📍Verse/Note:
4:92 No believer shall kill another believer, unless it is an accident. If one kills a believer by accident, he shall atone by freeing a believing slave, and paying a compensation to the victim's family, unless they forfeit such a compensation as a charity. If the victim belonged to people who are at war with you, though he was a believer, you shall atone by freeing a believing slave. If he belonged to people with whom you have signed a peace treaty, you shall pay the compensation in addition to freeing a believing slave. If you cannot find a slave to free, you shall atone by fasting two consecutive months, in order to be redeemed by GOD. GOD is Knower, Most Wise.,
.
Since slavery does not exist, the offender must atone by fasting two consecutive months(rk).

.
Unjust killing of any human being, regardless of color, creed, religion or sex is a grievous offense that is tantamount to slaying the entire humankind 5:32. So, the offender shall be punished accordingly. Intentional murder of any human being is also a crime against the State, therefore, the State would be responsible for tracing, and bringing the offender to justice. [4:94] O you (Yaa Ayyuha) who (Ellaziina) have believed (Aamanuu'), whenever (Izaa) you strike

.
📍Verse/Note-1
4:94- When you go forth to fight in the cause of Allah, make sure that you know who your friends and
enemies are. If anyone sends you an offer of peace do not say to him you are not sincere in your offer and
wage war against him. By this way you may get some spoils of war but do not forget that whatever you will
get by obeying Allah s Laws will be much more. You used to look for such excuses in the pre-Islam period.
Allah has shown you the right path. You should therefore probe carefully before taking a decision. Allah is
well-aware of what you do(pz).
.
📍Verse/Note-2
4:94 O You who have chosen to be graced with belief! When you go forth in the cause of God (to meet the armed challenge), use your discernment. And do not say, out of a desire for the fleeting gains of this worldly life, to anyone who offers you the greeting of peace, “You are not a believer.” For with God are abundant gains. Remember, once you were ignorant, and you were weak like the disbelievers are now. God has been Gracious to you, so be gracious to His servants (9:128, 90:17). Use your discernment. God is always Aware of what you do.

[4:95] Not (Laa) equal (Yas'tawii) are those sitting back (El'Qaaeduuna) among (Mina) the believers
(El'Mu'miniina) other than (Gai'ru) those (U'lii) who were injured (Ed'Dorari) and (Wa) the strivers
(El'Mujaahiduuna) in (Fii) the way of GOD (Sabiili-llahi) with (Bi) their wealth (Am'waali-him') and their
souls(Anfusi-him'). GOD has favoured (Faddola-llahu) the strivers (El'Mujaahidiina) with (Bi) their wealth

(Darajatan). And (Wa) GOD has promised (WaÃĨda-llahu) the best (El'Hus'naa) for both (Kullan). But (Wa)
GOD has favoured (Faddola-llahu) the strivers (El'Mujaahidiina) over (Ålaa) those sitting back

📍Verse/Note:
4:95 Such of the believers as remain passive - other than the disabled - cannot be deemed equal to those who striveđŸ’Ĩ hard in God's cause with their possessions and their lives:# God has exalted those who strive hard with their possessions and their lives far above those who remain passive. Although God has promised the ultimate good unto all [believers], yet has God exalted those who strive hard above those who remain passive by [promising them] a mighty reward.
.
The term # 👉mujahid is derived from the verb đŸ’Ĩjahada, which means "he struggled" or "strove hard" or "exerted himself", namely, in a good cause and against evil. Consequently, jihad denotes "striving in the cause of God" in the widest sense of this expression: that is to say, it applies not merely to physical warfare (qital) but to any righteous struggle in the moral sense as well; thus, for instance, it can be described man's struggle against his own passions and weaknesses (jihad an-nafs) as the "greatest jihad"(as-rf).
.
War is permitted only for self-defense. See 60:7(edip).
