🔷২:৮(The Hypocrites).

وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَقُولُ آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَبِالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَمَا هُمْ بِمُؤْمِنِينَ

আৰু মানুহৰ মাজত এনেকুৱা কিছুমান মানুহো আছে যিসকলে কয়, ‘আমি আল্লাহ আৰু শেষ দিৱসৰ প্ৰতি ঈমান আনিছো’, অথচ সিহঁত মুমিন নহয়।

[2:8] And (Wa) among (Mina) the people (En'Naasi) are those who (Man) say (Yaquulu), "We believe (Aamanna) in GOD (Billahi) and (Wa) in (Bi) the Last Day (El'Yaw'mil' Aakhiri)," but (Wa) they (Hum) are not (Maa Bi) believers (Mu'miniin).

2:8 And of mankind there are those who claim, “We believe in God and the Last Day", while they are not believers.

Their actions that speak louder than words, contradict their claim. *4:136, **49:15(sa).

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا آمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَالْكِتَابِ الَّذِي نَزَّلَ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِ وَالْكِتَابِ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ مِنْ قَبْلُ ۚ وَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِاللَّهِ وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَالًا بَعِيدًا

হে মুমিনসকল! তোমালোকে ঈমান আনা আল্লাহৰ প্ৰতি, তেওঁৰ ৰাছুলৰ প্ৰতি আৰু সেই গ্ৰন্থৰ প্ৰতি যিখন তেওঁ নিজ ৰাছুলৰ প্ৰতি অৱতীৰ্ণ কৰিছে আৰু সেই গ্ৰন্থৰ প্ৰতিও ঈমান আনা যিখন তেওঁ ইয়াৰ পূৰ্বে অৱতীৰ্ণ কৰিছে। যিয়ে আল্লাহ আৰু তেওঁৰ ফিৰিস্তাসকল, তেওঁৰ কিতাবসমূহ, তেওঁৰ ৰাছুলসকল লগতে শেষ দিৱসৰ প্ৰতি কুফৰী কৰিলে সি ভ্ৰষ্টতাত বহু দূৰ আঁতৰি গ’ল।)

(৪৯:১৫**

إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَرْتَابُوا وَجَاهَدُوا بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنْفُسِهِمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الصَّادِقُونَ

মুমিন কেৱল তেওঁলোকেই, যিসকলে আল্লাহ আৰু তেওঁৰ ৰাছুলৰ প্ৰতি ঈমান আনিছে, তাৰ পিছত সন্দেহ পোষণ কৰা নাই লগতে তেওঁলোকে জান-মালৰ সৈতে আল্লাহৰ পথত জিহাদ কৰিছে। তেওঁলোকেই সত্যনিষ্ঠ।)

🔷২:৯

يُخَادِعُونَ اللَّهَ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَمَا يَخْدَعُونَ إِلَّا أَنْفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ

সিহঁতে আল্লাহ আৰু মুমিনসকলক প্ৰতাৰিত কৰিব বিচাৰে, প্ৰকৃততে সিহঁতে নিজেই নিজকে প্ৰতাৰিত কৰি আছে, অথচ সিহঁতে সেইটো অনুধাৱন নকৰে।

[2:9] In order to deceive (Yukhaadi'uuna) GOD (Ellaha) and (Wa) those who (Ellaziina) have believed(Aamanuu'), but (Wa) they only (Maa illa) deceive (Yakh'dauuna) themselves (Anfusa-hum'), and (Wa) they 

do not (Maa) perceive (Yash'uruun).

৬৩:১

 إِذَا جَاءَكَ الْمُنَافِقُونَ قَالُوا نَشْهَدُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُهُ وَاللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ لَكَاذِبُونَ

যেতিয়া মুনাফিকসকল তোমাৰ ওচৰলৈ আহে তেতিয়া সিহঁতে কয়, আমি সাক্ষ্য দিওঁ যে, ‘নিশ্চয় আপুনি আল্লাহৰ ৰাছুল’; আৰু আল্লাহে জানে যে, তুমি নিশ্চয় তেওঁৰ ৰাছুল আৰু আল্লাহে সাক্ষ্য দিয়ে যে, নিশ্চয় মুনাফিকসকল মিছলীয়া।

৫৮:১৮

يَوْمَ يَبْعَثُهُمُ اللَّهُ جَمِيعًا فَيَحْلِفُونَ لَهُ كَمَا يَحْلِفُونَ لَكُمْ ۖ وَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمْ عَلَىٰ شَيْءٍ ۚ أَلَا إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْكَاذِبُونَ

সেইদিনা আল্লাহে সিহঁত সকলোকে পুনৰুত্থিত কৰিব, তেতিয়া সিহঁতে আল্লাহৰ ওচৰত এনেকুৱা শপত কৰিব যেনেকুৱা শপত তোমালোকৰ ওচৰত কৰে আৰু সিহঁতে ভাৱে যে, সিহঁতে ভাল কিবা এটা কৰি আছে। সাৱধান! নিশ্চয় সিহঁতেই প্ৰকৃত মিছলীয়া।

৪:১৪২

إِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ يُخَادِعُونَ اللَّهَ وَهُوَ خَادِعُهُمْ وَإِذَا قَامُوا إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ قَامُوا كُسَالَىٰ يُرَاءُونَ النَّاسَ وَلَا يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا

নিশ্চয় মুনাফিকসকলে আল্লাহৰ লগত প্ৰতাৰণা কৰে, প্ৰকৃততে তেৱেঁই সিহঁতক প্ৰতাৰিত কৰে, আৰু যেতিয়া সিহঁতে ছালাতত থিয় হয় তেতিয়া অলসতাভাৱে থিয় হয়, কেৱল লোকক দেখুৱাবলৈ। আল্লাহক সিহঁতে অতিকৈ কম স্মৰণ কৰে।

🔷২:১০

فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ مَرَضٌ فَزَادَهُمُ اللَّهُ مَرَضًا ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْذِبُونَ

সিহঁতৰ অন্তৰসমূহত ব্যাধি আছে। এতেকে আল্লাহে সিহঁতৰ ব্যাধি আৰু বৃদ্ধি কৰি দিছে , আৰু সিহঁতৰ বাবে আছে কষ্টদায়ক শাস্তি, কাৰণ সিহঁত মিছলীয়া ।

[2:10] There is disease (Maradun) in (Fii) their hearts (Quluubi-him). So (Fa) GOD (Ellahu) has increased them 

(Zaada-humu) in disease (Maradoan). They will have (Lahum) a painful (Aliim) punishment (Åzaabun)

because (Bimaa) they were (Kaanu') lying (Yak'zibuun).

🔷২:১১

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا تُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ قَالُوا إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُصْلِحُونَ

আৰু যেতিয়া সিহঁতক কোৱা হয় ‘তোমালোকে পৃথিৱীত ফাছাদ (বিপৰ্যয়) সৃষ্টি নকৰিবা’ , সিহঁতে কয়, ‘আমি কেৱল সংশোধনকাৰী’ ।

[2:11] And (Wa) when (Izaa) they are told (Qiila Lahum), "Do not (Laa) corrupt (Tuf'siduu') on earth (Fiil' Ar'di)," they say (Qaaluu'), "We (Nah'nu) are only (Innama) peacemakers (reformers) (Mus'lihuun)."

৮:৭৩

وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ ۚ إِلَّا تَفْعَلُوهُ تَكُنْ فِتْنَةٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَفَسَادٌ كَبِيرٌ

আৰু যিসকলে কুফৰী কৰিছে সিহঁতে পৰস্পৰে পৰস্পৰৰ বন্ধু, সেয়ে যদি তোমালোকে এনে নকৰা তেন্তে পৃথিৱীত ফিতনা আৰু মহাবিপৰ্যয়ে দেখা দিব।

৪:১৪৪-১৪৫

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا الْكَافِرِينَ أَوْلِيَاءَ مِنْ دُونِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۚ أَتُرِيدُونَ أَنْ تَجْعَلُوا لِلَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ سُلْطَانًا مُبِينًا

হে মুমিনসকল! তোমালোকে মুমিনসকলৰ বাহিৰে কাফিৰসকলক বন্ধুৰূপে গ্ৰহণ নকৰিবা। তোমালোকে নিজৰ ওপৰত আল্লাহৰ প্ৰকাশ্য অভিযোগ কায়েম কৰিব বিচৰা নেকি?

৪:১৪৫

إِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ فِي الدَّرْكِ الْأَسْفَلِ مِنَ النَّارِ وَلَنْ تَجِدَ لَهُمْ نَصِيرًا

নিশ্চয় মুনাফিকসকল জাহান্নামৰ সৰ্বনিম্ন স্তৰত থাকিব আৰু সিহঁতৰ বাবে তুমি কেতিয়াও কোনো সহায়ক নাপাবা।

🔷২:১২

أَلَا إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْمُفْسِدُونَ وَلَٰكِنْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ

সাৱধান! ইহঁতেই ফাছাদ সৃষ্টিকাৰী, কিন্তু সিহঁতে অনুধাৱন নকৰে।

[2:12] Verily (Alaa) indeed, (Innahum) they (Humu) are the corrupters (El'Muf'siduuna), but (Walaakin) they do not (Laa) perceive (Yash'uruun).

.

📍Verse/Note:

2:12 Nay, it is they who are the disrupters. But they fail to use reason.

Note.

They bring forth a common argument that they are acting in good faith and in accordance with their ‘conscience’. But conscience is only the "internalized society", a mental reflection of the values prevalent in a given environment. Therefore, it can never be a substitute for Divine revelation Wahi.*3:20, 5:79, 9:67, 24:21

🔷২:১৩

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ آمِنُوا كَمَا آمَنَ النَّاسُ قَالُوا أَنُؤْمِنُ كَمَا آمَنَ السُّفَهَاءُ ۗ أَلَا إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ السُّفَهَاءُ وَلَٰكِنْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

আৰু যেতিয়া সিহঁতক কোৱা হয়, 'তোমালোকে ঈমান আনা যেনেকৈ লোকসকলে ঈমান আনিছে', সিহঁতে কয়, 'আমিও তেনেকৈ ঈমান আনিম নেকি যেনেকৈ নিৰ্বোধ লোকসকলে ঈমান আনিছে'? সাৱধান! নিশ্চয় সিহঁতেই নিৰ্বোধ, কিন্তু সিহঁতে নাজানে।

(foolishness:2:13, 2:142, 6:140, 7:66, 7:67, 7:155, 72:4).

[2:13] And (Wa) when (Izaa) they are told (Qiila Lahum), "Believe (Aaminuu') as (Kamaa) the people (En'Naasu) have believed (Aamana)," they say (Qaaluu'), "Should we believe (Anu'minu) as (Kamaa) those who (Man) were foolish (Es'Sufahaau)?" Verily (Alaa) indeed, (Innahum) they (Humu) are the foolish 

(Es'Sufahaau), but (Walaakin) they do not (Laa) know (Ya'lamuun).

وَإِذَا لَقُوا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قَالُوا آمَنَّا وَإِذَا خَلَوْا إِلَىٰ شَيَاطِينِهِمْ قَالُوا إِنَّا مَعَكُمْ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُسْتَهْزِئُونَ

আৰু যেতিয়া সিহঁতে মুমিনসকলৰ লগত সাক্ষাৎ কৰে, তেতিয়া সিহঁতে কয়, ‘আমি ঈমান আনিছো’, আৰু যেতিয়া সিহঁতে অকলশৰীয়াকৈ সিহঁতৰ চয়তানসকলৰ লগত একত্ৰিত হয়, তেতিয়া কয়, ‘নিশ্চয় আমি তোমালোকৰ লগতেই আছো’। আমিতো কেৱল উপহাসকাৰী।

[2:14] And (Wa) when (Izaa) they meet (Laquu') those who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanna), they say (Qaaluu'), 

"We have believed (Aamannaa)," but (Wa) when (Izaa) they retreat (Khalaw') to (ilaa) their devils(Shayaatiini-him), they say (Qaaluu'), "Indeed, we (Innaa) are with you (Maåkum’); we (Nah'nu) were only 

(Innama) mocking (Mus'tah'ziuun)."

وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ عَدُوًّا شَيَاطِينَ الْإِنْسِ وَالْجِنِّ يُوحِي بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَىٰ بَعْضٍ زُخْرُفَ الْقَوْلِ غُرُورًا ۚ وَلَوْ شَاءَ رَبُّكَ مَا فَعَلُوهُ ۖ فَذَرْهُمْ وَمَا يَفْتَرُونَ

আৰু এইদৰে আমি মানৱ আৰু জ্বিনৰ মাজৰ পৰা চয়তানসকলক প্ৰত্যেক নবীৰ শত্ৰু বনাইছো, প্ৰতাৰণাৰ উদ্দেশ্যে সিহঁতে ইজনে সিজনক চমকপ্ৰদ বাক্যৰ কুমন্ত্ৰণা দিয়ে। তোমাৰ প্ৰতিপালকে ইচ্ছা কৰিলে সিহঁতে এইবোৰ নকৰিলেহেঁতেন, গতিকে তুমি সিহঁতক আৰু সিহঁতৰ মিছা ৰটনাক পৰিত্যাগ কৰা।

🔷২:১৫

اللَّهُ يَسْتَهْزِئُ بِهِمْ وَيَمُدُّهُمْ فِي طُغْيَانِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ

আল্লাহে সিহঁতৰ লগত উপহাস কৰে  আৰু সিহঁতক সিহঁতৰ অবাধ্যতাত বিভ্ৰান্ত হৈ ঘূৰি ফুৰাৰ অৱকাশ দিয়ে।

[2:15] GOD (Ellahu) mocks them (Yas'tah'ziu Bi-him’) and (Wa) extends them (Yamuddu-hum) in (Fii) their 

transgression (Tug'yaani-him), straying (Ya'mahuun).

🔷২:১৬

أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ اشْتَرَوُا الضَّلَالَةَ بِالْهُدَىٰ فَمَا رَبِحَتْ تِجَارَتُهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا مُهْتَدِينَ

ইহঁতেই সেইসকল লোক, যিসকলে হিদায়তৰ বিনিময়ত ভ্ৰষ্টতা কিনি লৈছে । কিন্তু সিহঁতৰ ব্যৱসায় লাভজনক হোৱা নাই, আৰু সিহঁত হিদায়তপ্ৰাপ্তও নহয়।

[2:16] Those (U'laaika) are the ones who (Ellaziina) have traded (Esh'tarawu') the Guidance (El'Hudaa) for 

(Bi) error (Ed'Dolaalata), so (Fa) their business (Tijaaratu-hum) has not profited (Rabihat'), nor (Wamaa) have 

they been (Kaanu') guided (Muh'tadiin).

৪১:১৭

وَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَهَدَيْنَاهُمْ فَاسْتَحَبُّوا الْعَمَىٰ عَلَى الْهُدَىٰ فَأَخَذَتْهُمْ صَاعِقَةُ الْعَذَابِ الْهُونِ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ

আৰু ছামূদ সম্প্ৰদায়, আমি সিহঁতক পথনিৰ্দেশ কৰিছিলো, কিন্তু সিহঁতে সৎপথৰ পৰিবৰ্তে অন্ধপথত চলাটোহে পছন্দ কৰিছিল। ফলত লাঞ্ছনাদায়ক শাস্তিৰ বজ্ৰাঘাতে সিহঁতক কৰায়ত্ত কৰিলে; সিহঁতে যি অৰ্জন কৰিছিল তাৰ পৰিণামত।

৬৩:৩

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ آمَنُوا ثُمَّ كَفَرُوا فَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ

এয়া এইবাবেই যে, সিহঁতে ঈমান আনাৰ পিছত কুফৰী কৰিছে। ফলত সিহঁতৰ অন্তৰত মোহৰ মাৰি দিয়া হৈছে; সেয়ে সিহঁত নুবুজা হৈছে।

مَثَلُهُمْ كَمَثَلِ الَّذِي اسْتَوْقَدَ نَارًا فَلَمَّا أَضَاءَتْ مَا حَوْلَهُ ذَهَبَ اللَّهُ بِنُورِهِمْ وَتَرَكَهُمْ فِي ظُلُمَاتٍ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ

সিহঁতৰ উদাহৰণ সেই ব্যক্তিৰ দৰে, যিয়ে জুই জ্বলালে। তাৰ পিছত যেতিয়া সেই জুয়ে তাৰ চাৰিওফালে আলোকিত কৰিলে, তেতিয়া আল্লাহে সিহঁতৰ জ্যোতি অপসাৰণ কৰি নিলে আৰু সিহঁতক এনেকুৱা অন্ধকাৰত এৰি দিলে যে, সিহঁতে দেখিবলৈ নোপোৱা হ’ল ।

[2:17] Their example (Mathalu-hum) is like (Ka) the example (Mathali) of the one who (Ellazii) ignited (Es'taw'qada) a fire (Naaran), but (Fa) when (Lamma) it illuminated (Adoa’at') what (Maa) was around it (Haw'la-hu), GOD (Ellahu) took away (Zahaba Bi) their light (Nuuri-him) and (Wa) left them (Taraka-hum)

in (Fii) darknesses (Zulumaatin), they could not (Laa) see (Yub'siruun);

📍Verse/Note:

2:17-18 These pursuers of temporary and easy gains may be compared to one who, in the dark night of the jungle, lights a fire to find the way and the fire brightens the surroundings momentarily, but when it goes out, he finds himself in total darkness. In other words, the glitter of quickly-acquired gains initially dazzles the eyes like the fire in the wilderness. However, the brightness is

followed by a darkness which renders one incapable of seeing, hearing or understanding (*8/22). There is, then, no way left whereby such a person can return to the right path.

صُمٌّ بُكْمٌ عُمْيٌ فَهُمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ

সিহঁত কলা, বোবা, অন্ধ। সেয়ে সিহঁত আৰু উভতি নাহিব।

[2:18] deaf (Summun), dumb (Buk'mun) and blind (Um'yun); so (Fa) they (Hum) do not (Laa) revert (Yar'jiuun).

وَضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلًا رَجُلَيْنِ أَحَدُهُمَا أَبْكَمُ لَا يَقْدِرُ عَلَىٰ شَيْءٍ وَهُوَ كَلٌّ عَلَىٰ مَوْلَاهُ أَيْنَمَا يُوَجِّهْهُ لَا يَأْتِ بِخَيْرٍ ۖ هَلْ يَسْتَوِي هُوَ وَمَنْ يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ ۙ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ

আল্লাহে আৰু উপমা দিছে দুজন ব্যক্তিৰঃ সিহঁতৰ এজন বোবা, কোনো বস্তুৰ ওপৰত তাৰ অধিকাৰ নাই আৰু সি তাৰ অভিভাৱকৰ ওপৰত বোজা হৈ আছে; য’তেই তাক পঠোৱা নহওঁক কিয় সি কোনো কল্যাণ লৈ আহিব নোৱাৰে; তেনেহ’লে এই ব্যক্তি সেই ব্যক্তিৰ সমান হ’ব পাৰেনে যিয়ে ন্যায়ৰ নিৰ্দেশ দিয়ে আৰু যিজন আছে সৰল পথত?

وَلَا تَقْفُ مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ ۚ إِنَّ السَّمْعَ وَالْبَصَرَ وَالْفُؤَادَ كُلُّ أُولَٰئِكَ كَانَ عَنْهُ مَسْئُولًا

আৰু যি বিষয়ে তোমাৰ কোনো জ্ঞান নাই তাৰ অনুসৰণ নকৰিবা; নিশ্চয় কাণ, চকু আৰু হৃদয়- ইয়াৰ প্ৰত্যেকটোৰ বিষয়ে কৈফিয়ত তলব কৰা হ’ব।

أَوْ كَصَيِّبٍ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فِيهِ ظُلُمَاتٌ وَرَعْدٌ وَبَرْقٌ يَجْعَلُونَ أَصَابِعَهُمْ فِي آذَانِهِمْ مِنَ الصَّوَاعِقِ حَذَرَ الْمَوْتِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ مُحِيطٌ بِالْكَافِرِينَ

অথবা (সিহঁতৰ উদাহৰণ) ধাৰাসাৰ বৰষুণৰ দৰে, য’ত আছে ঘোৰ অন্ধকাৰ, বজ্ৰধ্বনি  আৰু বিদ্যুত চমক। সিহঁতে বজ্ৰধ্বনিত মৃত্যুৰ ভয়ত আঙুলিৰে কাণত সোপা দিয়ে। আৰু আল্লাহে কাফিৰসকলক চাৰিওফালৰ পৰা আগুৰি আছে ।

[2:19] Or (Aw') like (Ka) the raining clouds (Soyyibin) of (Mina) the sky (Es'Samaai) wherein (Fiihi) are 

darknesses 1

(Zulumaatun), thunder 2

(Ra'dun) and (Wa) lightning 3

(Bar'qun). They put (Yaj'åluuna) their 

fingers (Asoabiå-hum) in (Fii) their ears (Aazaani-him) from (Mina) the thunderbolts (Ed'Sowaaeqi) being 

cautious (Hazara) of death (El'Maw'ti). But (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) encompasses (Muhiitu Bi) the disbelievers 

(El'Kaafiriin).

19-20 Hypocrisy may lead to some gains, but these gains are always mixed with losses, as a cloud which brings life-giving rain is also accompanied by darkness, thunder and lightning. The Mun afiqeen desire to profit from the rainfall but to be secure from the havoc caused by thunder and lightning, they stuff their fingers in their ears believing that they will not perish if they can shut out 

the terrifying noises of the storm. They are unable to perceive that they cannot protect themselves from lightning by simply shutting their ears, as Allah s Law of Mukaf at encompasses all those who deny the truth (7/183, 29/54, 79/36, 82/16). 

 It needs also to be remembered that though lightening can sometimes show the way to a traveller lost in the wilderness on a dark, stormy night, it is not a sure guide since it occurs only in flashes, each flash being succeeded by darkness deeper than before. Likewise, human intellect, brightens the path only momentarily. It is the Divine guidance which provides constant light to those who tread the right path. 

 If We had wished, We could dispossess the Mun afiqeen of all means of acquiring 

knowledge (namely, the faculty of perception and hearing), so that they could not benefit from the means of nurture provided by nature. But we did not do this. We have prescribed Laws for all events in the universe and We do not infringe upon these Laws even though We have the power to 

do so(pz).

2:19 Another example is that of a rainstorm from the sky with darkness, thunder and lightning. They plug their ears with their fingers for fear of death. And God encompasses the deniers.

Note.

Plugging the ears will not make the storm disappear since denial is no solution to any problem. His changeless laws are implemented in the Universe without any exceptions and none can escape them. 7:183, 14:8, 29:54, 30:24(sa).

🔷২:২০(The Light of Faith).

يَكَادُ الْبَرْقُ يَخْطَفُ أَبْصَارَهُمْ ۖ كُلَّمَا أَضَاءَ لَهُمْ مَشَوْا فِيهِ وَإِذَا أَظْلَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ قَامُوا ۚ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَذَهَبَ بِسَمْعِهِمْ وَأَبْصَارِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

এনে লাগে যেন বিজুলীৰ চমকনিয়ে সিহঁতৰ দৃষ্টিশক্তি হৰণ কৰি নিবহি । যেতিয়াই সিহঁতৰ বাবে অলপ পোহৰ হয় তেতিয়াই সিহঁতে আগবাঢ়ি যায় আৰু যেতিয়াই অন্ধকাৰ হয় তেতিয়াই সিহঁত থমকি ৰয় । আল্লাহে ইচ্ছা কৰিলে সিহঁতৰ শ্ৰৱণশক্তি আৰু দৃষ্টিশক্তি হৰণ কৰিব পাৰিলেহেঁতেন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সকলো বস্তুৰ ওপৰত ক্ষমতাৱান ।

[2:20] The lightning (El'Bar'qu) almost (Yakaadu) snatches (Yakh'tafu) their eyesight (Ab'soara-hum). Whenever (Kullamaa) it illuminates (Adoa'a) for them (Lahum), they walk (Mashaw') therein (Fiihi); but (Wa) when (Izaa) it becomes dark (Az'lama) on them (Ålai'him), they stand (Qaamu). And (Wa) if (Law')GOD had willed (Shaa'a-llahu), HE could have (La) taken away (Zahaba Bi) their hearing (Sam'ihim) and (Wa) their eyesight (Ab'soari-him). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is omnipotent (Qadiiru) over (Ålaa) all (Kulli)

things (Shai'in).

📍Verse/Note:

2:20 The lightning almost snatches away their sight and vision. They walk a few steps, in a stop and go fashion. When the light helps them, they walk therein. And when darkness prevails on them, they stand still. And if God willed, He could take away their faculties of hearing and seeing. For, God is Able to do all things.

Note.

Absaarahum = Their sight = Their vision = Their sight and insight. Those who defy reason, eventually lose their perceptual and conceptual faculties. God is the Powerful Designer of His laws and He has supreme control over all things. He has prescribed laws for every thing and event in the Universe. And He does not infringe upon these laws even though He is Able to do so. 2:201, 6:96, 7:182, 10:5, 11:15, 13:8, 14:16, 17:18, 25:2, 29:54, 30:24, 36:38, 42:20, 54:49, 65:3, 79:36, 87:3. Those who reject the Divine messages and rely solely on their intellect do not realize that revelation is to the human intellect what sunlight is to the human eye. It takes them out of darkness into light. 2:257(sa).
