Mosa: The Children of Israel safely cross the Sea, but still held on to the Idea of Idol Worshipping.

🌈৭:১৩৮

وَجَاوَزْنَا بِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ الْبَحْرَ فَأَتَوْا عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍ يَعْكُفُونَ عَلَىٰ أَصْنَامٍ لَهُمْ ۚ قَالُوا يَا مُوسَى اجْعَلْ لَنَا إِلَٰهًا كَمَا لَهُمْ آلِهَةٌ ۚ قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ قَوْمٌ تَجْهَلُونَ

আৰু বনী ইছৰাঈলক আমিয়েই সাগৰ পাৰ(+) কৰাই দিছো, তাৰ পিছত সিহঁতে মূৰ্তিপূজাত আসক্ত এটা জাতিৰ ওচৰত উপস্থিত হয়। সিহঁতে ক’লে, ‘হে মুছা! এওঁলোকৰ উপাস্যৰ দৰে আমাৰ বাবেও এজন উপাস্য স্থিৰ কৰি দিয়া’। তেওঁ ক’লে, ‘তোমালোক এটা মূৰ্খ সম্প্ৰদায়’।

২:৫০

وَإِذْ فَرَقْنَا بِكُمُ الْبَحْرَ فَأَنْجَيْنَاكُمْ وَأَغْرَقْنَا آلَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْظُرُونَ

আৰু স্মৰণ কৰা, যেতিয়া আমি তোমালোকৰ বাবে সাগৰক দুভাগ কৰিছিলো  আৰু তোমালোকক উদ্ধাৰ কৰিছিলো আৰু তোমালোকৰ চকুৰ আগতে ফিৰআউনৰ বংশক ডুবাই মাৰিছিলো।

২:৫১

وَإِذْ وَاعَدْنَا مُوسَىٰ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً ثُمَّ اتَّخَذْتُمُ الْعِجْلَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ وَأَنْتُمْ ظَالِمُونَ

আৰু স্মৰণ কৰা, যেতিয়া আমি মুছাৰ লগত চল্লিশ ৰাতিৰ বাবে প্ৰতিশ্ৰুতি কৰিছিলো , তাৰ (গুচি যোৱাৰ) পিছত তোমালোকে দামুৰিটোক (উপাস্যৰূপে) গ্ৰহণ কৰিছিলা , আৰু যালিম হৈ গৈছিলা।].

[7:138] And (Wa) We made the Children of Israel (Banii Is'raa'iila) pass (-Jaawaz'naa) through (Bi) the sea 

(El'Bah'ra), and (Fa) they came across (Ataw' Ålaa) a people (Qaw'min) who were devoted (Ya'kufuuna) to 

(Ålaa) idols (As'naamin) of theirs (Lahum'). They (the Children of Israel) said (Qaalu'), "O (Yaa) Moses (Muusa), make 

(Ej'ål) a god (ilaahan) for us (Lanaa) just as (Kamaa) they have (Lahum') gods  (Aalihatun)." He (Moses) said 

(Qaala), "Indeed, you (Innakum') are an ignorant (Taj'haluun) people (Qaw'mun).

📍Verse/Note:

(7:138-141) The Bani-Israel were brought across the sea to a place whose inhabitants were devoted 

to the worship of some of their idols. They said to Moses: O Moses, make for us a god such as they 

have [*] . Moses replied: You are a very ignorant people. The way which these idolaters follow 

will surely ruin them since they are clearly in the wrong. Should I seek for you a god other than 

Allah who has exalted you over other people? He rescued you from the people of Pharaoh who had 

subjected you to severe hardships, degrading the respectable members amongst you and elevating 

those devoid of courage and vitality (7/127). Thus Allah bestowed a great favour upon you. (2/49, 

40/25)(pz).

(* The Bani-Israel had lived for a long time amongst the Egyptians who were idolaters and had 

acquired many of their customs whilst not renouncing their own religion. It requires a considerable period of time to eradicate such deep-ingrained habits and practices).

🌈৭:১৩৯

إِنَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ مُتَبَّرٌ مَا هُمْ فِيهِ وَبَاطِلٌ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ

‘নিশ্চয় এইসকল লোক য’ত লিপ্ত হৈ আছে সেয়া ধ্বংসশীল আৰু সিহঁতে যি কৰি আছে সেয়াও অমূলক’।

[7:139] "Indeed (Inna), these people (Haaulaai) will abjure (Mutabbarun) what (Maa) they (Hum') are into

(Fiihi), and (Wa) what (Maa) they have been (Kaanu') doing (Ya'maluun) is in vain (Baatilun)."

🌈৭:১৪০

قَالَ أَغَيْرَ اللَّهِ أَبْغِيكُمْ إِلَٰهًا وَهُوَ فَضَّلَكُمْ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ

তেওঁ আৰু ক’লে, ‘মই আল্লাহৰ বাহিৰে তোমালোকৰ বাবে আন কোনো ইলাহ সন্ধান কৰিম নেকি অথচ তেৱেঁই তোমালোকক সৃষ্টিজগতৰ ওপৰত শ্ৰেষ্ঠত্ব প্ৰদান কৰিছে’?

[7:140] He (Moses) said (Qaala), "Is it other than GOD (A-gai'ra-llahi) I should desire for you (Ab'gii-kum) as 

a god (ilaahan) while (Wa) HE (Huwa) has favoured you (Faddola-kum') over (Ålaa) all people (El'Åålamiin)?

🌈৭:১৪১

وَإِذْ أَنْجَيْنَاكُمْ مِنْ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَسُومُونَكُمْ سُوءَ الْعَذَابِ ۖ يُقَتِّلُونَ أَبْنَاءَكُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيُونَ نِسَاءَكُمْ ۚ وَفِي ذَٰلِكُمْ بَلَاءٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ عَظِيمٌ

আৰু স্মৰণ কৰা, যেতিয়া আমি তোমালোকক ফিৰআউনৰ অনুসাৰীসকলৰ হাতৰ পৰা উদ্ধাৰ কৰিছো, যিসকলে তোমালোকক নিকৃষ্ট শাস্তি প্ৰদান কৰিছিল। সিহঁতে তোমালোকৰ পুত্ৰ সন্তানসকলক হত্যা কৰিছিল আৰু নাৰীসকলক জীৱিত ৰাখিছিল; ইয়াত আছিল তোমালোকৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ তৰফৰ পৰা এটা মহা পৰীক্ষা।

[7:141] And (Wa) when (Iz') We rescued you (Anjai'naa-kum) from (Min') the people (Aali) of Pharaoh 

(Fir'åw'na), inflicting on you (Yasuumuunakum') evil (Suua) punishment (El'Åzaabi); killing (Yuqattiluuna)

your sons (Ab'naa'a-kum') and (Wa) keeping your women (Nisaa'a-kum') alive (-Yas'tah'yuuna). And (Wa) there 

was a terrible (Åziimu) tribulation (Balaaun) in (Fii) that (Zaalikum) from (Min) your LORD (Rabbi-kum'). 

(2:49)

(২:৪৯

وَإِذْ نَجَّيْنَاكُمْ مِنْ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَسُومُونَكُمْ سُوءَ الْعَذَابِ يُذَبِّحُونَ أَبْنَاءَكُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيُونَ نِسَاءَكُمْ ۚ وَفِي ذَٰلِكُمْ بَلَاءٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ عَظِيمٌ

আৰু স্মৰণ কৰা, যেতিয়া আমি তোমালোকক ফিৰআউনৰ বংশৰ পৰা ৰক্ষা কৰিছিলো। সিহঁতে তোমালোকক বৰ কঠিন শাস্তি দিছিল। তোমালোকৰ পুত্ৰ সন্তানক হত্যা কৰিছিল আৰু কন্যা সন্তানক জীয়াই ৰাখিছিল । আৰু ইয়াত আছিল তোমালোকৰ বাবে তোমালোকৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ পৰা এক মহা পৰীক্ষা।)

🌈৭:১৪২

۞ وَوَاعَدْنَا مُوسَىٰ ثَلَاثِينَ لَيْلَةً وَأَتْمَمْنَاهَا بِعَشْرٍ فَتَمَّ مِيقَاتُ رَبِّهِ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً ۚ وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِأَخِيهِ هَارُونَ اخْلُفْنِي فِي قَوْمِي وَأَصْلِحْ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ سَبِيلَ الْمُفْسِدِينَ

আৰু মুছাৰ বাবে আমি ত্ৰিশ ৰাতিৰ প্ৰতিশ্ৰুতি কৰিছিলো আৰু দহ যোগ কৰি সেয়া পূৰ্ণ কৰিছিলো। এইদৰে তেওঁৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ নিৰ্ধাৰিত সময় চল্লিশ ৰাতিত পূৰ্ণ হৈছিল। মুছাই তেওঁৰ ভাতৃ হাৰুনক ক’লে, ‘মোৰ অনুপস্থিতিত মোৰ সম্প্ৰদায়ৰ মাজত তুমি মোৰ প্ৰতিনিধিত্ব কৰিবা, সংশোধন কৰিবা আৰু বিপৰ্যয় সৃষ্টিকাৰীসকলৰ পথ অনুসৰণ নকৰিবা’।

[7:142] And (Wa) We made an appointment with (Waa'åd'naa) Moses (Muusaa)

for thirty (Thalaathiina)

nights (Nights) and (Wa) completed them (At'mam'naa-ha) with (Bi) ten (Åsh'rin); so (Fa) the appointed

time (Miiqaatu) of his LORD (Rabbi-hi) was completed (Tamma) as forty (Ar'baeena) nights (Lai'latan). And 

(Wa) Moses (Muusaa) said (Qaala) to (Li) his brother (Akhii-hi) Aaron (Haaruuna), "Succeed me (Ekh'luf'nii)

among (Fii) my people (Qaw'mii), and (Wa) be upright (As'lih'), and do not (Walaa) follow (Tattabi') the way 

(Sabiila) of the corrupters (El'Muf'sidiin).”

📍Verse/Note:

(7:142) Then it so happened that Moses as per Our command left his people for thirty nights and We 

added to them ten, whereby the term of forty nights set by his Rabb was fulfilled. While returning, 

Moses said to his brother Aaron: Take my place amongst the people and keep them on the straight 

path. Beware of those who might create mischief (*20/85).

(২০:৮৫*

قَالَ فَإِنَّا قَدْ فَتَنَّا قَوْمَكَ مِنْ بَعْدِكَ وَأَضَلَّهُمُ السَّامِرِيُّ

তেওঁ ক’লে, ‘তুমি গুচি অহাৰ পিছত আমি তোমাৰ সম্প্ৰদায়ক পৰীক্ষাৰ সন্মুখীন কৰিছো, আৰু ছামেৰীয়ে সিহঁতক পথভ্ৰষ্ট কৰিছে’।)

يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ قَدْ أَنْجَيْنَاكُمْ مِنْ عَدُوِّكُمْ وَوَاعَدْنَاكُمْ جَانِبَ الطُّورِ الْأَيْمَنَ وَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَنَّ وَالسَّلْوَىٰ

হে বনী ইছৰাঈল! অৱশ্যে আমি তোমালোকক শত্ৰুৰ পৰা উদ্ধাৰ কৰিছিলো, আৰু আমিয়ে তোমালোকক প্ৰতিশ্ৰুতি দিছিলো তূৰ পৰ্বতৰ সোঁফালে, আৰু তোমালোকৰ ওপৰত মান্না আৰু ছালৱা অৱতীৰ্ণ কৰিছিলো,).

🌈৭:১৪৩

وَلَمَّا جَاءَ مُوسَىٰ لِمِيقَاتِنَا وَكَلَّمَهُ رَبُّهُ قَالَ رَبِّ أَرِنِي أَنْظُرْ إِلَيْكَ ۚ قَالَ لَنْ تَرَانِي وَلَٰكِنِ انْظُرْ إِلَى الْجَبَلِ فَإِنِ اسْتَقَرَّ مَكَانَهُ فَسَوْفَ تَرَانِي ۚ فَلَمَّا تَجَلَّىٰ رَبُّهُ لِلْجَبَلِ جَعَلَهُ دَكًّا وَخَرَّ مُوسَىٰ صَعِقًا ۚ فَلَمَّا أَفَاقَ قَالَ سُبْحَانَكَ تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

আৰু মুছাই যেতিয়া আমাৰ নিৰ্ধাৰিত সময়ত উপস্থিত হ’ল আৰু তেওঁৰ প্ৰতিপালকে তেওঁৰ লগত কথা পাতিলে, তেতিয়া তেওঁ ক’লে, ‘হে মোৰ ৰব! তুমি মোক দৰ্শন দিয়া, মই তোমাক দেখিম’। তেওঁ ক’লে, ‘তুমি মোক দেখিব নোৱাৰিবা👝। তুমি বৰং পাহাৰৰ ফালেই চোৱাচোন, সেইখন যদি নিজৰ ঠাইতে স্থিৰ থাকে তেনেহ’লে তুমি মোক দেখিব পাৰিবা’। যেতিয়া তেওঁৰ প্ৰতিপালকে পাহাৰত জ্যোতি প্ৰকাশ কৰিলে তেতিয়া ই পাহাৰক চূৰ্ণ-বিচূৰ্ণ কৰিলে আৰু মুছা সংজ্ঞাহীন হৈ পৰিল। যেতিয়া তেওঁ জ্ঞান ওভোতাই পালে তেতিয়া ক’লে, ‘মহিমাময় তুমি, মই অনুতপ্ত হৈ তোমাৰ ওচৰত তাওবা কৰিছো আৰু মুমিনসকলৰ মাজত ময়েই প্ৰথম’🍒।

(৭৫:২১-২৩👝

وَتَذَرُونَ الْآخِرَةَ

আৰু তোমালোকে আখিৰাতক অৱহেলা কৰা।

৭৫:২২

وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَاضِرَةٌ

সেইদিনা কিছুমান মুখমণ্ডল উজ্জ্বল হ’ব,

৭৫:২৩

إِلَىٰ رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٌ

সিহঁতে নিজ প্ৰতিপালকৰ প্ৰতি চাই থাকিব।)

[7:143] And (Wa) when (Lammaa) Moses (Muusaa) arrived at (Jaa'a Li) Our appointed time (Miiqaati-naa),

and (Wa) his LORD (Rabbu-hu) spoke to him (Kallama-hu), he (Moses) said (Qaala), "LORD (Rabbi), let me 

(Arinii) look at YOU (Anzur' ilai'ka)." HE (God)said (Qaala), "You can never (Lan) see ME (Taraanii), but 

(Walaakini) look at (Enzur' ilaa) the mountain (El'Jabali); for (Fa) if (Ini) it should stabilize (Es'taqarra) in its 

place (Makaana-hu), then (Fa) you will (Saw'fa) see ME (Taraanii)." And (Fa) when (Lammaa) his LORD 

(Rabbu-hu) manifested (Tajallaa) to the mountain (Lil' Jabali), HE rendered it (Jaåla-hu) a level ground

(Dakkan), and (Wa) Moses (Muusaa) fell down (Kharra) stunned (knocked out) (Soeqan). And (Fa) when 

(Lammaa) he woke up (Afaaqa), he said (Qaala), "Glory be to YOU (Sub'haana-ka)! I have repented (Tub'tu)

to YOU (ilai'ka), for (Wa) I am (Ana') the first (Awwalu) of believers(El'Mu'miniin)."

📍Verse/Note:

7:143 So when Moses came to Our appointed time, and his Lord spoke to him, he said, "My Lord, let me look upon you." He said, "You will not see Me, but look upon the mountain, if it stays in its place then you will see Me." So, when his Lord manifested Himself to the mountain, He caused it to crumble; thus Moses fell unconscious. When he recovered, he said, "Glory be to You, I repent to You and I am the first of those who acknowledge."

Note.

People in paradise will see God (39:69; 75:23, 89:22). 

Some🍒 critics claim that the last statement of this verse contradicts *39:12 and **2:132. If we check a search engine with the following words: Olympic first place 100-meters, we will find many names of athletes who got first place. If we use the logic of the critics, we would think there is a great confusion and contradictory claims regarding the first place winner of the 100-meters race. What is wrong with that logic? Obviously, we need to consider the two important dimensions: time and space! Abraham was the first Muslim (submitter and promoter of peace) in his time and location. Similarly, Moses and Muhammed were too pioneer muslims of their times and location(edip).

وَأُمِرْتُ لِأَنْ أَكُونَ أَوَّلَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ

‘মোক(Muhammad) আৰু আদেশ কৰা হৈছে, ময়ে যেন প্ৰথম মুছলিম হওঁ’।

২:১৩২**

وَوَصَّىٰ بِهَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بَنِيهِ وَيَعْقُوبُ يَا بَنِيَّ إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصْطَفَىٰ لَكُمُ الدِّينَ فَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ

আৰু ইব্ৰাহীম আৰু ইয়াকূবে তেওঁলোকৰ পুত্ৰসকলক ইয়াৰেই নিৰ্দেশ দি কৈছিল, ‘হে মোৰ পুত্ৰসকল! নিশ্চয় আল্লাহে তোমালোকৰ বাবে এই দ্বীনক মনোনীত কৰিছে। এতেকে তোমালোকে আত্মসমৰ্পণকাৰী (মুছলিম) নোহোৱালৈকে মৃত্যু বৰণ নকৰিবা’।)

🌈৭:১৪৪

قَالَ يَا مُوسَىٰ إِنِّي اصْطَفَيْتُكَ عَلَى النَّاسِ بِرِسَالَاتِي وَبِكَلَامِي فَخُذْ مَا آتَيْتُكَ وَكُنْ مِنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ

তেওঁ ক’লে, ‘হে মুছা! মই তোমাক মোৰ ৰিছালত আৰু বাক্যালাপৰ দ্বাৰা মানুহৰ ওপৰত নিৰ্বাচিত কৰিছো; সেয়ে মই তোমাক যি প্ৰদান কৰিলো সেয়া গ্ৰহণ কৰা আৰু কৃতজ্ঞতা জ্ঞাপনকাৰীসকলৰ অন্তৰ্ভু্ক্ত হোৱা’।

[7:144] HE (God)said (Qaala), "O (Yaa) Moses (Muusaa), indeed I (Innii) have chosen you (s) (Es'tafai'tu-ka)

over (Ålaa) the people (En'Naasi) with (Bi) MY messages (Risaalaatii) and (Wa) with (Bi) MY speech

(Kalaamii). So (Fa) take (Khuz') what (Maa) I have given you (Aatai'tu-ka) and (Wa) be (Kun) among (Mina)

the grateful (Es'Shaakiriin)."

🌈৭:১৪৫

وَكَتَبْنَا لَهُ فِي الْأَلْوَاحِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مَوْعِظَةً وَتَفْصِيلًا لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ فَخُذْهَا بِقُوَّةٍ وَأْمُرْ قَوْمَكَ يَأْخُذُوا بِأَحْسَنِهَا ۚ سَأُرِيكُمْ دَارَ الْفَاسِقِينَ

আৰু আমি তাৰ বাবে ফলকসমূহত সৰ্ব বিষয়ে উপদেশ আৰু সকলো বিষয়ৰ স্পষ্ট ব্যাখ্যা লিখি দিছো; গতিকে সেয়া দৃঢ়ভাৱে ধৰা আৰু তোমাৰ সম্প্ৰদায়ক ইয়াৰে যি উত্তম সেয়া গ্ৰহণ কৰিবলৈ নিৰ্দেশ দিয়া। মই অনতিপলমে ফাছিক্বসকলৰ বাসস্থান তোমালোকক দেখুৱাম।

[7:145] And (Wa) We wrote (Katab'naa) for him (Lahu) on (Fii) the tablets (El'Al'waahi) of (Min) all (Kulli)

things (Shai'in); as preachment (Maw'ezotan) and (Wa) elaboration (*6:154) (Taf'siilan) for (Li) all (Kulli) things 

(Shai'in), "So (Fa) take them (Kkuz'haa) with (Bi) strength (Quwwatin) and command (Wa'mur') your people

(Qaw'ma-ka) to take (Ya'khuzu' Bi) the best of it (Ah'sani-haa). I (God) will show you (Sa U'rii-kum') the Home 

(Daara) of the immoral (El'Faasiqiin). 

(৬:১৫৪*🎪

ثُمَّ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ تَمَامًا عَلَى الَّذِي أَحْسَنَ وَتَفْصِيلًا لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةً لَعَلَّهُمْ بِلِقَاءِ رَبِّهِمْ يُؤْمِنُونَ

এতেকে আমি মূছাক প্ৰদান কৰিছিলো কিতাব, যিয়ে সৎকৰ্ম কৰিছে তাৰ বাবে পৰিপূৰ্ণতাস্বৰূপ, প্ৰতিটো বস্তুৰ বিশদ বিৱৰণ, হিদায়ত আৰু ৰহমতস্বৰূপ—যাতে সিহঁতে সিহঁতৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ সাক্ষাত সম্বন্ধে ঈমান ৰাখে।)

7:145 We ordained for him, in the Tablets of law, Enlightenment and clearly spelled out guidance. And told him, “Uphold these teachings strongly, and tell your people to uphold them. These are excellent teachings. I will soon let you and your people see (how blessed the end of compliance will be and) to which abode the drifters will be headed.” [39:18](sa).

৩৯:১৮

الَّذِينَ يَسْتَمِعُونَ الْقَوْلَ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ أَحْسَنَهُ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ هَدَاهُمُ اللَّهُ ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمْ أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ

যিসকলে মনোযোগ সহকাৰে কথা শুনে আৰু তাৰ মাজৰ উত্তম কথাৰ অনুসৰণ কৰে। তেওঁলোককেই আল্লাহে হিদায়ত দান কৰিছে আৰু তেওঁলোকেই বোধশক্তি সম্পন্ন।

وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا أَهْلَكْنَا الْقُرُونَ الْأُولَىٰ بَصَائِرَ لِلنَّاسِ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةً لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ

আৰু অৱশ্যে পূৰ্বৱৰ্তী বহু প্ৰজন্মক বিনাশ কৰাৰ পিছত আমি মুছাক প্ৰদান কৰিছিলো কিতাব, মানৱ জাতিৰ বাবে জ্ঞান-বৰ্তিকা, পথনিৰ্দেশ আৰু অনুগ্ৰহস্বৰূপ; যাতে সিহঁতে উপদেশ গ্ৰহণ কৰে।
