🧺POINTS TO BE NOTED:Part-58(3:104-111).
👉3:103-109~BELIEVERS: UNITED THEY STAND:
3:104-105(You should be such a Jamaat
that calls all humanity to the Quran and don't fell into factions-see notes).
3:106[(By falling to sectarianism)Taste then, the punishment for your disbelief].
3:109 (God's Rules are operative in the entire Universe.)
👉3:110-117~THE BEST AND THE WORST COMMUNITIES•
3:110(The Best Community-all submitters to God alone fit the description. The believers accept the Qur’an as the Criterion of right and wrong-see note)
3:111(following 3:110-God promises those who deviate cannot inflict on you anything but a trifling harm).
.
.
[3:104] And let (Wal') there be (-takun) a nation (Ummatun) of you (the believers) (Minkum') inviting (Yad'uuna)
to (ilaa) good 📍1
(El'Khai'ri), calling (Ya'muruuna) for kindness 📍2
(Bil' Ma'ruufi) and (Wa) forbidding
(Yan'haw'na Åni) abomination📍3
(El'Munkari). And (Wa) those (U'laaika) are the ones who (Humu) will be
the successful (El'Muf'lihuun).
.
📍Verse/Note-1
3:104 Let there be a community among you that invites to all that is good, advocating virtue and deterring vice. They are the truly successful.
.
Verses 2:143, 3:110 and 22:78 assign this duty to the entire Muslim community. Ma'roof = Virtue = Kindness = All that is good = Declared Ma’roof by the Qur’an. Munkar = Vice = Evil = All that is wrong = Declared Munkar by the Qur’an. 2:143,  3:109, 23:1, 61:2(sa).
.
Why do bad things happen to good people? See verse and footnote 8:25(pm).
.
📍Verse/Note-2
3:104- For the establishment of this system it is necessary that you should be such a Jama at
(Ummah) that calls all humanity to the Quran (3/109, 2/143, 22/78) enjoining what it recognises as right and forbidding what it declares wrong. If you do this, you will lead a life of progress and
prosperity (23/1)(pz).
.
(Do not get divided into Sects and Factions).
.
[3:105] And (Wa) do not (Laa) be (Takuunu') like (Ka) those who (Ellaziina) became separated (Tafarraqu')
and differed (Ekh'talafu') after (Min Ba'di) what (Maa) had come to them (Jaa'a-humu) of proofs
(El'Bayyinaatu). And (Wa) those (U'laaika) will have (Lahum') a terrible (Åziim) punishment (Åzaabun).
.
📍Verse/Note-1
3:105- O Jama at-ul-Momineen, you should not be like those who fell into factions and differed
amongst themselves after clear guidance had come to them. For them there is grievous torment
(6/160, 30/32, 42/13)(pz).
.
📍Verse/Note-2
3:105 Do not be like those who became divided and disputed after all evidence of the truth had come to them. For, they have incurred a tremendous suffering.
.
‘Bayyinaat’ = Clear evidences. Sectarianism, geographic and political schism, and ethnic divisions stand in the way of unity of all mankind. 6:159, 30:32, 42:13(sa).
.
.
[3:106] The day (Yaw'ma)
some faces (Wujuuhun) will be white (Tab'yaddu) and (Wa)
some faces (Wujuuhun)
will be black (Tas'waddu). Then (Fa) as for (Ammaa) those (Ellaziina) whose faces (Wujuuhu-hum') have
become black (Es'waddat'), "Did you disbelieve (A-kafar'tum) after (Ba'da) your faith (iimaani-kum')?! Then
(Fa) taste (Zuuqu') the punishment (El'Åzaaba) for what (Bimaa) you were (Kuntum') disbelieving (Tak'furuun)."
.
📍Verse/Note:
3:106 The Day (will come) when some faces will shine with joy and some faces will be portraits of gloom. (The former are those who hold on to the Bond of God, and the latter are those who get lost in sectarianism.) Those who will be portraits of gloom, will be told, "Ah, did you, (by falling to sectarianism) elect disbelief after attaining faith? Taste then, the punishment for your disbelief(sa).
.
.
[3:107] And (Wa) as for (Ammaa) those (Ellaziina) whose faces (Wujuuhu-hum') have become white
(Eb'yaddot'), thus (Fa) they will be in (Fii) the mercy of GOD (Rah'mati-llahi); eternally (Khaaliduun) therein
(Fiihaa).
.
📍Verse/Note:
3:107 And those whose faces shine, in the grace of God, they shall abide forever. [11:118-119](sa).
.
.
[3:108] These (Til'ka) are the verses of GOD (📍45:6) (Aayaatu-llahi) which We recite (Nat'luu-ha) to you (s)
(Ålai'ka) in truth (Bil' Haqqi); for (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) does not (Maa) intend (Yuriidu)
any injustice (Zul'man)
for the worlds (Lil' Åålamiin).
.
📍Verse/Note:
3:108 (The Rules given in these revelations determine the Rise and Fall of nations.) These are God's messages. We convey them to you in absolute truth, for, God wills no injustice to any of the creation(sa).
.
.
[3:109] And (Wa) to GOD belongs (Lillahi) whatever (Maa) is in (Fii) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and
whatever (Wamaa) is on earth (Fiil' Ar'di). And (Wa) to GOD (ilaallahi) return (Tur'jau) all matters (El'Umuur).
.
📍Verse/Note:
3:109 (His Rules are operative in the entire Universe.) Unto God belongs all that is in the Highs and all that is in the Lows, and all things are constantly working to fulfill the Divine Plan, moving and evolving toward what they are meant to be. All affairs turn to God (in order that the incredible discipline in the Universe be maintained.)
.
Lillah= For God = For the sake of God = In the cause of God = Belonging to God = Being subservient to Him = Working to fulfill the Divine Plan(sa).
.
(The Best Community).
.
[3:110] You (the believers) are (Kuntum') the best (Khai'ra) nation (Ummatin) produced (Ukh'rijat') for mankind
(Lin' Naasi); you call for (Ta'muruuna Bi) kindness (El'Ma'ruufi) and (Wa) forbid (Tan'haw'na Ani)
abomination (El'Munkari) and (Wa) believe (Tu'minuuna) in GOD (Billahi). And (Wa) if (Law') the People of
the Book (Ah'lul' Kitaabi) should believe (Aamana), it would (La) be (Kaana) better (Khai'ran) for them
(Lahum). Some of them (Min'humu) are believers (El'Mu'minuuna), but (Wa) most of them (Ak'tharu-humu)
are immoral (El'Faasiquun).
.
📍Verse/Note:
3:110 (Since you have been empowered by the Qur’an), you are the best suited Community that has been raised up for the good of mankind. You shall enjoin the Right and discourage the Wrong, since you have conviction in God. Now if the People of the Scripture had attained this kind of belief, it would have been for their own good. Some of them do embrace belief while most of them continue to drift away.
.
The believers accept the Qur’an as the Criterion of right and wrong 3:4. It educates people on the Permanent Moral Value System and distinguishes clearly what the otherwise vague terms of ‘right’ and ‘wrong’, and ‘good’ and ‘evil’ would mean(sa).
.
The verse does not limit the addressee to the era of prophet Muhammed; all monotheists, all submitters to God alone fit the description(edip).
.
.
[3:111] They can never (Lan) harm you (Yadurruu-kum') except (illaa) harassment (Azaan). And (Wa) if
(In) they should fight you (Yuqaatiluu-kum'), they will turn (Yuwalluu-) their backs (El'Ad'baara) to you (-
kumu); then (Thumma) they will not (Laa) be helped (Yunsoruun).
.
📍Verse/Note:
3:111 [but] these can never inflict more than a passing hurt on you; and if they fight against you, they will turn their backs upon you [in flight], and will not be succoured.
.
As is obvious from the opening sentence of verse 110, this promise to the followers of the Qur'an is conditional upon their being, or remaining, a community of people who "enjoin the doing of what is right and forbid the doing of what is wrong, and [truly] believe in God"; and - as history has shown -this promise is bound to lapse whenever the Muslims fail to live up to their faith(as).
