🏠৩:৮

رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ

হে আমাৰ ৰব! সৰল পথ প্ৰদান কৰাৰ পিছত তুমি আমাৰ অন্তৰসমূহক সত্য লঙ্ঘনপ্ৰবণ নকৰিবা আৰু তোমাৰ তৰফৰ পৰা আমাক ৰহমত প্ৰদান কৰা, নিশ্চয় তুমি মহাদাতা।

[3:8] "Our LORD (Rabba-naa), do not (Laa) deviate (Tuzig') our hearts (Quluuba-naa) after (Ba'da) when (Iz')

YOU have guided us (📍9:115) (Hadai'ta-naa) and (Wa) grant us (Hab'la-naa) mercy (Rah'matan) from YOU 

(Min Ladun-ka). Indeed (Innaka), YOU (Anta) are the GRANTOR (El' Wahhaab).

(📍৯:১১৫

وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُضِلَّ قَوْمًا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَاهُمْ حَتَّىٰ يُبَيِّنَ لَهُمْ مَا يَتَّقُونَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ

আৰু আল্লাহ এনেকুৱা নহয় যে, তেওঁ কোনো সম্প্ৰদায়ক হিদায়ত দিয়াৰ পিছত সিহঁতে বিৰত থাকিবলগীয়া বিষয়সমূহ বিতংভাৱে জনাই নিদিয়াৰ আগতেই সিহঁতক বিভ্ৰান্ত কৰিব। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সকলো বিষয়ে সৰ্বজ্ঞ।)

🏠৩:৯

رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ جَامِعُ النَّاسِ لِيَوْمٍ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ

হে আমাৰ ৰব! নিশ্চয় তুমি এদিনাখন মানুহক সমবেত কৰিবা তাত কোনো সন্দেহ নাই; নিশ্চয় আল্লাহে প্ৰতিশ্ৰুতি ভঙ্গ নকৰে।

[3:9] "Our LORD (Rabba-naa), indeed, YOU (Innaka) will gather (Jaamiu) the people (En'Naasi) for (Li) a day (Yaw'min) about which (Fiihi) there is no (Laa) doubt (Rai'ba). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) does not (Laa)

break (Yukh'lifu) a promise (El'Miiååd)."

🏠৩:১০(Winners versus Losers).

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَنْ تُغْنِيَ عَنْهُمْ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلَا أَوْلَادُهُمْ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمْ وَقُودُ النَّارِ

নিশ্চয় যিসকলে কুফৰী কৰে, আল্লাহৰ ওচৰত সিহঁতৰ ধন-সম্পদ আৰু সন্তান-সন্ততি কোনো কামত নাহিব আৰু ইহঁতেই জুইৰ ইন্ধন

[3:10] Indeed (Inna), those who (Ellaziina) have disbelieved (Kafaruu'); their wealth (Am'waalu-hum) will 

never (Lan) avail them (Tug'niya Ån-hum) nor (Walaa) will their children (Aw'laadu-hum) against GOD (Minallahi) at all (Shai'an). And (Wa) they (Hum') are those (U'laaika) who will be fuel (Waquudu) of the Fire (En'Naar).

🏠৩:১১

كَدَأْبِ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ وَالَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا فَأَخَذَهُمُ اللَّهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ

সিহঁতৰ অভ্যাস ফিৰআউনী সম্প্ৰদায় আৰু সিহঁতৰ পূৰ্বৱৰ্তীসকলৰ অভ্যাসৰ দৰে, সিহঁতে আমাৰ আয়াতসমূহক অস্বীকাৰ কৰিছিল, ফলত আল্লাহে সিহঁতৰ পাপকৰ্মৰ বাবে সিহঁতক ধৰিছিল, আৰু আল্লাহ শাস্তি প্ৰদানত অতি কঠোৰ।

[3:11] Like (Ka) the habit (Da-bi) of the people (Aali) of Pharaoh (Fir'åw'na) and (Wa) those (Ellaziina)before them (Min Qab'li-him’), they denied (Kazzabuu' Bi) Our signs (Aayaati-naa), so (Fa) GOD (Ellahu)seized them (Akhaza-humu) for (Bi) their sins (Zunuubi-him). And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is severe (Shadiidu)

in penalty (El'Eqaab).

📍Verse/Note-1

3:11-(For example) the followers of the Pharaoh and the people before them who rejected these Laws suffered grievously. And Allah is Severe in retribution(pz).

The word aya in its singular form occurs 84 times in the Quran and, in all of the occurrences, means miracle, evidence, or lesson. However, its plural form ayat is used both for miracle/evidence/lesson AND for the language of revelation that entails or leads to those miracles/evidences/lessons. See 2:106(edip).

🏠৩:১২

قُلْ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا سَتُغْلَبُونَ وَتُحْشَرُونَ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ ۚ وَبِئْسَ الْمِهَادُ

যিসকলে কুফৰী কৰে সিহঁতক কোৱা, ‘তোমালোকে অনতিপলমে পৰাজিত হ’বা আৰু তোমালোকক জাহান্নামৰ ফালে একত্ৰিত কৰা হ’ব আৰু সেয়া যে কিমান নিকৃষ্ট আবাসস্থল!’

[3:12] Tell (Qul Li) those who (Laziina) disbelieve (Kafaru'), "You will be overcome (Sa Tug'labuuna) and 

gathered (Tuh'sharuuna) to Hell (Jahannama); and (Wa) wretched (Bi'sa) is the resting place (El'Mihaad)."

📍Verse/Note:

3:12- O Rasool! say to those who oppose your system that they will be subdued eventually and driven to Jahannam which is a wretched abode(pz).

🏠৩:১৩(Believers: The Ultimate Victors).

قَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ آيَةٌ فِي فِئَتَيْنِ الْتَقَتَا ۖ فِئَةٌ تُقَاتِلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَأُخْرَىٰ كَافِرَةٌ يَرَوْنَهُمْ مِثْلَيْهِمْ رَأْيَ الْعَيْنِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ يُؤَيِّدُ بِنَصْرِهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِأُولِي الْأَبْصَارِ

নিশ্চয় তোমালোকৰ বাবে দুটা দলৰ পৰস্পৰ সন্মুখীন হোৱাৰ মাজত নিদৰ্শন আছে। এদলে যুদ্ধ কৰিছিল আল্লাহৰ পথত, আনটো আছিল কাফিৰ। সিহঁতে বাহ্যিক দৃষ্টিত তেওঁলোকক সিহঁতৰ দ্বিগুণ দেখিছিল। আল্লাহে যাক ইচ্ছা কৰে নিজ সাহায্যৰ দ্বাৰা শক্তিশালী কৰে। নিশ্চয় ইয়াত অন্তৰ্দৃষ্টিসম্পন্ন লোকসকলৰ বাবে শিক্ষা আছে।

[3:13] There has already (Qad') been (Kaana) a sign (Aayatun) for you (Lakum) in (Fii) the meeting (El'taqataa) of the two parties (Fiatai'ni); one party (Fiatun) fighting (Tuqaatilu) in (Fii) the way of GOD (Sabiili-llahi) and (Wa) another (Ukh'raa) of disbelievers (Kaafiratun). They (the disbelievers) saw them (the other party)

(Yaraw'na-hum) the like of themselves (Mith'lai'him) by the vision (Ra'ya) of the eyes (El'Åi'ni). And (Wa)GOD (Ellahu) supported (Yuayyidu) whomever (Man) HE willed (Yashaa') with (Bi) HIS victory (Nas'ri-hi). Indeed (Inna), there is (La) a lesson (Eb'ratan) in (Fii) that (Zaalika) for (Li) those (U'lii) of eyesight (El'Ab'soar).

📍Verse/Note:

3:13 (Only recently at Badr) there was a sign for you in the two armies that met in combat. One was fighting in the cause of God, the other denying Him. With their own eyes the two armies saw each other as twice their number. But God strengthens people with His support according to His laws. This must be a lesson for people of vision for all times.

.

The believers in their motivation saw the manifold enemy just twice their own numbers, while the deniers saw the smaller opponents twice the size they actually were. God helps those who help themselves(sa).

🏠৩:১৪

زُيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ حُبُّ الشَّهَوَاتِ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ وَالْبَنِينَ وَالْقَنَاطِيرِ الْمُقَنْطَرَةِ مِنَ الذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ وَالْخَيْلِ الْمُسَوَّمَةِ وَالْأَنْعَامِ وَالْحَرْثِ ۗ ذَٰلِكَ مَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَاللَّهُ عِنْدَهُ حُسْنُ الْمَآبِ

নাৰী, সন্তান, সোণ-ৰূপৰ স্তূপ, চিহ্নিত ঘোঁড়া, গবাদি পশু আৰু খেতি পথাৰৰ প্ৰতি আসক্তি মানুহৰ ওচৰত সুশোভিত কৰা হৈছে। এইবোৰ পাৰ্থিৱ জীৱনৰ ভোগসামগ্ৰী; আৰু আল্লাহ, তেওঁৰ ওচৰতেই আছে উত্তম প্ৰত্যাৱৰ্তনস্থল।

[3:14] Adorned (Zuyyina) for mankind (Lin' Naasi) is the love (Hubbu) of craving (Es'Shahawaati) for (Mina)women 1

(En'Nisaai), children 2(El'Baniina), quintal (El'Qanaatiiri) vaults (El'Muqantorati) of (Mina) gold 3(Ez'Zahabi) and silver 4

(Wal' Fiddoti), branded (El'Musawwamati) horses 5(El'Khai'li), livestock 6(El'An'ååmi)

and cultivation 7(Wal' Har'thi). That (Zaalika) is the enjoyment (provision) (Mataau) of the worldly (Ed'Dun'ya)life (📍57:20) (El'Hayaati), but (Wa) with (Endahu) GOD (Ellahu) is the best (Hus'nu) of return (El'Ma-aab).

📍Note:

The topic of the previous verse is the fighting armies, which were almost all male. "The people" in verse 3:14 refers to adult males who are expected to draft for military service. Verse 3:14 gives a list of weaknesses in the minds of the drafted male population to join the military for defending their community. A short-term preoccupation with those blessings, ironically, could be the cause of long-term destruction and deprivation from all(edip).

Believers in the Divine laws see this comfort as the means to a higher Goal --- Service --- Self-actualization --- Paradise(sa).

۞ قُلْ أَؤُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِخَيْرٍ مِنْ ذَٰلِكُمْ ۚ لِلَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا وَأَزْوَاجٌ مُطَهَّرَةٌ وَرِضْوَانٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ بَصِيرٌ بِالْعِبَادِ

কোৱা, ‘মই তোমালোকক এইবোৰ বস্তুতকৈ উৎকৃষ্ট কোনো বস্তুৰ সংবাদ দিম নেকি? যিসকলে তাক্বৱা অৱলম্বন কৰে তেওঁলোকৰ বাবে তেওঁলোকৰ প্ৰতিপালকৰ ওচৰত আছে জান্নাত, যাৰ তলত নদীসমূহ প্ৰবাহিত হয়, তাত তেওঁলোক স্থায়ী হ’ব; আৰু আছে পৱিত্ৰ স্ত্ৰীসকল লগতে আল্লাহৰ তৰফৰ পৰা সন্তুষ্টি; আৰু আল্লাহ বান্দাসকলৰ বিষয়ে সম্যক দ্ৰষ্টা।

[3:15] Say (Qul'): "Shall I inform you (p) (A'unabbiu-kum) what is (Bi) better (Khai'rin) than (Min) that (Zaali-kum) for those who (Lillaziina) are pious (Ettaqaw')? Gardens (Jannaatun) at (Enda) their LORD (Rabbi-him)

beneath which (Min Tah'ti-ha) rivers (El'An'haaru) flow (Taj'rii), eternally (Khaalidiina) therein (Fiiha), as well as (Wa) purified (Mutohharatun) mates (spouses) (Az'waajun) and (Wa) approval (Rid'waanun) from GOD (Minallahi)." And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is cognizant of (Basiiru Bi) the servants (El'Ebaadi),

📚Why we should study Quran rather than just recite, because GOD commanded us to study Quran, that we ponder and understand HIS command, apply these to our lives (38:29,4:82).
