5:103(বাহীৰাহ, ছায়েবাহ, অছীলাহ আৰু হাম আল্লাহে প্ৰৱৰ্তন কৰা নাই-see note)

5:104-105(Do Not Follow Your Parents' Religion Blindly){Their ancestors(পূৰ্বপুৰুষসকল) (and the ancient Imams) were lacking in understanding and were not rightly guided-see Note}{you alone are responsible for the development of your personality (Nafs). If you follow the right path , you will not be harmed by those who follow the wrong path}.

🌈৫:৯৮

اعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ

জানি থোৱা, নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ শাস্তি দানত অতি কঠোৰ, আৰু আল্লাহ পৰম ক্ষমাশীল, পৰম দয়ালু।

(সাৱধান! আল্লাহৰ প্রতিশোধৰ আইন সর্ব সতর্ক।  আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, কৰুণাময়)

[5:98] Know (E'lamuu') that GOD (Annallaha) is severe (Shadiidu) in penalty (El'Eqaabi), and (Wa) that GOD (Annallaha) is Forgiving (Gafuurun) and Merciful (Rahiim).

وَأَنَّ عَذَابِي هُوَ الْعَذَابُ الْأَلِيمُ

আৰু নিশ্চয় মোৰ শাস্তিয়েই হৈছে যন্ত্ৰণাদায়ক শাস্তি!

৬:১২

قُلْ لِمَنْ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ قُلْ لِلَّهِ ۚ كَتَبَ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ الرَّحْمَةَ ۚ لَيَجْمَعَنَّكُمْ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ ۚ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

কোৱা, ‘আকাশমণ্ডল আৰু পৃথিৱীত যি আছে সেয়া কাৰ’? কোৱা, ‘আল্লাহৰেই’, তেওঁ নিজৰ ওপৰত 'দয়াক' কৰ্তব্য হিচাপে লিখি লৈছে। কিয়ামতৰ দিনা তেওঁ নিশ্চয় তোমালোকক একত্ৰিত কৰিব, ইয়াত কোনো সন্দেহ নাই। যিসকলে নিজেই নিজৰ ক্ষতি কৰিছে সিহঁতে ঈমান পোষণ নকৰিব।

৬:৫৪

وَإِذَا جَاءَكَ الَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِآيَاتِنَا فَقُلْ سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ كَتَبَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ الرَّحْمَةَ ۖ أَنَّهُ مَنْ عَمِلَ مِنْكُمْ سُوءًا بِجَهَالَةٍ ثُمَّ تَابَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ وَأَصْلَحَ فَأَنَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ

আৰু যিসকলে আমাৰ আয়াতসমূহৰ প্ৰতি ঈমান পোষণ কৰে, সিহঁতে যেতিয়া তোমাৰ ওচৰত আহে তেতিয়া সিহঁতক তুমি কোৱা, ‘তোমালোকৰ প্ৰতি শান্তি বৰ্ষিত হওঁক’, তোমালোকৰ প্ৰতিপালকে তেওঁৰ নিজৰ ওপৰত দয়া ধাৰ্য্য কৰি লৈছে। তোমালোকৰ মাজৰ কোনোবাই যদি অজ্ঞতাবশতঃ অসৎকৰ্ম কৰে, তাৰ পিছত তাওবা কৰে আৰু নিজকে সংশোধন কৰে, তেন্তে নিশ্চয় তেওঁ (আল্লাহ) ক্ষমাশীল, পৰম দয়ালু।

🌈৫:৯৯

مَا عَلَى الرَّسُولِ إِلَّا الْبَلَاغُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تُبْدُونَ وَمَا تَكْتُمُونَ

ৰাছুলৰ দায়িত্ব কেৱল প্ৰচাৰ কৰা; আৰু তোমালোকে যি প্ৰকাশ কৰা আৰু যি গোপন কৰা সেয়া আল্লাহে জানে।

[5:99] Only (Maa illa) the notification (13:40🌋) (El'Balaagu) is upon (Ålaa) the Messenger (Er'Rasuuli). And (Wa)GOD (Ellahu) knows (Ya'lamu) what (Maa) you declare (Tub'duuna) and what (Wamaa) you conceal (Tak'tumuun).

وَإِنْ مَا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعْضَ الَّذِي نَعِدُهُمْ أَوْ نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْكَ الْبَلَاغُ وَعَلَيْنَا الْحِسَابُ

আৰু আমি সিহঁতক যি (শাস্তিৰ) প্ৰতিশ্ৰুতি দিছো তাৰে অলপ যদি তোমাক (পৃথিৱীতে) দেখুৱাই দিওঁ অথবা (সিহঁতৰ ওপৰত সেয়া অহাৰ আগতেই) তোমাক মৃত্যু প্ৰদান কৰো, -- তেন্তে তোমাৰ কৰ্তব্য হৈছে কেৱল প্ৰচাৰ কৰা, আৰু হিচাব-নিকাচ লোৱাৰ দায়িত্ব কেৱল আমাৰেই।

📍Verse explanatory Note:

"the sole duty of the messenger is the clear delivery (of God's message)" is an independent statement that is true in all circumstances, yet some scholars claimed that the duty of delivering God's message becomes the sole duty of the messenger only if the disbelievers turn away. They base this understanding on the fact that the sole duty of the delivery is mentioned after the words "if they turn away".

The flaw in this claim becomes apparent when we read the following verse:

The sole duty of the messenger is the delivery, and God knows what you reveal and what you conceal. 5:99

قُلْ لَا يَسْتَوِي الْخَبِيثُ وَالطَّيِّبُ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَكَ كَثْرَةُ الْخَبِيثِ ۚ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ يَا أُولِي الْأَلْبَابِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ

কোৱা, অপৱিত্ৰ আৰু পৱিত্ৰ সমান নহয়, যদিও অপৱিত্ৰৰ আধিক্যই তোমাক মুগ্ধ কৰে। সেয়ে, হে বোধসম্পন্ন ব্যক্তিসকল! তোমালোকে আল্লাহৰ তাক্বৱা অৱলম্বন কৰা যাতে তোমালোকে সফল হ’ব পাৰা।

[5:100] Say (Qul): "The bad (El'Khabiithu) and (Wa) the good (Ettoyyibu) are not (Laa) equal (the same)(Yas'tawii), even if (Walaw') the abundance (Kath'ratu) of bad (El'Khabiithi) might please you (s)

(A'jaba-ka)."So (Fa) beware of GOD (Ettaqu'llaha), O (Yaa) those (U'lii) of intelligence (El'Al'baabi), perhaps you 

(Laållakum') will succeed (Tuf'lihuun).

5:100 Say, “The bad and the good are not same. Let not the abundance of evil dazzle you. O People of understanding! Be mindful of God if you wish to reap a rich harvest.

Note:

The bad or evil is what harms the collective good of humanity and drags the ‘self’ down 14:24. The right is right, and the wrong is wrong regardless of what the majority think. 2:243, 6:116, 11:17(sa).

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَسْأَلُوا عَنْ أَشْيَاءَ إِنْ تُبْدَ لَكُمْ تَسُؤْكُمْ وَإِنْ تَسْأَلُوا عَنْهَا حِينَ يُنَزَّلُ الْقُرْآنُ تُبْدَ لَكُمْ عَفَا اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ۗ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ

হে মুমিনসকল! তোমালোকে এনে কোনো বিষয়ে প্ৰশ্ন নকৰিবা যিটো তোমালোকৰ ওচৰত প্ৰকাশ কৰা হ’লে সেয়া তোমালোকক কষ্ট দিব। আৰু কোৰআন অৱতীৰ্ণ হোৱাৰ সময়ত তোমালোকে যদি তেনেকুৱা কোনো প্ৰশ্ন কৰা তেন্তে সেয়া তোমালোকৰ ওচৰত প্ৰকাশ কৰা হ’ব। আল্লাহে সেইবোৰ ক্ষমা কৰিছে আৰু আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, সহনশীল।

[5:101] O you (Yaa Ayyuha) who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu'), do not (Laa) ask (Tas'alu') about (Ån') things (matters) (Ash'yaa'a), if (In) made clear (Tub'da) to you (Lakum), would distress you (Tasu'kum'), but (Wa) if (In)you ask (Tas'alu') about them (Ån'ha) when (Hiina) the Koran (🦋17:82) (El'Qur'aanu) is revealed (Yunazzalu), 

they will be made clear (Tub'da) to you (Lakum); GOD has overlooked such (Åfaa-llahu Ån'haa). For (Wa)GOD (Ellahu) is Forgiving (Gafuurun) and Clement (Haliim).

(১৭:৮২🦋

وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَاءٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۙ وَلَا يَزِيدُ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا خَسَارًا

আৰু আমি কোৰআন অৱতীৰ্ণ কৰো, যিখন মুমিনসকলৰ বাবে আৰোগ্য🥳 আৰু ৰহমত, কিন্তু ই যালিমসকলৰ ক্ষতিহে বৃদ্ধি কৰে।)

📍Verse/Note-1

5:101 O you who acknowledge, do not ask about things, which if revealed to you, would harm you. If you ask about them after the Quran has been sent down, then they will become clear to you. God pardons for them, and God is Forgiving, Compassionate.

Note:

The Quran explains and details all that we need for attaining salvation. Those who were not satisfied with the details provided by God, asked many trivial questions like some Jews asked before (2:67), and since they could not find answers in the Quran to their questions, they were attracted to hadith. Because of the great demand for more and more details on trivial issues, hadith narration and collection became a booming business. We are told many things ranging from, which order one should clip his or her fingernails in , and how long one should grow his beard, to which foot one should use to first step into the bathroom and on which side one should sleep on (9:31; 42:21)(edip).

📍Verse/Note-2

5:101 O You who have chosen to be graced with belief! Do not ask unnecessary details of things (as the Israelites asked of Moses about the cow 2:68.) This attitude may bring unpleasant consequences for you. But if you ask them as the Qur’an is being revealed, the minor details of Ordinances might be given which will be hard for you to follow. God pardons you in this respect. For, God is Forgiving, Clement.

Note:

The general rule has been given that all pure and good things are permissible to you. Your questions are very clearly answered in the Qur’an 5:15, 15:1, 22:40. The Qur’an is for all times, and while the basic Laws and Principles remain immutable, minor details are intended to be flexible according to temporal and spatial requirements 11:1. This Day I have perfected your religious law for you, completed My favor upon you, and chosen for you Al-Islam as the Way of Life. 5:3(sa).

قَدْ سَأَلَهَا قَوْمٌ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ ثُمَّ أَصْبَحُوا بِهَا كَافِرِينَ

তোমালোকৰ আগতেও এটা সম্প্ৰদায়ে এনেকুৱা ধৰণৰ প্ৰশ্ন কৰিছিল; তাৰ পিছত সিহঁতে ইয়াৰ কাৰণে কাফিৰ হৈ গৈছিল।

[5:102] People (Qaw'mun) have (Qad’) asked such (Sa-ala-haa) before you (Min Qab'li-kum’); yet (Thumma)they became (As'bahu') disbelievers (Kaafiriin) by it (Bihaa).

People before you (Bani-Isr ael) used to ask Moses such questions. (The result of their probing was that they made extra-revelatory laws a part of an unchangeable Shariat and when they found this Shariat impracticable, they repudiated their Deen itself. (🐞2/108)) You should not do that(pz).

أَمْ تُرِيدُونَ أَنْ تَسْأَلُوا رَسُولَكُمْ كَمَا سُئِلَ مُوسَىٰ مِنْ قَبْلُ ۗ وَمَنْ يَتَبَدَّلِ الْكُفْرَ بِالْإِيمَانِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَاءَ السَّبِيلِ

তোমালোকে তোমালোকৰ ৰাছুলক এনেকুৱা প্ৰশ্ন কৰিব বিচৰা নেকি যেনেকুৱা প্ৰশ্ন ইয়াৰ পূৰ্বে মুছাক কৰা হৈছিল? আৰু যিয়ে ঈমানক কুফৰত পৰিবৰ্তন কৰে, নিশ্চয় সি পোন বাট হেৰুৱায়।)

مَا جَعَلَ اللَّهُ مِنْ بَحِيرَةٍ وَلَا سَائِبَةٍ وَلَا وَصِيلَةٍ وَلَا حَامٍ ۙ وَلَٰكِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ ۖ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ

বাহীৰাহ, ছায়েবাহ, অছীলাহ আৰু হাম আল্লাহে প্ৰৱৰ্তন কৰা নাই; কিন্তু কাফিৰসকলে আল্লাহৰ প্ৰতি মিথ্যাৰোপ কৰে আৰু সিহঁতৰ অধিকাংশই নুবুজে।

[5:103] GOD (Ellahu) is not (Maa) made (Jaåla) of (Min) Bahirat (Bahiiratin) nor (Walaa) Saibat (Saa'ibatin)nor (Walaa) Wasilat (Wasiilatin) nor (Walaa) Ham (Haamin), but (Walaakinna) those who (Ellaziina)disbelieve (Kafaru') fabricate (Yaf'taruuna) falsehood (El'Kaziba) about GOD (Ålaallahi), and (Wa) most of 

them (Ak'tharu-hum) do not (Laa) reason (Ya'qiluun).

وَجَعَلُوا لِلَّهِ مِمَّا ذَرَأَ مِنَ الْحَرْثِ وَالْأَنْعَامِ نَصِيبًا فَقَالُوا هَٰذَا لِلَّهِ بِزَعْمِهِمْ وَهَٰذَا لِشُرَكَائِنَا ۖ فَمَا كَانَ لِشُرَكَائِهِمْ فَلَا يَصِلُ إِلَى اللَّهِ ۖ وَمَا كَانَ لِلَّهِ فَهُوَ يَصِلُ إِلَىٰ شُرَكَائِهِمْ ۗ سَاءَ مَا يَحْكُمُونَ

আল্লাহে যি শস্য আৰু চতুষ্পদ জন্তু সৃষ্টি কৰিছে সেইবোৰৰ পৰা সিহঁতে আল্লাহৰ বাবে এটা অংশ নিৰ্দিষ্ট কৰে আৰু নিজৰ ধাৰণা অনুযায়ী কয়, ‘এইটো আল্লাহৰ বাবে আৰু এইটো আমাৰ শ্বৰীকসকলৰ বাবে’। এতেকে যিটো সিহঁতৰ শ্বৰীকসকলৰ অংশ সেয়া আল্লাহৰ ওচৰত গৈ নাপায় কিন্তু যিটো আল্লাহৰ অংশ সেয়া সিহঁতৰ শ্বৰীকসকলৰ ওচৰত পৌঁচি যায়, সিহঁতে যি ফয়চালা কৰে সেয়া কিমান যে নিকৃষ্ট!

৬:১৩৮

وَقَالُوا هَٰذِهِ أَنْعَامٌ وَحَرْثٌ حِجْرٌ لَا يَطْعَمُهَا إِلَّا مَنْ نَشَاءُ بِزَعْمِهِمْ وَأَنْعَامٌ حُرِّمَتْ ظُهُورُهَا وَأَنْعَامٌ لَا يَذْكُرُونَ اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهَا افْتِرَاءً عَلَيْهِ ۚ سَيَجْزِيهِمْ بِمَا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ

আৰু সিহঁতে সিহঁতৰ ধাৰণা অনুযায়ী কয়, ‘এইবোৰ চতুষ্পদ জন্তু আৰু শস্যক্ষেত্ৰ নিষিদ্ধ, আমি যাক ইচ্ছা কৰো তাৰ বাহিৰে কোনেও এইবোৰ খাব নোৱাৰিব’, আৰু কিছুসংখ্যক চতুষ্পদ জন্তুৰ পিঠিত আৰোহণ নিষিদ্ধ কৰা হৈছে আৰু কিছুসংখ্যক পশু জবেহ কৰাৰ সময়ত সিহঁতে আল্লাহৰ নাম নলয়। এই সকলোবোৰ সিহঁতে আল্লাহ সম্পৰ্কে মিছা ৰটনাৰ উদ্দেশ্যে কৈ ফুৰে; সিহঁতৰ এই মিছা ৰটনাৰ প্ৰতিফল তেওঁ অচিৰেই সিহঁতক প্ৰদান কৰিব।

৬:১৪৩

ثَمَانِيَةَ أَزْوَاجٍ ۖ مِنَ الضَّأْنِ اثْنَيْنِ وَمِنَ الْمَعْزِ اثْنَيْنِ ۗ قُلْ آلذَّكَرَيْنِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ أَمَّا اشْتَمَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ أَرْحَامُ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ ۖ نَبِّئُونِي بِعِلْمٍ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ

মতা-মাইকী আঠ যোৰ, ভেৰাৰ দুটা আৰু ছাগলীৰ দুটা; কোৱা, ‘তেওঁ মতা দুটাক নিষিদ্ধ কৰিছে নে মাইকী দুটাক, নে মাইকী দুটাৰ গৰ্ভত যি আছে সেয়া নিষিদ্ধ কৰিছে’? যদি তোমালোকে সত্যবাদী তেন্তে প্ৰমাণসহ মোক অৱহিত কৰা;

৬:১৪৪

وَمِنَ الْإِبِلِ اثْنَيْنِ وَمِنَ الْبَقَرِ اثْنَيْنِ ۗ قُلْ آلذَّكَرَيْنِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ أَمَّا اشْتَمَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ أَرْحَامُ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ ۖ أَمْ كُنْتُمْ شُهَدَاءَ إِذْ وَصَّاكُمُ اللَّهُ بِهَٰذَا ۚ فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا لِيُضِلَّ النَّاسَ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ

আৰু উটৰ দুটা ও গৰুৰ দুটা। কোৱা, ‘তেওঁ মতা দুটাক নিষিদ্ধ কৰিছে নে মাইকী দুটাক, নে মাইকী দুটাৰ গৰ্ভত যি আছে সেয়া নিষিদ্ধ কৰিছে’? নে আল্লাহে যেতিয়া তোমালোকক এইবোৰ নিৰ্দেশ দান কৰিছিল তেতিয়া তোমালোকে উপস্থিত আছিলা? গতিকে যি ব্যক্তিয়ে নজনাকৈ মানুহক বিভ্ৰান্ত কৰাৰ বাবে আল্লাহ সম্পৰ্কে মিছা ৰটনা কৰে তাতকৈ ডাঙৰ যালিম আৰু কোন হ’ব পাৰে? নিশ্চয় আল্লাহে যালিম সম্প্ৰদায়ক হিদায়ত নকৰে।

🌈৫:১০৪(Do Not Follow Your Parents' Religion Blindly).

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا إِلَىٰ مَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ وَإِلَى الرَّسُولِ قَالُوا حَسْبُنَا مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءَنَا ۚ أَوَلَوْ كَانَ آبَاؤُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ شَيْئًا وَلَا يَهْتَدُونَ

আৰু যেতিয়া সিহঁতক কোৱা হয়, ‘আল্লাহে যি অৱতীৰ্ণ কৰিছে সেইপিনে আৰু ৰাছুলৰ পিনে আহা’, তেতিয়া সিহঁতে কয়, ‘আমি আমাৰ পূৰ্বপুৰুষসকলক যিটোত পাইছো সেইটোৱেই আমাৰ বাবে যথেষ্ট’। যদিও সিহঁতৰ পূৰ্বপুৰুষসকলে একো জনা নাছিল আৰু সৎপথপ্ৰাপ্তও নাছিল, (তথাপিও অনুসৰণ কৰিবনে?)

[5:104] And (Wa) when (Izaa) they are told (Qiila La-hum), "Come (Ta'aalaw) to (ilaa) what (Maa) GOD has revealed(Anzala-llahu) and (Wa) to (ilaa) the Messenger (Er'Rasuuli)," they say (Qaalu'), "What (Maa) we found (Wajad'naa) our fathers (Aabaa'a-naa) upon (Ålai'hi) is enough for us (Has'bu-naa)." What if(Awalaw') their fathers (Aabaau-hum') did not (Laa) know (Ya'lumuuna) anything (Shai'an), nor (Walaa)were they guided (Yah'taduun)?

📍Verse/Note:

5:104-When they are asked to come to what Allah has revealed and to His Rasool, they will say: No, we will only follow in the footsteps of our ancestors. In other words they would follow in the footsteps of their ancestors even if the latter lacked knowledge and wisdom and did not follow the right path revealed by Allah (2/170).

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْفُسَكُمْ ۖ لَا يَضُرُّكُمْ مَنْ ضَلَّ إِذَا اهْتَدَيْتُمْ ۚ إِلَى اللَّهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعًا فَيُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

হে মুমিনসকল! তোমালোকৰ দায়িত্ব তোমালোকৰ ওপৰতেই। তোমালোকে যদি সৎপথত পৰিচালিত হোৱা তেন্তে যিয়ে পথভ্ৰষ্ট হৈছে সি তোমালোকৰ কোনো ক্ষতি কৰিব নোৱাৰিব। আল্লাহৰ পিনেই তোমালোক সকলোৰে প্ৰত্যাৱৰ্তন, তাৰ পিছত তোমালোকে যি কৰিছিলা সেই সম্বন্ধে তেওঁ তোমালোকক অৱহিত কৰিব।

[5:105] O you (Yaa Ayyuha) who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu'), your souls (Anfusa-kum') are upon you (Ålai'kum'). Whoever (Man) is misguided (Dolla) cannot (Laa) harm you (Yadurru-kum) when (Izaa) youhave been guided (Eh'tadai'tum'). To GOD (ilaallahi) is your return (Mar'jiu-kum') all together (Jamiiån); then (Fa) HE will inform you (Yunabbiu-kum) of what (Bimaa) you have (Kuntum') done (Ta'maluun).

📍Verse/Note:

5:105- O Jama at-ul-Momineen you alone are responsible for the development of your personality (Nafs). If you follow the right path which may be different from your ancestors path, you will not be harmed by those who follow the wrong path. After all, all human actions are judged according to 

Allah's law of Mukafat(pz).
