6:1(All praise is due to Allah)

6:2(Time is determined according to Allah's laws)

6:3(Allah knows all that you keep secret)

6:4(They do not Witness the Signs)

6:5(Disbelievers are denying this truth as it has come to them)

6:6(Allah destroyed many generations for their sins, and established after them a new generation.)

بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم

All praise is due to God, the Lord/Cherisher/Sustainer of the Universe and everything therein.

.

This is the 6th Surah of the Qur’an. It has 165 verses. The main distinction between humans and other creations on earth is that of intellect and, with it, the free will.

🌈৬:১

 الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ الظُّلُمَاتِ وَالنُّورَ ۖ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُونَ

সকলো ধৰণৰ প্ৰশংসা কেৱল আল্লাহৰেই যিজনে আকাশমণ্ডল আৰু পৃথিৱী সৃষ্টি কৰিছে, আৰু সৃষ্টি কৰিছে অন্ধকাৰ আৰু পোহৰ। ইয়াৰ পিছতো কাফিৰসকলে নিজ প্ৰতিপালকৰ সমতুল্য স্থিৰ কৰে।

[6:1] Praise (El'Hamdu) be to GOD (Lillahi), who (Ellazii) created (Khalaqa) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and 

the earth (Wal' Ar'do) and made (Jaåla) the darknesses (Ez'Zulumaati) and the light (En'Nuura), yet (Thumma)

those who (Ellaziina) disbelieve (Kafaru') set up equals (Ya'diluun) with (Bi) their LORD (Rabbi-him).

📍Verse/Note-1

(1) Absolute Hamd is for Allah alone (1/1) who created the universe and devised darkness and light. Those who reject the Divine laws set up peers to Allah.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

(আৰম্ভ কৰিছো) পৰম কৰুণাময় পৰম দয়ালু আল্লাহৰ নামত)

📍Note-2

In this Ayah, Allah describes darkness in the plural, Zulumat (where Zulmah is singular for darkness), while describing the light in the singular, An-Nur, because An-Nur is more honored(app).

১৬:৪৮

أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا إِلَىٰ مَا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ يَتَفَيَّأُ ظِلَالُهُ عَنِ الْيَمِينِ وَالشَّمَائِلِ سُجَّدًا لِلَّهِ وَهُمْ دَاخِرُونَ

সিহঁতে আল্লাহে সৃষ্টি কৰা বস্তুৰ প্ৰতি লক্ষ্য নকৰে নেকি, যাৰ ছাঁ সোঁফালে আৰু বাওঁফালে আল্লাহৰ প্ৰতি ছাজদাৱনত হৈ ঢলি পৰে, আৰু সেইবোৰ একান্ত বিনীত?

🌈৬:২

هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ مِنْ طِينٍ ثُمَّ قَضَىٰ أَجَلًا ۖ وَأَجَلٌ مُسَمًّى عِنْدَهُ ۖ ثُمَّ أَنْتُمْ تَمْتَرُونَ

তেৱেঁই তোমালোকক বোকা মাটিৰে সৃষ্টি কৰিছে, তাৰ পিছত এটা সময় নিৰ্দিষ্ট কৰিছে আৰু আন এটা নিৰ্ধাৰিত সময় আছে যিটো কেৱল তেৱেঁই জানে, ইয়াৰ পিছতো তোমালোকে সন্দেহ কৰা।

[6:2] HE (God) (Huwa) is the One who (Ellazii) created you (p) (Khalaqa-kum) from (Min) clay (Tiinin) and 

then (Thumma) decreed (Qadoa) a term (Ajalan); a fixed (Musammaa) term (Ajalun) with HIM (Endahu), yet

(Thumma) you (Antum') are disputing (Tam'taruun).

📍Verse/Note:

6:2 He is the One Who created you from inorganic matter, and decreed a term for you, a term known to Him. It is determined according to His laws, for individuals (3:144, 56:60) and nations (7:34, 10:49, 13:38). Yet you keep doubting and arguing about Him.

৭:১৮৭

يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرْسَاهَا ۖ قُلْ إِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِنْدَ رَبِّي ۖ لَا يُجَلِّيهَا لِوَقْتِهَا إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ ثَقُلَتْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ لَا تَأْتِيكُمْ إِلَّا بَغْتَةً ۗ يَسْأَلُونَكَ كَأَنَّكَ حَفِيٌّ عَنْهَا ۖ قُلْ إِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

সিহঁতে তোমাক কিয়ামত সম্পৰ্কে প্ৰশ্ন কৰি কয়, ‘সেইটো কেতিয়া সংঘটিত হ’ব’? কোৱা, ‘এই বিষয়ৰ জ্ঞান কেৱল মোৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ ওচৰত। কেৱল তেৱেঁই যথাসময়ত সেইটোৰ প্ৰকাশ ঘটাব। আকস্মিকভাৱে সেয়া তোমালোকৰ ওপৰত আহি পৰিব’। সিহঁতে তোমাক প্ৰশ্ন কৰিছে যেনিবা তুমি এই বিষয়ে সবিশেষ অৱহিত। কোৱা, ‘এই বিষয়ৰ জ্ঞান কেৱল আল্লাহৰ ওচৰত, কিন্তু অধিকাংশ মানুহেই (এই সত্যটো) নাজানে’।(+79:42-44).

وَهُوَ اللَّهُ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَفِي الْأَرْضِ ۖ يَعْلَمُ سِرَّكُمْ وَجَهْرَكُمْ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَكْسِبُونَ

আকাশমণ্ডল আৰু পৃথিৱীত কেৱল* তেৱেঁই আল্লাহ, তোমালোকৰ গোপন আৰু প্ৰকাশ্য সকলো তেওঁ জানে আৰু তোমালোকে যি অৰ্জন কৰা সেয়াও তেওঁ জানে।

(৪৩:৮৪*

وَهُوَ الَّذِي فِي السَّمَاءِ إِلَٰهٌ وَفِي الْأَرْضِ إِلَٰهٌ ۚ وَهُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْعَلِيمُ

তেৱেঁই সত্য ইলাহ আকাশত আৰু তেৱেঁই সত্য ইলাহ পৃথিৱীত। তেওঁ প্ৰজ্ঞাময়, সৰ্বজ্ঞ।).

[6:3] And (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the GOD (Ellahu) in (Fii) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' 

Ar'di); HE knows (Ya'lamu) your secret (Sirra-kum') and your publicity (Jah'ra-kum'), and (Wa) HE knows (Ya'lamu) what (Maa) you earn (Tak'sibuun).

6:3 He is God in the heavens as well as on earth. He knows all that you keep secret as well as all that you do openly and He knows what you earn (by your deeds).sa.

🌈৬:৪

وَمَا تَأْتِيهِمْ مِنْ آيَةٍ مِنْ آيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا كَانُوا عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ

আৰু সিহঁতৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ পৰা সিহঁতৰ ওচৰলৈ কোনো নিদৰ্শন আহিলেই সিহঁতে তাৰ পৰা মুখ ঘূৰাই

 লয়।

[6:4] And (Wa) no (Maa Min') verse (Aayatin) comes to them (Ta'tii-him) from (Min') the verses (Aayaati) of 

their LORD (Rabbi-him') except (illa) they are (Kaanu') turning away (Mu'ridiin) from it (Ån'haa).

6:4-Allah gives such clear guidance; despite it, those who reject His laws turn away from it.pz.

🌈৬:৫

فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوا بِالْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِيهِمْ أَنْبَاءُ مَا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ

এতেকে সত্য যেতিয়াই সিহঁতৰ ওচৰত আহিছে সিহঁতে সেয়া অস্বীকাৰ কৰিছে। গতিকে যি বিষয়ে সিহঁতে উপহাস কৰিছে তাৰ যথাৰ্থ সংবাদ অনতিপলমে সিহঁতৰ ওচৰত আহি পাব।

[6:5] And (Fa) they have (Qad') denied (Kazzabu' Bi) the truth (El'Haqqi) when (Lamma) it came to them (Jaa'a-hum'), but (Fa) the news (Anbaau') of what (Maa) they have been (Kaanu') ridiculing (Yas'tah'ziuun Bi-

hi) will (Saw'fa) come to them(Ya'tii-him').

৩:৮৫

وَمَنْ يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ الْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا فَلَنْ يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ

আৰু যিয়ে ইছলামৰ বাহিৰে আন কোনো দ্বীন সন্ধান কৰিব তাৰ পৰা কেতিয়াও সেয়া গ্ৰহণ কৰা নহ’ব আৰু সি পৰকালত ক্ষতিগ্ৰস্তসকলৰ অন্তৰ্ভুক্ত হ’ব।

৩:১১৬

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَنْ تُغْنِيَ عَنْهُمْ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلَا أَوْلَادُهُمْ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ ۚ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ

নিশ্চয় যিসকলে কুফৰী কৰিছে, সিহঁতৰ ধন-সম্পদ আৰু সন্তান-সন্ততি আল্লাহৰ ওচৰত কেতিয়াও কোনো কামত নাহিব; আৰু সিহঁতেই জুইৰ অধিবাসী, সিহঁত তাত স্থায়ী হ’ব।

أَلَمْ يَرَوْا كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِنْ قَرْنٍ مَكَّنَّاهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَا لَمْ نُمَكِّنْ لَكُمْ وَأَرْسَلْنَا السَّمَاءَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِدْرَارًا وَجَعَلْنَا الْأَنْهَارَ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهِمْ فَأَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَأَنْشَأْنَا مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ قَرْنًا آخَرِينَ

সিহঁতে চোৱা নাইনে যে, আমি সিহঁতৰ পূৰ্বে বহু প্ৰজন্মক বিনাশ কৰিছো? সিহঁতক পৃথিৱীত এনেকৈ প্ৰতিষ্ঠিত কৰিছিলো যে, তেনেকৈ প্ৰতিষ্ঠিত তোমালোককো কৰা নাই আৰু সিহঁতৰ ওপৰত ধাৰাসাৰ বৰষুণ বৰ্ষাইছিলো। আৰু সৃষ্টি কৰিছিলো নদীসমূহ যিবোৰ সিহঁতৰ তলত প্ৰবাহিত আছিল, তাৰ পিছত সিহঁতৰ পাপকৰ্মৰ বাবে সিহঁতক বিনাশ কৰিছো আৰু সিহঁতৰ পিছত আন প্ৰজন্মক সৃষ্টি কৰিছো।

[6:6] Have they not (Alam') seen (Yaraw') how many (Kam') a (Min) generation (Qar'nin) We have 

annihilated (Ah'lak'naa) before them (Min Qab'li-him)? We established them (Makkannaahum') on earth 

(Fiil' Ar'di) which (Maa) We have not (Lam') established for you (Numakkin Lakum'), and (Wa) We sent 

(Ar'sal'naa) the showering (Mid'raaran) of the sky (Es'Samaai) upon them (Ålai'him) and made (Jaål'naa)

rivers (El'An'haara) flow (Taj'rii) beneath them (Min Tah'ti-him'); afterwards (Fa) We annihilated them 

(Ah'lak'naa-hum) for (Bi) their sins (Zunuubi-him') and established (Ansha'naa) another (Aakhariin)

generation (Qar'nan) after them (Min Ba'di-him').

6:6 Did they not see how many generations We have destroyed before them? We granted them dominance over the land more than what We granted you, and We sent the sky to them abundantly, and We made rivers flow beneath them; then, We destroyed them for their sins, and established after them a new generation.sa.
