🦜

🟦১১:৫১

يَا قَوْمِ لَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَى الَّذِي فَطَرَنِي ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ

‘হে মোৰ সম্প্ৰদায়! মই তোমালোকৰ ওচৰত ইয়াৰ কোনো বিনিময় নিবিচাৰো(*)। মোৰ বিনিময় আছে কেৱল তেওঁৰ ওচৰত, যিজনে মোক সৃষ্টি কৰিছে। তথাপিও তোমালোকে বুজি নোপোৱা নে’?

[11:51] "O (Yaa) my people (Qaw'mi), I do not (Laa') ask you (As'alu-kum')

any wage (Aj'ran) for it (Ålai'hi). 

My wage (reward) (Aj'riya) is only (In' illa) from (Ålaa) the One who (Ellazii) created me (Fatoranii). Will you 

then not (Afalaa) reason (Ta'qiluun)?

📍Note:

(*)God's messengers never asked for any money from those they sought to guide with God's 

message. A clear indication of rogues and charlatans is that they are always seeking ways to fleece 

their flocks. They do this by taking payment for performance of religious rites, fake healing, selling 

icons and goods (such as holy water and good luck charms) for salvation, operating corrupt 

charitable organisations and much more. See verses 9:31 and 9:34(sig).

(৯:৩১

اتَّخَذُوا أَحْبَارَهُمْ وَرُهْبَانَهُمْ أَرْبَابًا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ وَالْمَسِيحَ ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ وَمَا أُمِرُوا إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا إِلَٰهًا وَاحِدًا ۖ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ سُبْحَانَهُ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ

সিহঁতে আল্লাহৰ বাহিৰে সিহঁতৰ পণ্ডিত আৰু সংসাৰ-বিৰাগীসকলক সিহঁতৰ ৰবৰূপে গ্ৰহণ কৰিছে আৰু মাৰইয়ামৰ পুত্ৰ মছীহকো। অথচ এক ইলাহৰ ইবাদত কৰাৰ বাবেই তেওঁলোক আদিষ্ট হৈছিল। যাৰ বাহিৰে আন কোনো সত্য ইলাহ নাই। সিহঁতে যি অংশী স্থাপন কৰে তাৰ পৰা তেওঁ অতি পৱিত্ৰ!

৯:৩৪

۞ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِنَ الْأَحْبَارِ وَالرُّهْبَانِ لَيَأْكُلُونَ أَمْوَالَ النَّاسِ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۗ وَالَّذِينَ يَكْنِزُونَ الذَّهَبَ وَالْفِضَّةَ وَلَا يُنْفِقُونَهَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَبَشِّرْهُمْ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ

হে ঈমান্দাৰসকল! পণ্ডিত আৰু সংসাৰ-বিৰাগীসকলৰ মাজত বহুতেই জনসাধাৰণৰ ধন-সম্পদ অন্যায়ভাৱে ভক্ষণ কৰে আৰু মানুহক আল্লাহৰ পথৰ পৰা নিবৃত্ত কৰে। আৰু যিসকলে সোণ-ৰূপ সঞ্চয় কৰে আৰু সেয়া আল্লাহৰ পথত ব্যয় নকৰে তুমি সিহঁতক যন্ত্ৰণাদায়ক শাস্তিৰ সুসংবাদ দিয়া।)
