💐৩:৩৭
فَتَقَبَّلَهَا رَبُّهَا بِقَبُولٍ حَسَنٍ وَأَنْبَتَهَا نَبَاتًا حَسَنًا وَكَفَّلَهَا زَكَرِيَّا ۖ كُلَّمَا دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا زَكَرِيَّا الْمِحْرَابَ وَجَدَ عِنْدَهَا رِزْقًا ۖ قَالَ يَا مَرْيَمُ أَنَّىٰ لَكِ هَٰذَا ۖ قَالَتْ هُوَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَرْزُقُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ
তাৰ পিছত তেওঁৰ প্ৰতিপালকে তেওঁক আগ্ৰহেৰে কবুল কৰিলে আৰু তেওঁক উত্তমৰূপে লালন-পালন কৰিলে আৰু যাকাৰিয়্যাৰ তত্ত্বাৱধানত ৰাখিলে। যেতিয়াই যাকাৰিয়্যাহ তেওঁৰ মেহৰাবত প্ৰৱেশ কৰিছিল, তেতিয়াই তেওঁৰ ওচৰত খাদ্য সামগ্ৰী দেখিবলৈ পাইছিল। তেওঁ কৈছিল, ‘হে মাৰইয়াম! এইবোৰ তুমি ক’ত পালা? তেওঁ (মাৰইয়ামে) কৈছিল, ‘এইবোৰ আল্লাহৰ তৰফৰ পৰা’। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহে যাক ইচ্ছা কৰে অপৰিমিত জীৱিকা দান কৰে।

[3:37] So (Fa) her LORD (Rabbu-ha) accepted her (Taqabbala-ha) with (Bi) good (Hasanin) acceptance (Qabuulin) and (Wa) grew her (Anbata-ha) in good (Hasanan) growth (Nabaatan) and Zechariah (Zakariyya) supported her (looked after) (Kaffala-haa). Whenever (Kullamaa) Zechariah (Zakariyya) entered (Dakhala) the sanctum (El'Mih'raaba) to her (Ålai'ha), he found (Wajada) sustenance (Riz'qa) with her (Endahaa). He said (Qaala), "O (Yaa) Mary (Mar'yamu), how (Annaa) did you get (Laka) this (Haaza)?" She
said (Qaalat'), "It (Huwa) was from GOD (Min Endi-llahi). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) provides for (Yar'zuqu)whomever (Man) HE wills (Yashaau) without (Bi-Gai'ri) reckoning (Hisaab)."

📍Verse/Note:
3:37 Her Lord accepted her graciously. (Mary was dedicated to the temple) and He made her grow in purity and elegance, a gracious upbringing, under the guardianship of Zakariya (Zacharias). Whenever he entered the chamber of Mary, he found that she had food. (Knowingly) he asked, “O Mary! Where does this food come from?” She said, “It is from God.” God provides according to His laws, beyond reckoning(sa).

Zakariya was a Prophet of God and a distant uncle of Mary. ‘It is from God’… Visitors to the sanctuary serve the saints. Many of them bring gifts to get their vows fulfilled. Yasha in reference to God = Through His laws = Common mistranslation, ‘as He pleases’. Bighayiri hisaab = Beyond reckoning = Without account = Humans cannot reckon God’s Power of sustaining and providing the entire Universe. The last sentence of the verse cannot be a quote from Mary, as generally suggested, since she would not lecture a Prophet of God

💐৩:৩৮(The Birth of Yahya (John)
هُنَالِكَ دَعَا زَكَرِيَّا رَبَّهُ ۖ قَالَ رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةً ۖ إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ
সেই ঠাইতে যাকাৰিয়্যাই তেওঁৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ ওচৰত প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰি ক’লে, ‘হে মোৰ ৰব! তুমি মোক তোমাৰ ফালৰ পৰা উত্তম সন্তান প্ৰদান কৰা। নিশ্চয় তুমি প্ৰাৰ্থনা শ্ৰৱণকাৰী’।

[3:38] It was there (Hunaalika) Zechariah (Zakariyya) invoked (Daåå) his LORD (Rabba-hu), "LORD (Rabbi), grant me (Hab' Lii) a good (Toyyibatan) offspring (Zurriyyatan) from YOU (Min Ladun-ka). Indeed, YOU (Innaka) are the hearer (Samiiu) of invocation (Ed'Duåå')."

💐৩:৩৯(The Birth of Yahya (John)
فَنَادَتْهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي فِي الْمِحْرَابِ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يُبَشِّرُكَ بِيَحْيَىٰ مُصَدِّقًا بِكَلِمَةٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَسَيِّدًا وَحَصُورًا وَنَبِيًّا مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
তাৰ পিছত যেতিয়া যাকাৰিয়্যাই ইবাদত কক্ষত চালাতত থিয় হৈছিল, তেতিয়া ফিৰিস্তাসকলে তেওঁক আহ্বান কৰি ক’লে, ‘নিশ্চয় আল্লাহে আপোনাক ইয়াহইয়াৰ সুসংবাদ দিছে, তেওঁ হ’ব আল্লাহৰ তৰফৰ পৰা আগমনকৃত এটা কলিমাৰ সত্যায়নকাৰী, নেতা, ভোগ আসক্তিমুক্ত আৰু পূণ্যৱানসকলৰ অন্তৰ্ভুক্ত এজন নবী’।

[3:39] And (Fa) the Angels (El'Malaaikatu) called him (Naadat'hu) while (Wa) he (Huwa) was standing(Qaaimun) and praying (Yusollii) in (Fii) the sanctum (El'Mih'raabi) that (Anna),"GOD (Ellaha) gives you good news (Yubasshiru-ka) of (Bi) John (Yah'yaa), confirming (Musoddiqa) a (Bi) word (Kalimatin) from GOD (Minallahi) as (Wa) a leader (Sayyidan), stringent (Hasuuran) and (Wa) a prophet (Nabiyyan) among(Mina) the righteous (Es'Soalihiin)."

📍Note:
In view of the fact that the expression kalimah is often used in the Qur'an to denote an announcement from God, or a statement of His will, or His promise (e.g., 4:171, 6:34 and 115, 10:64, 18:27, and so forth), we must conclude that in the above passage, too, the "word from God" which would be confirmed by the birth of John (described in the Gospels as "John the Baptist") refers to a divine promise given through revelation, agreeable with a similar announcement conveyed to Mary regarding the birth of Jesus (see verse 45 of this surah)(sa.ediraf)

قَالَ رَبِّ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِي غُلَامٌ وَقَدْ بَلَغَنِيَ الْكِبَرُ وَامْرَأَتِي عَاقِرٌ ۖ قَالَ كَذَٰلِكَ اللَّهُ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَاءُ
তেওঁ ক’লে, ‘হে মোৰ ৰব! মোৰ সন্তান কেনেকৈ হ’ব? অথচ মোৰ বাৰ্ধক্য আহি পৰিছে আৰু মোৰ স্ত্ৰীও বন্ধ্যা’। তেওঁ (আল্লাহে) ক’লে, ‘এইদৰেই’। আল্লাহে যিটো ইচ্ছা সেইটোৱে কৰে।

[3:40] He (Zechariah) said (Qaala), "LORD (Rabbi), how (Annaa) can I have (Yakuunu Lii) a boy (Gulaamun)while (Wa) I have already (Qad') reached (Balaganii) old age (El'Kibaru), and (Wa) my wife (Em'ra'atii) is barren (Ååqirun)?" He (the Angel) said, "Thus (Kazaalika) does GOD (Ellahu) do (Yaf'ålu) whatever (Maa) HE wills (Yashaa')."

📍Verse/Note:
3:40 Zakariya prayed to God, but then wondered, “My Lord! How could I have a son when old age has overtaken me already and my wife is barren?” He said, “So it will be, God does everything according to His laws.”

The infertility in his wife was cured. 21:90(sa).

💐৩:৪১
قَالَ رَبِّ اجْعَلْ لِي آيَةً ۖ قَالَ آيَتُكَ أَلَّا تُكَلِّمَ النَّاسَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ إِلَّا رَمْزًا ۗ وَاذْكُرْ رَبَّكَ كَثِيرًا وَسَبِّحْ بِالْعَشِيِّ وَالْإِبْكَارِ
তেওঁ ক’লে, ‘হে মোৰ ৰব! মোক এটা নিদৰ্শন দিয়া’। তেওঁ ক’লে, ‘তোমাৰ নিদৰ্শন এইটো যে, তিনিদিন লৈকে তুমি আকাৰ-ইঙ্গিতৰ বাহিৰে মানুহৰ লগত কথা ক’ব নোৱাৰিবা। এতেকে তোমাৰ প্ৰতিপালকক অধিক স্মৰণ কৰা আৰু পুৱা-গধূলি তেওঁৰ পৱিত্ৰতা-মহিমা ঘোষণা কৰা’।

[3:41] He (Zechariah) said (Qaala), "LORD (Rabbi), grant me (Ej'ål Lii) a sign (Aayatan)." HE (God) said (Qaala), "Your sign (Aayatu-ka) is not to (Alla) speak (Tukallima) to the people (En'Naasa)for three (Thalaathata) days
(Ayyaamin), except (illa) by signal (Ram'zan). And (Wa) remember (Ez'kur) your LORD (Rabba-ka)frequently (Kathiiran) and (Wa) glorify (Sabbih') in the evening (Bil' Åshiyyi) and early in the morning(Wal' Ib'kaar)."

📍Verse/Note:
3:41 Thankful, Zakariya asked, “My Lord! Give a message to me.” He said, “The message to you is that you shall not speak to people for three days (and nights), except by signs. Remember your Lord much and keep striving in His cause night and day.”

19:10. Abstaining from speech would save the elderly couple from the embarrassing curiosity of people(sa).

💐৩:৪২(The Birth of Esau (Jesus)
وَإِذْ قَالَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ يَا مَرْيَمُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصْطَفَاكِ وَطَهَّرَكِ وَاصْطَفَاكِ عَلَىٰ نِسَاءِ الْعَالَمِينَ
আৰু স্মৰণ কৰা, যেতিয়া ফিৰিস্তাসকলে ক’লে, ‘হে মাৰইয়াম! নিশ্চয় আল্লাহে আপোনাক মনোনীত কৰিছে আৰু পৱিত্ৰ কৰিছে আৰু বিশ্বজগতৰ নাৰীসকলৰ ওপৰত আপোনাক মনোনীত কৰিছে’।

[3:42] And (Wa) when (Iz') the Angels (El'Malaa’ikatu) said (Qaalati), "O (Yaa) Mary (Mar'yamu), indeed GOD (Innallaha) has chosen you (Es'tofaa-ki) and purified you (Tohhara-ki), and has chosen you (Es'tofaa-
ki) over (Ålaa) the women (Nisaa'i) of the worlds (El'Åålamiin).

📍Verse/Note:
3:42 (Mary kept a spotless character as she grew up.) Angels told her, “God has chosen you, given you a spotless character and given you distinction among the women of your times.”

She guarded her chastity and built a strong moral character in very adverse circumstances. Many monks and devotees of temples used to harbor evil intentions against nuns. She was the first revolutionary feminine voice against the manmade institution of monasticism. 57:27(sa).

💐৩:৪৩
يَا مَرْيَمُ اقْنُتِي لِرَبِّكِ وَاسْجُدِي وَارْكَعِي مَعَ الرَّاكِعِينَ
‘হে মাৰইয়াম! আপোনাৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ অনুগত হওঁক আৰু ছাজদা কৰক আৰু ৰুকুকাৰীসকলৰ লগত ৰুকু কৰক’।

[3:43] "O (Yaa) Mary (Mar'yamu), be obedient (Eq'nutii) to (Li) your LORD (Rabbi-ki) and (Wa) prostrate (Es'judii) and genuflect (Er'kaee) with (Maå) those who genuflect(Er'Raakieen)."

📍Verse/Note:
3:43 (Angels said to her), “Gather courage (quit monasticism), submit to the commands of your Lord and bow with those who bow to commands (Join your family for leading a normal life bowing to the design that God has ordained for mankind.)(sa).

💐৩:৪৪
ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ أَنْبَاءِ الْغَيْبِ نُوحِيهِ إِلَيْكَ ۚ وَمَا كُنْتَ لَدَيْهِمْ إِذْ يُلْقُونَ أَقْلَامَهُمْ أَيُّهُمْ يَكْفُلُ مَرْيَمَ وَمَا كُنْتَ لَدَيْهِمْ إِذْ يَخْتَصِمُونَ
এইটো অদৃশ্য সংবাদসমূহৰ অন্তৰ্ভুক্ত, যিটো আমি তোমাক অহিৰ দ্বাৰা অৱহিত কৰিছো; আৰু মাৰইয়ামৰ তত্ত্বাৱধানৰ দায়িত্ব সিহঁতৰ মাজৰ কোনে গ্ৰহণ কৰিব তাৰ বাবে যেতিয়া সিহঁতে সিহঁতৰ কলম নিক্ষেপ কৰিছিল তেতিয়া তুমি সিহঁতৰ ওচৰত উপস্থিত নাছিলা আৰু সিহঁতে যেতিয়া বাদানুবাদ কৰি আছিল তেতিয়াও তুমি তাত উপস্থিত নাছিলা।

[3:44] That (Zaalika) is from (Min') the news (Anbaai) of the unseen (El'Gai'bi) which We inspire (Nuuhii-hi) to you (s) (ilai'ka). For (Wa) you (Mohammed) were (Kunta) not (Maa) with them (Ladai'him') when (Iz') they
cast (Yul'quuna) their pens (Aq'laama-hum') as to which of them (Ayyuhum') should support (look after)(Yak'fulu) Mary (Mar'yama), nor (Wamaa) were you (Kunta) with them (Ladai'him') when (Iz') they were
disputing (Yakh'tasimuun).

📍Verse/Note:
3:44 (O Messenger) We are revealing to you these events of the unseen history (so that you may dispel conjecture). You were not present with them when they threw their pens (casting lots) which of them should take charge of Mary (after Zakariya). And you were not present with them when they quarreled about it(sa).

Verse/Note:
(3:44) Mary s apprehensions were not baseless. A number of priests wanted to take her in their charge. Their dispute became so serious that they had to resort to drawing lots to resolve the matter. Allah said, O Rasool! Allah is telling you all this through revelation otherwise you were neither present at the time when the lots were being drawn, nor when they contended about it with each other(pz).
