🤎৪:৮৮(How to Deal With the Hypocrites).
۞ فَمَا لَكُمْ فِي الْمُنَافِقِينَ فِئَتَيْنِ وَاللَّهُ أَرْكَسَهُمْ بِمَا كَسَبُوا ۚ أَتُرِيدُونَ أَنْ تَهْدُوا مَنْ أَضَلَّ اللَّهُ ۖ وَمَنْ يُضْلِلِ اللَّهُ فَلَنْ تَجِدَ لَهُ سَبِيلًا
এতেকে তোমালোকৰ কি হ’ল, তোমালোকে মুনাফিকসকলৰ বিষয়ে দুই দলত বিভক্ত হৈ গ’লা? অথচ সিহঁতে যি অৰ্জন কৰিছে তাৰবাবে আল্লাহে সিহঁতক পূৰ্বাৱস্থালৈ ওভোতাই দিছে। আল্লাহে যাক পথভ্ৰষ্ট কৰিছে তোমালোকে তাক সৎপথত পৰিচালিত কৰিব বিচৰা নেকি? আৰু আল্লাহে কাৰোবাক পথভ্ৰষ্ট কৰিলে তুমি তাৰবাবে কেতিয়াও কোনো পথ বিচাৰি নাপাবা।

[4:88] So (Fa) why are you (Maa Lakum') two parties (Fiatai'ni) concerning (Fii) the hypocrites (El'Munaafiqiina), while (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) has orchestrated them (Ar'kasa-hum) because of what (Bimaa)
they have earned (Kasabuu')? Do you intend (Aturiidu) to (An) guide (Tah'du') those (Man') sent astray by GOD (Adolla-llahu)? And whoever (Waman) GOD sends astray (Yud'lili-llahu), then (Fa) you will never
(Lan) find (Tajida) a way (Sabiilan) for him (Lahu).

4:88 Then, how could you be of two minds about the hypocrites, seeing that God has disowned them because of their own guilt? Can you guide anyone against God’s law? Do you seek to find a way of enlightenment for those who violate God’s laws of guidance?

The law: Using the faculties of perception and reasoning, keeping an open mind - and freedom from prejudice, arrogance, and blind following will help people to recognize the truth. وَدُّوا لَوْ تَكْفُرُونَ كَمَا كَفَرُوا فَتَكُونُونَ سَوَاءً ۖ فَلَا تَتَّخِذُوا مِنْهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءَ حَتَّىٰ يُهَاجِرُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۚ فَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَخُذُوهُمْ وَاقْتُلُوهُمْ حَيْثُ وَجَدْتُمُوهُمْ ۖ وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوا مِنْهُمْ وَلِيًّا وَلَا نَصِيرًا
সিহঁতে এইটোৱেই কামনা কৰে যে, সিহঁতে যেনেকৈ কুফৰী কৰিছে তোমালোকেও তেনেকৈ কুফৰী কৰা, যাতে তোমালোকে সিহঁতৰ সমান হ’ব পাৰা। সেয়ে আল্লাহৰ পথত হিজৰত নকৰালৈকে সিহঁতৰ কাকো বন্ধুৰূপে গ্ৰহণ নকৰিবা। যদি সিহঁতে মুখ ঘূৰাই লয়, তেন্তে সিহঁতক য’তেই পাবা গ্ৰেফতাৰ কৰিবা আৰু হত্যা কৰিবা আৰু সিহঁতৰ মাজৰ কাকো বন্ধু আৰু সহায়কৰূপে গ্ৰহণ নকৰিবা।

[4:89] They wish (Waddu' Law') you would disbelieve (Tak'furuuna) just as (Kamaa) they have disbelieved (Kafaru'), then (Fa) you would become (Takuunuuna) equal (Sawaa'an). So do not (Falaa) take (Tattakhizu)allies (Aw'liyaa'a) from them (Min'hum') until (Hattaa) they emigrate (Yuhaajiru') in (Fii) the way of GOD
(Sabiili-llahi). But (Fa) if (In) they (the hypocrites) turn away (Tawallaw'), then (Fa) seize them (Khuzuu-hum') and
(Wa) kill them (Eq'tuluu-hum') wherever (Hai'thu) you find them (Wajadttumuu-hum'). And (Wa) do not (Laa) take (Tattakhizu') from them (Min'hum')anyally (Waliyyan) nor (Walaa) helper (Nasiiraa).

📍Verse/Note:
4:89 They (these hypocrites) wish that you reject faith as they have rejected it, and thus become same as them. So, do not consider them friends unless they practically demonstrate that they have changed, and move along with you in the way of God. But if they turn back, resuming their behavior of being with you in word, and against you in action, (they are more dangerous than your open enemies). Then subdue them regardless of which group they belong to, and choose no friend or helper from among them(sa).

Note the exception in 4:90. The apostates cannot be harmed unless they participate in a war against muslims (2:256). For the basic principles of war see 8:19; 60:8-9, and 9:29(edip).

إِلَّا الَّذِينَ يَصِلُونَ إِلَىٰ قَوْمٍ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ مِيثَاقٌ أَوْ جَاءُوكُمْ حَصِرَتْ صُدُورُهُمْ أَنْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ أَوْ يُقَاتِلُوا قَوْمَهُمْ ۚ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَسَلَّطَهُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ فَلَقَاتَلُوكُمْ ۚ فَإِنِ اعْتَزَلُوكُمْ فَلَمْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ وَأَلْقَوْا إِلَيْكُمُ السَّلَمَ فَمَا جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ سَبِيلًا
কিন্তু (সিহঁতক হত্যা নকৰিবা) যিসকলে এনে এটা সম্প্ৰদায়ৰ লগত মিলিত হয় যাৰ মাজত আৰু তোমালোকৰ মাজত সন্ধিচুক্তি আছে অথবা যিসকলে তোমালোকৰ ওচৰত এনেকুৱা অৱস্থাত আগমন কৰে যেতিয়া সিহঁতৰ মন তোমালোকৰ লগত বা সিহঁতৰ সম্প্ৰদায়ৰ লগত যুদ্ধ কৰিবলৈ সংকুচিত হয়। আল্লাহে যদি ইচ্ছা কৰিলেহেঁতেন তেন্তে সিহঁতক তোমালোকৰ ওপৰত ক্ষমতা দিলেহেঁতেন ফলত সিহঁতে তোমালোকৰ লগত যুদ্ধ কৰিলেহেঁতেন। এতেকে সিহঁতে যদি তোমালোকৰ পৰা আঁতৰি যায়, তোমালোকৰ লগত যুদ্ধ নকৰে আৰু তোমালোকৰ ওচৰত শান্তিৰ প্ৰস্তাৱ উপস্থাপন কৰে তেন্তে আল্লাহে তোমালোকৰ বাবে সিহঁতৰ বিৰুদ্ধে কোনো ব্যৱস্থা অৱলম্বনৰ পথ ৰখা নাই।

[4:90] Except (illa) those who (Ellaziina) adjoin (Yasiluuna ilaa) a people (Qaw'mi) between you and them (Bai'na-kum' Wa Bai'na-hum) is a covenant (Miithaaqun) or (Aw') come to you (Jaa'uu-kum') with their
bosoms (Suduuru-hum') restrained (Hasirat') from (An) fighting you (Yuqaatiluu-kum') or (Aw') fighting (Yuqaatilu') their people (Qaw'ma-hum'). And (Wa) if (Law') GOD had willed (Shaa'a-llahu), HE could have
(La) granted them power (Sallato-hum') over you (Ålai'kum'), and (Fa) they would have (La) fought you (Qaataluu-kum'). Therefore (Fa) if (Ini) they dissociate from you (E'tazaluu-kum') and (Fa) do not (Lam')
fight you (Yuqaatiluu-kum') and (Wa) offer you (Al'qaw' ilai'kumu) peace (Es'Salama), then (Fa) GOD (Ellahu)has not (Maa) granted you (Jaåla lakum') a way (Sabiilan) against them (Ålai'him').

📍Verse/Note:
4:90 Do not fight the hypocrites who join a people with whom you have signed a peace treaty. And do not fight those who come to you wishing not to fight you or their believing relatives. Had God willed they could have fought you. Therefore, if they leave you alone, and offer you peace, God has opened no way for you but the way of peace.

Your prime duty remains the establishment and defense of the Divine Order in which there is no room for revenge. 24:22(sa).

وَلَا يَأْتَلِ أُولُو الْفَضْلِ مِنْكُمْ وَالسَّعَةِ أَنْ يُؤْتُوا أُولِي الْقُرْبَىٰ وَالْمَسَاكِينَ وَالْمُهَاجِرِينَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۖ وَلْيَعْفُوا وَلْيَصْفَحُوا ۗ أَلَا تُحِبُّونَ أَنْ يَغْفِرَ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
আৰু তোমালোকৰ মাজত যিসকল ঐশ্বৰ্যশালী আৰু প্ৰাচুৰ্যৰ অধিকাৰী তেওঁলোকে যেন এইবুলি শপত গ্ৰহণ নকৰে যে, সিহঁতে আত্মীয়-স্বজন, অভাৱগ্ৰস্তক আৰু আল্লাহৰ ৰাস্তাত হিজৰতকাৰীসকলক একোৱে প্ৰদান নকৰিব; তেওঁলোকে যেন সিহঁতক ক্ষমা কৰি দিয়ে আৰু সিহঁতৰ দোষ-ত্ৰুটি উপেক্ষা কৰে। তোমালোকে নিবিচৰা নেকি যে, আল্লাহে তোমালোকক ক্ষমা কৰক? আৰু আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, পৰম দয়ালু।

سَتَجِدُونَ آخَرِينَ يُرِيدُونَ أَنْ يَأْمَنُوكُمْ وَيَأْمَنُوا قَوْمَهُمْ كُلَّ مَا رُدُّوا إِلَى الْفِتْنَةِ أُرْكِسُوا فِيهَا ۚ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَعْتَزِلُوكُمْ وَيُلْقُوا إِلَيْكُمُ السَّلَمَ وَيَكُفُّوا أَيْدِيَهُمْ فَخُذُوهُمْ وَاقْتُلُوهُمْ حَيْثُ ثَقِفْتُمُوهُمْ ۚ وَأُولَٰئِكُمْ جَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَانًا مُبِينًا
তোমালোকে অনতিপলমে আন কিছুমান লোকক পাবা যিসকলে তোমালোকৰ লগত আৰু সিহঁতৰ সম্প্ৰদায়ৰ লগত শান্তি বিচাৰিব। যেতিয়াই সিহঁতক ফিতনাৰ ফালে মনোনিৱেশ কৰোৱা হয় তেতিয়াই এই বিষয়ে সিহঁতে সিহঁতৰ আগৰ অৱস্থালৈ উভতি যায়। যদি সিহঁতে তোমালোকৰ পৰা বিৰত নাথাকে, তোমালোকৰ ওচৰত শান্তি প্ৰস্তাৱ নকৰে আৰু সিহঁতৰ হস্ত সম্বৰণ নকৰে তেন্তে সিহঁতক য’তেই পাবা গ্ৰেফতাৰ কৰিবা আৰু হত্যা কৰিবা, আৰু আমি তোমালোকক ইহঁতৰ বিৰুদ্ধাচৰণৰ স্পষ্ট অধিকাৰ দিছো।

[4:91] You will find (Sa Tajiduuna) others (Aakhariina) who intend (Yuriiduuna) to (An) be secured with you (Ya'manuu-kum') and (Wa) be secured with (Ya'manu') their people (Qaw'ma-hum'). Whenever (Kulla Maa) they are returned (Rudduu') to (ilaa) a trial (El'Fit'nati), they orchestrate (Ur'kisu') therein (Fiihaa). So (Fa) if (In) they do not (Lam') dissociate from you (Ya'taziluu-kum') and (Wa) offer you (Yul'quu' ilai'kumu)peace (Es'Salama) and (Wa) refrain (Yakuffuu') their hands (Ai'diya-hum'), then (Fa) seize them (Khuzuu-hum') and (Wa) kill them (Eq'tuluu-hum') wherever (Hai'thu) you apprehend them (Thaqif'tumuu-hum').
And (Wa) those (U'laaikum'), We have granted you (Jaål'naa Lakum') a clear (Mubiinan) authority (Sul'toanan) against them (Ålai'him').

📍Verse/Note:
4:91 You will find others who desire peace for their people and make peace with you. But at the slightest opportune moment they come to fight against you. If they neither leave you alone, nor offer peace, nor hold their hands, subdue them regardless of which group they belong to. In their case, God has given you a clear authority🦋 to fight(sa).
(🦋"that We have given you clear authority (sultan)" - a solemn reiteration of the ordinance which permits war only in self-defence -2:190🎍)(as).
