9:75-76(Hypocrites seek Wealth but are Stingy with Alms)

🍱৯:৭০(Advising the Hypocrites to learn a Lesson from Those before Them).
أَلَمْ يَأْتِهِمْ نَبَأُ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَعَادٍ وَثَمُودَ وَقَوْمِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَأَصْحَابِ مَدْيَنَ وَالْمُؤْتَفِكَاتِ ۚ أَتَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ ۖ فَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ وَلَٰكِنْ كَانُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ
সিহঁতৰ পূৰ্বৱৰ্তী নূহ, আদ আৰু ছামূদৰ সম্প্ৰদায়, ইব্ৰাহীমৰ সম্প্ৰদায় আৰু মাদইয়ান লগতে বিধ্বস্ত নগৰৰ অধিবাসীসকলৰ সংবাদ সিহঁতৰ ওচৰত অহা নাইনে? সিহঁতৰ ওচৰত স্পষ্ট প্ৰমাণাদিসহ সিহঁতৰ ৰাছুলসকল আহিছিল। এতেকে আল্লাহ এনেকুৱা নহয় যে, সিহঁতৰ ওপৰত অন্যায় কৰিছে বৰং সিহঁতে নিজেই নিজৰ প্ৰতিহে অন্যায় কৰিছিল।

[9:70] Has (A-) the news (Nabau) of those (Ellaziina) before them (Min Qab'li-him') not (-lam') reached them (Ya'ti-him); the people (Qaw'mi) of Noah (Nuuhin), Ad (Åådin), Thamud (Thamuuda), the people 
(Qaw'mi) of Abraham (Ib'raahiima), the companions (As'haabi) of Midian (Mad'yana), as well as (Wa) the 
homophiles (the people of Lot) (El'Mu'tafikaati)? Their messengers (Rusulu-hum) brought them (Atat'hum' Bi)
proofs (El'Bayyinaati). For (Fa) GOD (Ellahu) was (Kaana) not (Maa) to (Li) wrong them (Yaz'lima-hum'), but (Walaakin) they were (Kaanuu') wronging (Yaz'limuun) themselves (Anfusa-hum').

9:70 Have, then, the stories of those who preceded them never come within the ken of these [hypocrites and deniers of the truth]?-[the stories] of Noah's people, and of [the tribes of] `Ad and Thamud, and of Abraham's people, and of the folk of Madyan, and of the cities that were overthrown?♨️ To [all of] them their apostles had come with all evidence of the truth. [but they rejected them:] and so it was not God who wronged them [by His punishment], but it was they who wronged themselves.

Note♨️
I.e., Sodom and Gomorrah, the cities of Lot's people (see 7:80 and 11:69). References to the chastisement meted out to Noah's people as well as to the `Ad and Thamud and the folk of Madyan (the Biblical Midian) are found in several places in the Qur'an; see, in particular, 7:59 and 85-93, and the corresponding notes. The reference to "Abraham's people" seems to point to the Babylonians, who rejected the monotheism preached by him, and to the overthrow of their first empire, at about 1100 B.c. by the Assyrians(as).

وَالْمُؤْتَفِكَةَ أَهْوَىٰ
আৰু তেৱেঁই ওলোটাই দিয়া আবাসভূমিক নিক্ষেপ কৰিছিল,

وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتُ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ ۚ يَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَيُقِيمُونَ الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَيُطِيعُونَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ سَيَرْحَمُهُمُ اللَّهُ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ
মুমিন পুৰুষ আৰু মুমিনা নাৰী ইজনে সিজনৰ বন্ধু, সিহঁতে সৎকৰ্মৰ আদেশ দিয়ে আৰু অসৎকৰ্মত বাধা দিয়ে🔷, চালাত কায়েম কৰে যাকাত প্ৰদান কৰে⏰ আৰু আল্লাহ আৰু তেওঁৰ ৰাছুলৰ আনুগত্য কৰে🌺; এওঁলোককেই আল্লাহে অনতিপলমে দয়া কৰিব। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ পৰাক্ৰমশালী, প্ৰজ্ঞাময়।

[9:71] And (Wa) the believing men (El'Mu'minuuna) and the believing women (Wal' Mu'minaatu) are allies(Aw'liyaa'u) of each other (Ba'duhum Ba'din). They call for (Ya'muruuna Bi) kindness (El'Ma'ruufi) and (Wa)refrain from (Yan'haw'na Åni) abomination (El'Munkari), and they establish (Yuqiimuuna) Prayer (Es'Solaata) and give (Yu'tuuna) Charity (Ez'Zakaata), and they obey (Yutiiuuna) GOD (Ellahu) and HIS 
messenger (Rasuula-hu). Those (U'laaika) are the ones whom (-hum) GOD (Ellahu) will have mercy upon (-Sa Yar'hamu-). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is Almighty (Åziizun) and Wise (Hakiim).

📍Verse/Note-1
(9:71-72) On the other hand, believers - men and women - are friends to each other. They enjoin what is recognized as good by the Quran and forbid that which the Quran does not so recognise. They establish the Nizam of Salat and Zakat. They obey the Divine Order. They receive Rahmat from Allah Who is Powerful and Wise. To them - men and women - Allah has promised gardens wherein flow streams and wherein they shall abide in goodly mansions erected in the midst of perpetual greenery. They shall also have another blessing still higher than these - a life harmonious with Allah s plan. This indeed is the highest achievement which human beings can attain (9/100, 47/26-28, 57/12, 66/8, 76/30)(pz).

📍Note-3
The believing men and women, working together, do not deliver empty lectures. They enjoin virtue and forbid vice by personal example, knowing that the Qur’an is the Eternal Criterion of right and wrong. 2:185. ‘Good’ and ‘Evil’, ‘Right’ and ‘Wrong’ are not vague entities. The Qur’an clearly defines them in 2:177 and many other verses. In short, good is all that helps people and evil is all that hurts them(sa).

وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا وَمَسَاكِنَ طَيِّبَةً فِي جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ ۚ وَرِضْوَانٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
আল্লাহে মুমিন পুৰুষ আৰু মুমিনা নাৰীসকলক জান্নাতৰ প্ৰতিশ্ৰুতি দিছে—যাৰ তলত নদীসমূহ প্ৰবাহিত, তাত তেওঁলোক স্থায়ী হ’ব; আৰু (প্ৰতিশ্ৰুতি দিছে) স্থায়ী জান্নাতসমূহত উত্তম বাসস্থানৰ, আৰু আল্লাহৰ সন্তুষ্টিয়েই সৰ্বশ্ৰেষ্ঠ। এইটোৱেই মহাসাফল্য।

[9:72] GOD has promised (Waåda-llahu) the believing men (El'Mu'miniina) and the believing women (Wal' Mu'minaati) gardens (Jannaatin) beneath which (Min Tah'ti-haa) rivers (El'An'haaru) flow (Taj'rii), 
eternally (Khaalidiina) therein (Fiihaa), and (Wa) pleasant (Toyyibatan) houses (Masaakina) in (Fii) the gardens (Jannati) of Eden (Åd'nin), but (Wa) the approval (Rid'waanun) of GOD (Minallahi) is greater 
(Ak'baru); that (Zaalika) is (Huwa) a great (El'Åziim) achievement (El'Faw'zu).

📍Note:
Can a foetus imagine, from the comfort of the womb, what wonders lie in its coming life?. 
Similarly, a human cannot envisage what the life yet to come will be like and descriptions in which he finds harmony are used as allegories to describe this future life. There is nothing in a caterpillar that tells you it's going to be a butterfly and nothing in a human being that reveals what he is to 
become after the transition period of 'death'. God's message: since the messenger is no longer here, it is God's message, the message that the messenger conveyed, that should be followed. God's greatness: (Arabic: Allahi-akbar). See verses 6:19; 29:45(sig).

🍱৯:৭৩
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ جَاهِدِ الْكُفَّارَ وَالْمُنَافِقِينَ وَاغْلُظْ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ وَمَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ ۖ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ
হে নবী! কাফিৰ আৰু মুনাফিকসকলৰ বিৰুদ্ধে জিহাদ☎️ কৰা, সিহঁতৰ প্ৰতি কঠোৰ হোৱা; আৰু সিহঁতৰ আবাসস্থল জাহান্নাম, আৰু সেয়া কিমান যে নিকৃষ্ট প্ৰত্যাৱৰ্তন স্থল!

[9:73] O you (Yaa Ayyuha) Prophet (En'Nabiyyu), fight (Jaahidi) the disbelievers (El'Kuffaara) and the hypocrites (Wal' Munaafiqiina) and be rough (Eg'luz') against them (Ålai'him). For (Wa) their refuge 
(Ma'waa-hum) is Hell (Jahannam), and (Wa) wretched (Bi'sa) is the destiny (El'Masiir)(*66:9)

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ جَاهِدِ الْكُفَّارَ وَالْمُنَافِقِينَ وَاغْلُظْ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ وَمَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ ۖ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ
হে নবী! কাফিৰ আৰু মুনাফিকসকলৰ বিৰুদ্ধে জিহাদ কৰা আৰু সিহঁতৰ প্ৰতি কঠোৰ হোৱা। সিহঁতৰ আশ্ৰয়স্থল জাহান্নাম আৰু সেইটো কিমান যে নিকৃষ্ট গন্তব্যস্থল!)

9:73 O PROPHET! Strive hard against the deniers of the truth and the hypocrites, and be adamant with them.*And [if they do not repent,] their goal shall be hell -and how vile a journey's end!

Note*
I.e., "do not compromise with them in matters of principle". Regarding the meaning of the verb jahada ("he strove hard", i.e., in a righteous cause), see surah 4:96, note.The imperative jahid is obviously used here in its spiritual connotation, implying efforts at convincing both the outspoken unbelievers and the waverers, including the various types of hypocrites spoken of in the preceding passages. Although the imperative is addressed in the first instance to the Prophet, it is considered to be morally binding on all believers(as).

يَحْلِفُونَ بِاللَّهِ مَا قَالُوا وَلَقَدْ قَالُوا كَلِمَةَ الْكُفْرِ وَكَفَرُوا بَعْدَ إِسْلَامِهِمْ وَهَمُّوا بِمَا لَمْ يَنَالُوا ۚ وَمَا نَقَمُوا إِلَّا أَنْ أَغْنَاهُمُ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ ۚ فَإِنْ يَتُوبُوا يَكُ خَيْرًا لَهُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ يَتَوَلَّوْا يُعَذِّبْهُمُ اللَّهُ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ۚ وَمَا لَهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مِنْ وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ
সিহঁতে আল্লাহৰ শপত লৈ কয় যে, সিহঁতে একো কোৱা নাই; অথচ সিহঁতে কুফৰী বাক্য কৈছে আৰু ইছলাম গ্ৰহণৰ পিছত আকৌ কুফৰী কৰিছে; সিহঁতে এনেকুৱা সংকল্প কৰিছিল যিটো সিহঁতে পোৱা নাই। আল্লাহ আৰু তেওঁৰ ৰাছুলে নিজ অনুগ্ৰহত সিহঁতক (মুছলিমসকলক) অভাৱমুক্ত কৰিছিল বুলিয়ে সিহঁতে (কাফিৰ মুনাফিকসকলে) বিৰোধিতা কৰিছিল। এতেকে যদি সিহঁতে তাওবা কৰে তেন্তে সিহঁতৰ বাবে ভাল হ’ব, আৰু সিহঁতে মুখ ঘূৰাই ল’লে আল্লাহে পৃথিৱীত আৰু আখিৰাতত সিহঁতক যন্ত্ৰণাদায়ক শাস্তি দিব; আৰু পৃথিৱীত সিহঁতৰ কোনো অভিভাৱক নাই আৰু নাই কোনো সাহায্যকাৰীও।

[9:74] They swear (Yah'lifuuna) by GOD (Billahi) that they have not (Maa) said it (-Qaalu'), while (Wa)they had certainly (Laqad') stated (Qaalu') the word (Kalimata) of disbelief (El'Kuf'ri), and (Wa) they 
disbelieved (Kafaru') after (Ba'da) their submission (*49:17) (Is'laami-him') and (Wa) were interested (Hammu')in what (Bimaa) they have not (Lam') attained (Yanaalu'). And (Wa) they only (Maa illaa) became hostile 
(Naqamuu') because (An') GOD (Ellahu) and HIS messenger (Rasuulu-hu) had enriched them (the believers)(Ag'naa-humu) from (Min) HIS favour (Fad'li-hi). Therefore (Fa) if (In) they (the hypocrites)should repent 
(Yatuubu'), it will be (Yaku) better (Khai'ran) for them (Lahum'); but (Wa) if (In) they turn away (Yatawallaw'), GOD (Ellahu) will punish them (Yuåzzib'humu) with a painful (Aliiman) punishment (Åzaaban) in (Fii) the world (Ed'Dun'yaa) and the hereafter (Wal' Aakhirati). And (Wa) they will have (Lahum') no (Maa Min) guardian (Waliyyin) nor (Walaa) helper (Nasiir) on earth (Fiil' Ar'di).

يَمُنُّونَ عَلَيْكَ أَنْ أَسْلَمُوا ۖ قُلْ لَا تَمُنُّوا عَلَيَّ إِسْلَامَكُمْ ۖ بَلِ اللَّهُ يَمُنُّ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ هَدَاكُمْ لِلْإِيمَانِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
সিহঁতে ভাৱে যে, সিহঁতে ইছলাম গ্ৰহণ কৰি তোমাক ধন্য কৰিছে। কোৱা, ‘তোমালোকে ইছলাম গ্ৰহণ কৰি মোক ধন্য কৰিছা বুলি নাভাৱিবা; বৰং আল্লাহেই তোমালোকক ঈমানৰ দিশত পৰিচালিত কৰি তোমালোককহে ধন্য কৰিছে, যদি তোমালোকে সত্যবাদী হোৱা’।)

আৰু সিহঁতে তেওঁলোকক নিৰ্যাতন কৰিছিল কেৱল এইকাৰণে যে, তেওঁলোকে ঈমান আনিছিল পৰাক্ৰমশালী আৰু প্ৰশংসাৰ যোগ্য আল্লাহৰ ওপৰত,
85:8 Whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the Owner of praise. (*5:59, **22:40)

قُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ هَلْ تَنْقِمُونَ مِنَّا إِلَّا أَنْ آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَمَا أُنْزِلَ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَأَنَّ أَكْثَرَكُمْ فَاسِقُونَ
কোৱা, ‘হে কিতাবীসকল! একমাত্ৰ এই কাৰণেই তোমালোকে আমাৰ লগত শত্ৰুতা পোষণ কৰা নেকি যে, আমি আল্লাহৰ প্ৰতি আৰু আমাৰ প্ৰতি যি অৱতীৰ্ণ হৈছে আৰু যি আমাৰ পূৰ্বে অৱতীৰ্ণ হৈছে তাত ঈমান আনিছো আৰু নিশ্চয় তোমালোকৰ অধিকাংশই ফাছিক্ব’।
২২:৪০**
الَّذِينَ أُخْرِجُوا مِنْ دِيَارِهِمْ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ إِلَّا أَنْ يَقُولُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ۗ وَلَوْلَا دَفْعُ اللَّهِ النَّاسَ بَعْضَهُمْ بِبَعْضٍ لَهُدِّمَتْ صَوَامِعُ وَبِيَعٌ وَصَلَوَاتٌ وَمَسَاجِدُ يُذْكَرُ فِيهَا اسْمُ اللَّهِ كَثِيرًا ۗ وَلَيَنْصُرَنَّ اللَّهُ مَنْ يَنْصُرُهُ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَقَوِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ
তেওঁলোকক নিজ ঘৰ-বাৰীৰ পৰা অন্যায়ভাৱে বহিষ্কাৰ কৰা হৈছে, তেওঁলোকৰ অপৰাধ কেৱল এইটোৱে যে, তেওঁলোকে কয়, ‘আমাৰ ৰব আল্লাহ’। আল্লাহে যদি মানুহৰ এটা দলক আন এটা দলৰ দ্বাৰা প্ৰতিহত নকৰিলেহেঁতেন, তেন্তে বিধ্বস্ত হৈ গ’লহেঁতেন খৃষ্টান সন্যাসীসকলৰ উপাসনালয়, গীৰ্জা, ইয়াহুদীসকলৰ উপাসনালয়ৰ লগতে মছজিদসমূহ—য’ত বেছি বেছি আল্লাহৰ নাম স্মৰণ কৰা হয়। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহে তাক সহায় কৰে যিয়ে আল্লাহক সহায় কৰে। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ মহাশক্তিমান, পৰাক্ৰমশালী।)

🍱৯:৭৫(Hypocrites seek Wealth but are Stingy with Alms).
۞ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ عَاهَدَ اللَّهَ لَئِنْ آتَانَا مِنْ فَضْلِهِ لَنَصَّدَّقَنَّ وَلَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
আৰু সিহঁতৰ কিছুমানে আল্লাহৰ ওচৰত অঙ্গীকাৰ কৰিছিল যে, ‘আল্লাহে নিজ কৃপাত আমাক দান কৰিলে আমি নিশ্চয় চাদাক্বা কৰিম আৰু অৱশ্যে সৎকৰ্মশীলসকলৰ অন্তৰ্ভুক্ত হম’।

[9:75] And (Wa) among them (Min'hum) are those who (Man') make an agreement with GOD (Ååhada-llaha) that, "If (Lain') HE gives us (Aataa-naa) from (Min) HIS favour (Fad'li-hi), we would (La) be charitable 
(Nassoddaqanna) and (Wa) would (La) be (Nakuunanna) among (Mina) the righteous (Es'Soalihiin)."

📍Verse/Note:
(9;75-76) Some of them had made a pledge to Allah, if Allah gave them riches out of His bounty they would certainly contribute towards the cause of Allah and thus be amongst the Saliheen. But when 
Allah gave them riches out of His bounty, they became miserly and retracted from their covenant(pz).

৯:৭৬
فَلَمَّا آتَاهُمْ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ بَخِلُوا بِهِ وَتَوَلَّوْا وَهُمْ مُعْرِضُونَ
তাৰ পিছত যেতিয়া তেওঁ সিহঁতক নিজ অনুগ্ৰহৰ পৰা দান কৰিলে, তেতিয়া সিহঁতে এই বিষয়ে কৃপণতা কৰিলে আৰু বিমুখ হৈ উভতি গ'ল।

[9:76] But (Fa) when (Lammaa) HE gives them (Aataa-hum) from (Min) HIS favour (Fad'li-hi), they become stingy (Bakhilu') with it (Bihi) and (Wa) turn away (Tawallaw') while (Wa) they (Hum) are avoiding (Mu'riduun).
