.
[3:158] And (Wa) whether (Lain) you died (Muttum') or (Aw') get killed (Qutil'tum'), you will (La) be
assemble (Tuh'sharuun) before GOD (ilaallahi).
.
(The Messenger's Kindness).
.
[3:159] And (Fa) because of (Bimaa) the mercy (Rah'matin) from GOD (Minallahi), you (s) were gentle
(Linta) to them (Lahum'). And (Wa) had you been (Law' Kunta) rude (Fazzoan) and harsh (Galiizo) by heart
(El'Qal'bi), they would have (La) disbanded (Enfaddu') around you (s) (Min' Haw'li-ka). So (Fa) pardon them
(E'fu Ån'hum') and (Wa) seek forgiveness (Es'tag'fir') for them (Lahum') and (Wa) consult them
(Shaawir'hum') about (Fii) the matter (El'Am'ri). And (Fa) when (Izaa) you have decided (Åzam'ta), then (Fa)
rely (Tawakkal') on GOD (Ålaallahi). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) loves (Yuhibbu) those of confidence
(El'Mutawakkiliin).
.
📍Verse/Note:
3:159 It was a mercy from God that you were soft towards them; had you been harsh and mean hearted, they would have dispersed from you; so pardon them and ask forgiveness for them, and consult them in the matter; but when you are convinced, then put your trust in God; God loves those who trust.
.
The Quran provides us with good examples of Muhammed's attitude, behavior and actions. Here we learn that he was not a harsh man. In hadith books, however, we see numerous bad actions attributed to Muhammed. For instance, in a hadith narrated by many so-called "authentic" books, including Bukhari, Muhammed advised a group from the Urayna and Uqayla tribes to drink camel urine as medicine, and then upon learning that they killed his shepherd, he cut off their arms and legs, gouged their eyes with hot nails and left them dying under the sun, denying his companions from giving them water. Bukhari and many other hadith collections contain many insults to Muhammed. The portrait of Muhammed in hadith books is a person with multiple personalities, oscillating between extremes: a merciful person and a violent torturer; a modest person and a sexual maniac; a genius and an imbecile. No wonder the Quran refers to those collections with prophetic language in 6:112 as devils' revelation. See 33:21(edip)
.
Consensus: decide by general agreement - but remain within the Quranic Permanent Values and Absolute laws. See verse 42:38; 49:2; 58:11; 62:9-11(sig).
.
.
[3:160] If (In) GOD (Ellahu) should support you (p) (Yansur'kumu), then (Fa) none (Laa) can overcome you
(Gaaliba La-kum); but (Wa) if (In) HE should forsake you (Yakh'zul'kum'), then (Fa) who (Man) is there that
(Zaallazii) can support you (Yansuru-kum) after HIM (Min Ba'adi-hi)? So let (Fal') the believers
(El'Mu'minuun) rely (Yatawakkali) on GOD (Ålaallahi).
.
📍Verse/Note:
3:160 Remember, when God helps you, none can overcome you. But if He forsakes you (for your forsaking Him), who is there to help you thereafter? In God, then, let the believers put their trust.
.
He is Trustworthy since He never changes His laws(sa).
.
(None is Above the Law and Justice).
.
[3:161] And (Wa) it is (Kaana) not (Maa) for (Li) a prophet (Nabiyyin) to (An) trespass (intrude) (Yagulla). For
(Wa) whoever (Man) trespasses (Yag'lul') will come (Ya'ti) with what (Bimaa) he trespassed (Galla) on the
Day of Resurrection (Yaw'mal' Qiyaamati). Therefore (Thumma) every (Kullu) soul (Naf'sin) will be paid
(Tuwaffaa) for what (Maa) it earned (Kasabat') and (Wa) they (Hum') will not (Laa) be wronged (Yuz'lamuun).
.
.
[3:162] So is one who (Afa-mani) pursues (Ettabaå) the approval of GOD (📍2:207) (Rid'waana-llahi) like (Ka)
one who (Man) brings in (Baa’a Bi) wrath (Sakhatin) from GOD (Minallahi) and (Wa) whose refuge
(Ma'waa-hu) is Hell (Jahannamu)? And (Wa) wretched (Ba'sa) is the destiny (El'Masiir).
.
📍Verse/Note:
162-163- Those who conform to Allah s plans cannot be placed on the same footing as those who do not. The latter s abode shall be hell, how vile a journey s end! The former shall have a very high rank
in the estimation of Allah Who is aware of what they do (6/133, 84/19)(pz).
.
.
[3:163] Theirs (Hum') are degrees (Darajaatun) at GOD (Endallahi), for (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is cognizant
(Basiiru) of what (Bimaa) they do (Ya'maluun).
.
📍See above note.
And, 3:163 They have different ranks in the Sight of God, for, God is Seer of what they do.
.
Conduct is the sole determining factor for ranks with God. 6:132-133, 49:13, 84:19(sa).
.
.
[3:164] GOD (Ellahu) has certainly (Laqad') favoured (Manna Ålaa) the believers (El'Mu'miniina) when (Iz')
HE raised (Baåtha) among them (Fiihim') a messenger (Rasuulan) from (Min') themselves (Anfusi-him'),
reciting (Yat'lu') to them (Ålai'him') HIS verses (Aayaati-hi), purifying them (Yuzakkii-him') and (Wa)
teaching (Yuållimu-humu) the Book (El'Kitaaba) and Wisdom (Wal' Hik'mata), although (Wa In) they were
(Kaanu') in (Lafii) clear (Mubiin) error (Dolaalin), earlier (Min Qab'lu).
(2:151📍)
.
📍Note:
Do the words in 16:44, 16:64, 3:164 and 2:129 authorise the hadith
as a second source of Law besides the Quran?(q-islam)- See-LINK:
.
📍Verse/Note:
3:164- Allah has been gracious indeed to the Momineen when He raised from amongst their own
people a Rasool who communicates His Laws to them, purifies and develops their character and
teaches them the Book and its objectives. Hitherto, they were in a state of rank ignorance(pz).
