🟦৭:২১

وَقَاسَمَهُمَا إِنِّي لَكُمَا لَمِنَ النَّاصِحِينَ

আৰু সি সিহঁত উভয়ৰ ওচৰত শপত কৰি ক’লে, ‘নিশ্চয় মই তোমালোকৰ শুভাকাংক্ষীসকলৰ এজন’।

[7:21] And (Wa) he (the devil) swore to them both (Qaasama-humaa), "Indeed, I am (Innii) of (Lamina) the 

advisers (En'Naasihiin) to you (Lakumaa)."

🟦৭:২২

فَدَلَّاهُمَا بِغُرُورٍ ۚ فَلَمَّا ذَاقَا الشَّجَرَةَ بَدَتْ لَهُمَا سَوْآتُهُمَا وَطَفِقَا يَخْصِفَانِ عَلَيْهِمَا مِنْ وَرَقِ الْجَنَّةِ ۖ وَنَادَاهُمَا رَبُّهُمَا أَلَمْ أَنْهَكُمَا عَنْ تِلْكُمَا الشَّجَرَةِ وَأَقُلْ لَكُمَا إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَكُمَا عَدُوٌّ مُبِينٌ

ফলত সি সিহঁতক প্ৰবঞ্চনাৰ দ্বাৰা পদস্খলিত কৰিলে। ইয়াৰ পিছত যেতিয়া সিহঁতে সেই গছৰ ফল খালে, তেতিয়া সিহঁতৰ লজ্জাস্থান সিহঁতৰ ওচৰত প্ৰকাশ হৈ গ’ল, আৰু সিহঁতে জান্নাতৰ পাতেৰে নিজকে আবৃত কৰিব ধৰিলে। তেতিয়া সিহঁতৰ প্ৰতিপালকে সিহঁতক মাতি ক’লে, ‘মই তোমালোকক এই গছজোপাৰ পৰা নিষেধ কৰা নাছিলোনে? আৰু মই তোমালোকক কোৱা নাছিলোনে যে, নিশ্চয় চয়তান তোমালোক উভয়ৰে প্ৰকাশ্য শত্ৰু?

[7:22] So (Fa) he indicated them (Dallaa-humaa) by (Bi) delusion (Guruurin). And (Fa) when (Lamma) they 

tasted (Zaaqa) the tree (Es'Shajarata), their bodies (Saw'aatu-huma) became apparent to them (Badat' 

Lahuma), and they immediately began (Tafiqaa) to cover themselves (Yukh'sifaani Ålai'hima) from (Min) the 

leaves (Waraqi) of the garden (El'Jannati). And (Wa) their LORD (Rabbu-humaa) called them both (Naadaa-

humaa), "Did I not (Alam') forbid you (An'ha-kumaa) from (Ån) that (Til'kuma) tree (Es'Shajarati) and (Wa)

told you both (Aqulla-kumaa) that (Inna) the devil (Es'Shai'toana) is a clear (Mubiin) enemy (Åduwwun) to you (Lakumaa)?"

فَأَكَلَا مِنْهَا فَبَدَتْ لَهُمَا سَوْآتُهُمَا وَطَفِقَا يَخْصِفَانِ عَلَيْهِمَا مِنْ وَرَقِ الْجَنَّةِ ۚ وَعَصَىٰ آدَمُ رَبَّهُ فَغَوَىٰ

অৱশেষত তেওঁলোক (স্বামী-স্ত্ৰী) উভয়ে সেই গছজোপাৰ পৰা (ফল) খালে; লগে লগে তেওঁলোকৰ লজ্জাস্থান তেওঁলোকৰ ওচৰত প্ৰকাশ হৈ গ’ল, আৰু তেওঁলোকে জান্নাতৰ গছৰ পাতেৰে নিজকে আবৃত কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে, আৰু আদমে তেওঁৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ আদেশ অমান্য কৰিলে, ফলত তেওঁ পথভ্ৰান্ত হৈ গ’ল।

🟦৭:২৩

قَالَا رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنْفُسَنَا وَإِنْ لَمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ

সিহঁতে ক’লে, ‘হে আমাৰ ৰব! আমি নিজৰে প্ৰতি অন্যায় কৰিছো, আৰু যদি তুমি আমাক ক্ষমা কৰি নিদিয়া আৰু আমাৰ প্ৰতি দয়া নকৰা, তেন্তে নিশ্চয় আমি ক্ষতিগ্ৰস্তসকলৰ অন্তৰ্ভুক্ত হম’।

[7:23] They said (Qaalaa), "Our LORD (Rabba-naa), we have wronged (Zolam'naa) our souls (Anfusa-naa), 

and (Wa) if (In) YOU do not (Lam') forgive us (Tag'fir' Lanaa) and have mercy upon us (Tar'ham'naa), we 

would (La) be (Nakuunanna) of (Mina) the losers (El'Khaasiriin)." (*20:122).

(২০:১২২*

ثُمَّ اجْتَبَاهُ رَبُّهُ فَتَابَ عَلَيْهِ وَهَدَىٰ

তাৰ পিছত তেওঁৰ প্ৰতিপালকে তেওঁক মনোনীত কৰিলে, ফলত তেওঁৰ তাওবা কবুল কৰিলে আৰু তেওঁক পথনিৰ্দেশ কৰিলে।)

🟦৭:২৪

قَالَ اهْبِطُوا بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ ۖ وَلَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مُسْتَقَرٌّ وَمَتَاعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينٍ

তেওঁ ক’লে, ‘তোমালোকে নামি যোৱা, তোমালোকে ইজনে সিজনৰ শত্ৰু আৰু পৃথিৱীত আছে তোমালোকৰ বাবে ক্ষণস্থায়ী বসবাস আৰু জীৱিকা’।

[7:24] HE (God)said (Qaala), "Descend (Eh'bitu') as enemies (Åduww') to each other (Ba'du-kum' Li Ba'din). And 

(Wa) for you (p) (Lakum) is residence (Mus'taqarrun) and enjoyment (Mataaun) until (ilaa) a time (Hiin)."

7:24 God said, “Be degraded with wedges of discord between one another. There will be for you an abode and sustenance for a while on earth.”

Note:

Self interests of people had given rise to unjust marking of land and individuals hoarding. Suppression of the weak had begun. God told them that they had fallen down from the high station of humanity. They had ignored the law that "Mankind is one community". From then on, they would live as tribes and nations, enemies to one another. 10:19, 49:13(sa).

وَمَا كَانَ النَّاسُ إِلَّا أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً فَاخْتَلَفُوا ۚ وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِنْ رَبِّكَ لَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ فِيمَا فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ

আৰু মানুহৰ এটাই উম্মত আছিল, পিছতহে সিহঁতে মতভেদ সৃষ্টি কৰিছে। তোমাৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ পূৰ্ব-ঘোষণা নাথাকিলে সিহঁতে যি বিষয়ত মতভেদ কৰে তাৰ মীমাংসা হৈয়ে গ’লেহেঁতেন।

৪৯:১৩

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ مِنْ ذَكَرٍ وَأُنْثَىٰ وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ شُعُوبًا وَقَبَائِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوا ۚ إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ

হে মানৱ সম্প্ৰদায়! নিশ্চয় আমি তোমালোকক এজন পুৰুষ আৰু এজনী নাৰীৰ পৰা সৃষ্টি কৰিছো, আৰু তোমালোকক বিভক্ত কৰিছো বিভিন্ন জাতি আৰু গোত্ৰত, যাতে তোমালোকে এজনে আনজনৰ লগত পৰিচিত হ’ব পাৰা। তোমালোকৰ মাজত আল্লাহৰ ওচৰত কেৱল সেই ব্যক্তিয়েই বেছি মৰ্যাদাশীল যিজন তোমালোকৰ মাজত বেছি তাক্বৱা সম্পন্ন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সৰ্বজ্ঞ, সম্যক অৱহিত।).

🟦৭:২৫

قَالَ فِيهَا تَحْيَوْنَ وَفِيهَا تَمُوتُونَ وَمِنْهَا تُخْرَجُونَ

তেওঁ ক’লে, ‘তোমালোকে তাতেই জীৱন-যাপন কৰিবা আৰু তাতেই তোমালোকে মৃত্যুবৰণ কৰিবা, আৰু তাৰ পৰাই তোমালোকক উলিয়াই আনা হ’ব’।

[7:25] HE (God)said (Qaala), "Therein (Fiiha) you will live (Tah'yaw'na), and (Wa) therein (Fiiha) you will die

(Tamuutuuna), and from it (Min'haa) you will be brought forth (resurrected) (Tukh'rajuun)."

7:25 He said, "You shall live on earth and die there and be resurrected from there.”

🟦৭:২৬

يَا بَنِي آدَمَ قَدْ أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْكُمْ لِبَاسًا يُوَارِي سَوْآتِكُمْ وَرِيشًا ۖ وَلِبَاسُ التَّقْوَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ

হে আদম সন্তান! নিশ্চয় মই তোমালোকৰ বাবে পোছাক অৱতীৰ্ণ কৰিছো, তোমালোকৰ লজ্জাস্থান আবৃত কৰাৰ বাবে আৰু সৌন্দৰ্যৰ বাবে। কিন্তু তাক্বৱাৰ পোছাকেই হৈছে সৰ্বোত্তম। এইটো আল্লাহৰ নিদৰ্শনসমূহৰ অন্যতম, যাতে সিহঁতে উপদেশ গ্ৰহণ কৰে।

[7:26] O (Yaa) children (Banii) of Adam (Aadama), We have (Qad') revealed to you (Anzal'naa Ålai'kum)

clothing (Libaasan) to conceal (Yuwaarii) your bodies (shame) (Saw'aati-kum'), and (Wa) as apparel (Riishan). 

As for (Wa) the clothing (Libaasu) of piousness (Ettaq'waa); that (Zaalika) is best (Khai'run). That (Zaalika) is 

from (Min') the signs of GOD (Aayaati-llahi) perhaps they (Lållahum') will remember (Yazakkaruun).

📍Verse/Note:

7:26 O Children of Adam! We have provided you with garments to cover your bodies as well as to adorn you. The best garment for you to wear, in addition, is good conduct. (Your character decorates you inside out.) These are the verses of God that they must take to heart(sa).

🟦৭:২৭

يَا بَنِي آدَمَ لَا يَفْتِنَنَّكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ كَمَا أَخْرَجَ أَبَوَيْكُمْ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ يَنْزِعُ عَنْهُمَا لِبَاسَهُمَا لِيُرِيَهُمَا سَوْآتِهِمَا ۗ إِنَّهُ يَرَاكُمْ هُوَ وَقَبِيلُهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا تَرَوْنَهُمْ ۗ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا الشَّيَاطِينَ أَوْلِيَاءَ لِلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

হে আদম সন্তান! চয়তানে যেন তোমালোকক কোনো মতেই প্ৰলুব্ধ কৰিব নোৱাৰে—যিদৰে সি তোমালোকৰ পিতৃ-মাতৃক জান্নাতৰ পৰা উলিয়াইছিল, সি তেওঁলোকক তেওঁলোকৰ লজ্জাস্থান দেখুৱাৰ বাবে বিবস্ত্ৰ কৰিছিল। নিশ্চয় সি নিজে আৰু তাৰ দলে তোমালোকক এনে ঠাইৰ পৰা দেখে, য’ত তোমালোকে সিহঁতক নেদেখা। নিশ্চয় আমি চয়তানক সেইসকল লোকৰ অভিভাৱক কৰি দিছো যিসকলে ঈমান পোষণ নকৰে।

[7:27] O (Yaa) children (Banii) of Adam (Aadama), do not let (Laa) the devil (Es’Shaitoanu) entice you 

(Yaf'tinannakum) as (Kamaa) he ousted (Akh'raja) your two parents (Abawai'kum’) from (Mina) the garden

(El'Jannati), abstaining them from (Yanza'u Ån'humaa) their clothing (Libaasa-humaa) in order to (Li) show 

them (Yuriyahuma) their bodies (Saw'aati-himaa). Indeed (Innahu), he (Huwa) and (Wa) his tribe (jinns)

(Qabiilu-hu) see you (Yaraa-kum) from (Min') where (Hai'thu) you do not (Laa) see them (Taraw'nahum'). 

Indeed (Innaa), We have appointed (Jaål'naa) the devils (Es'Shayaatiina) as allies (Aw'liyaa'a) to those who 

(Lillaziina) do not (Laa) believe (Yu'minuun).

📍Verse/Note-1

7:27 O Children of Adam! Let not your selfish desires deceive you as it deceived your ancestors, caused them to lose their Paradise, and exposed their imperfections. A host of selfish and rebellious desires lurk within you. You can't even see them but these Satans see you and befriend those who do not believe(sa).

📍Verse/Note-2

[7:27] O children of Adam, do not let shaitan, your egotistical Self, delude

you as he did when he caused the destruction of your parents from the 

state of harmony and the removal of their robes of innocence. Shaitan and 

his kind are aware of you, while you do not see them. The shaitan, your 

own egotistical Self, is the influential companion of those who do not 

believe in this guidance or accountability to God.

Note:

Shaitan, Iblees: The negative force in every human being, the regressive aspect of our 

personality. Every individual has a dark hidden aspect, the negative trait of their psyche, drawing 

the Self to acts that inevitably lead to disappointment and frustration. This is illustrated by Adam's 

tussle with his own Ego. Adam's shaitan: his egotistical Self. To consider your own opinion as the 

ultimate deciding factor is to idolise your own ego as an authority to rival God. This is shirk and an 

offence of great arrogance. See verses 2:30-39 and 38:26*(sig).

يَا دَاوُودُ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَاكَ خَلِيفَةً فِي الْأَرْضِ فَاحْكُمْ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ بِالْحَقِّ وَلَا تَتَّبِعِ الْهَوَىٰ فَيُضِلَّكَ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَضِلُّونَ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ بِمَا نَسُوا يَوْمَ الْحِسَابِ

‘হে দাউদ! নিশ্চয় আমি তোমাক পৃথিৱীত প্ৰতিনিধি বনাইছো, এতেকে তুমি মানুহৰ মাজত সুবিচাৰ কৰা আৰু প্ৰবৃত্তিৰ অনুসৰণ নকৰিবা, কিয়নো এনে কৰিলে ই তোমাক আল্লাহৰ পথৰ পৰা বিচ্যুত কৰিব’। নিশ্চয় যিসকলে আল্লাহৰ পথৰ পৰা বিচ্যুত হয় সিহঁতৰ বাবে আছে কঠিন শাস্তি, কাৰণ সিহঁতে বিচাৰ দিৱসক পাহৰি গৈছে।)

🟦৭:২৮

وَإِذَا فَعَلُوا فَاحِشَةً قَالُوا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهَا آبَاءَنَا وَاللَّهُ أَمَرَنَا بِهَا ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَأْمُرُ بِالْفَحْشَاءِ ۖ أَتَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ

আৰু যেতিয়া সিহঁতে কোনো অশ্লীল আচৰণ কৰে তেতিয়া কয়, ‘আমি আমাৰ পূৰ্বপুৰুষসকলক এইদৰেই কৰা পাইছো, আৰু আল্লাহেও আমাক এইটোৱেই কৰাৰ নিৰ্দেশ দিছে’। কোৱা, ‘আল্লাহে কেতিয়াও অশ্লীলতাৰ নিৰ্দেশ নিদিয়ে। তোমালোকে আল্লাহৰ বিষয়ে এনে কথা কোৱা নেকি যিটো তোমালোকে নাজানা’?

[7:28] And (Wa) when (Izaa) they act (Faålu') obscene (Faahishatan), they say (Qaalu'), "We found (Wajad'na)

our fathers (Aabaa'a-naa) upon it (Ålai'haa), and GOD (Ellahu) has commanded us (Amara-naa) to it (Bihaa)." 

Say (Qul'): "Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) does not (Laa) command (Ya'muru) to (Bi) obscenity (El'Fah'shaa'i). Are 

you saying (A-taquluuna) about GOD (Ålaallahi) what (Maa) you do not (Laa) know (Ta'lamuun)?"

7:28 (As an example,) when people commit an indecency they say, "We found our forefathers doing it and God has enjoined it upon us" (made it natural for us). Say (O Prophet), "God never enjoins indecency. Do you attribute to God that of which you have no knowledge?"(sa).

🟦৭:২৯

قُلْ أَمَرَ رَبِّي بِالْقِسْطِ ۖ وَأَقِيمُوا وُجُوهَكُمْ عِنْدَ كُلِّ مَسْجِدٍ وَادْعُوهُ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ ۚ كَمَا بَدَأَكُمْ تَعُودُونَ

কোৱা, ‘মোৰ প্ৰতিপালকে ন্যায় বিচাৰৰ নিৰ্দেশ দিছে’। আৰু তোমালোকে প্ৰত্যেক ছাজদাৰ সময়ত বা ইবাদতত তোমালোকৰ লক্ষ্য কেৱল আল্লাহকেই নিৰ্ধাৰণ কৰা আৰু তেওঁৰেই আনুগত্যত বিশুদ্ধচিত্ত হৈ একনিষ্ঠভাৱে তেওঁকেই আহ্বান কৰা। তেওঁ তোমালোকক যেনেকৈ প্ৰথমবাৰ সৃষ্টি কৰিছে তোমালোকে সেইদৰেই উভতি আহিবা।

[7:29] Say (Qul'): "My LORD (Rabbii) commands to (Amara Bi) justice (El'Qis'ti) and (Wa) to erect (Aqiimu')

your faces (Wujuuha-kum’) at (Enda) every (Kulli) mosque (Mas'jidin) and invoke HIM (Ed'uu-hu), being 

sincere (Mukh'lisiina) to HIM (Lahu) in religion (Ed'Diina)." Just as (Kamaa) HE initiated you (p) (Bada’a-

kum’), you will return (Tauuduun).

7:29 Say, "My Lord orders justice, and that you be devoted at every temple, and that you call on Him, while dedicating to Him in the system; as He initiated you, so you will return."
